This is a large boot barn location with a wide variety of items to choose from. I was greeted by Kris right away, and she helped me find the perfect accessory to complement the denim dress and Shayanne western booties I intend to wear to a country themed engagement party in wine country. That being said, she noticed I had a really tiny waist, and suggested we find an accent belt to match the boots. The ladies section didn't have a thing that would fit me, so we headed over to the kids belt section. I found the perfect belt. Not too flashy, it fit perfectly, and most importantly, it is absolutely darling! I really like this location as they were on top of it with respect to customers service. In addition to that, i think you get a lot of value for the money you spend here at boot barn considering the quality of the items. I've purchased Stetson, Ariat, and other brands here... different items, like, hats (Stetson open road is a favorite), and ariat cowgirl boots for my little girl at boot barn in TX, and everything has held up so well! Great, quality selection of items: clothing, hats, shirts, boots, etc for all ages. I came here to get my son an outfit for his 11th birthday party- western/cowboy theme. I was able to find him a shirt, wranglers, boots, hat, and belt all totaling around $500. Everything is quite pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. They have a return policy of 30 days with tags intact and receipt. I was very happy with my purchase and the gal that helped us was very informative and sweet (as was all staff). I highly recommend this store. It is very clean and well organized. You can become a rewards member and earn money for your purchases. However, points you earn do expire fairly quickly. read more

Loves: The store is HUGE with everything you need to complete your western look. They have Men's, Women's and Kid's items. Dislikes: No one asked if I needed help even with me wandering around looking like I did. After 30 minutes, I had an arm full of clothing and still no body asked to hold my clothes at the fitting room. When I did need a fitting room, I stood at the counter waiting while the staff person continued to use the computer (no customers), and didn't acknowledge me. Another sales person finally walked up and asked if I needed help. If you are price conscious, this store is probably not for you. Everything was priced pretty high. read more

Customer service matters. I stopped in today at about 12:30 with money burning a hole in my pocket and intending to buy a nearly $300 hat if the store had it. As I perused the hat selection and went back and forth between both sides of the hat selection, the woman employee who was tending to boots just on the other side of the aisle where I was looking at hats ignored me. I walked to the back of the store where I saw some hats on the wall, but it became apparent they were for decoration, so I walked back to the hat section. The same woman employee continued to ignore me despite it being apparent to any sentient being I was looking for something. As I walked out empty handed, another employee in the same aisle as the other one let me walk out without saying a peep. Mind you, I was the only customer in the store at the time. Let that marinate. It's hard to make a sale when you don't engage with the customer. Even though the store didn't have the hat I came in for, the seemingly oblivious employees who ignored might might have sold me something else, albeit not a hat. When I traversed the store, I saw on display a couple shirts I thought I might like, but I wasn't about to buy anything after being ignored. With that, Tustin Boot Barn, I bid you farewell. My teenage son was looking for jeans everywhere. This store was maybe the 5th store we went to and it did not dissapoint. The most notable thing in this location is customer service. My son felt comfortable and assisted. The staff were patient and dedicated to finding a pair that fits him well. We found some Ariat jeans that were a great fit. My husband noted that the boot barn at the orange location is nothing compared to this boot barn. Again when we've gone to the orange location all the staff seem to have an attitude and don't really offer to help. This location however, amazing! They had great deals and a wide selection of items. Like many of the posters here i served myself the first time I came and bought a $300 pair of work boots. After they tore my feet up, I brought them back and Brandon gladly refunded me. Once my feet healed, I went back and this time asked for Brandon who asked a few questions and brought me my best options, explaining why. Came to this boot barn because this store was the only one that had a dress in my size in stock; I usually go to the one in Anaheim. I walked in and the employees looked friendly talking amongst themselves and helping out some customers. I walked around and found the dress I was looking for and decided to walk around and look at some boots. Usually by this time is when I always get a "hi" or "have you been helped" by an employee but not today. I ended up finding some boots by myself after some time and by this time a few employees had walked past me and I know they saw me looking lost because we made eye contact for a moment but they left. I tried to find someone to help me out at the end but no luck. I'm just going to believe that it was probably almost everyone's lunch time and I just caught everyone at a bad time and not anything discriminatory because I didn't look like the customers that were being helped. read more
