This Kohl's is hidden away on Irvine Blvd. The most import thing, they have amazon return here. The amazon center is located on the first floor to the right. This store has two floors. They have a nice selection of children's toy. Every time I've been there have multiple registers open to help customers. ***DO NOT GO FOR AMAZON DROP OFF*** I had to drop off an item for an Amazon return at the Kohl's in Tustin and it was the worst experience ever. On the Amazon website there is a section that says this: Kohl's Dropoff- no box or label needed. So I went and took my item in it's original manufacturer's packing plastic bag, and Kohl's told me I had to pack it up in a bag or box. So I told them what the Amazon website says and they refused to accept my item. So I had to exit the long line to find a box or a packaging bag. Luckily I had one in my car from a Walmart order, so i had to turn the bag inside out and pack my item in there and then return to the really long line and wait another 20 minutes for someone to help me. I don't understand why Kohl's does not honor what is posted on the Amazon return instructions. I have posted a screenshot to show proof to support my claim. read more

Yikes.... I would give this zero stars if I could. I came in to get shoes around 8:30 on Friday night. I don't know what is going at this store, but customer service is nowhere to be found upstairs in the shoes department. Either that or they were intentionally hiding. I saw one female worker there when I first came up and a few seconds later she disappeared into the back somewhere. Never asked if I needed any help. I walked around and around looking for people and no one else was there. Then I saw one guy who looked like a worker and as soon as he saw me he took off in the opposite direction and disappeared. I then called the Kohl's shoes department and some woman answered. I told her I need someone to help me with shoes and she said she'll transfer me to the shoes department. Why would she need to transfer me to the shoes department when I called the shoes department? I think she was lying. Then guess what.. I was on hold for 5 minutes and it was her that picked up the phone and said "hello can I help you?". It was the same woman who answered the phone and said she would transfer to the shoes department. She clearly just put me on hold for no reason, or because she doesn't want to help. I proceeded to asked for help with my shoes and instpead of sending someone to the department to meet me and help out she just asked what size and shoe I'm looking for. Then she put me on hold again for another 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I just hung up because I realized she wasn't going to answer. Luckily I found some other store associate who wasn't even working in shoes and they helped find out if there was my size in stock. I had to go out my way and chase down this person for help. She didn't even come and ask me if I needed help. 5 minutes later I saw some woman come out and start cleaning up the shoes. She had a very morose look on her face, didn't offer to help me at all, and then I turned around and actually caught her sneering at me. Then she just asked if I'm using the shoe boxes next to me. I said yes and she just walked away. Hey Kohl's, what type of people are you hiring? Are you screening and checking their backgrounds at all? I came to Kohls to make an Amazon return. They gave me a coupon for 25% off next purchase. I went to the mens department to get a Columbia billfold and use the coupon. When I checked out, they declined the coupon they just printed because "it's only good on national brands (per the sales lady) and they can't accept for this. Perhaps I'd rather get something else? I looked forward to doing my holiday shopping at Kohl's. Well, again I had an unpleasant shopping experience at the Tustin CA store this evening. I found Under Armour shirts stacked neatly on a display in an assortment of designs and sizes. Above the counter was a sign that read "30% Off Under Armour Reg $25.00 Sale $16.99. I picked 3 shirts with a $25.00 price tag, picked up a few more items and brought them to the register. The register rang them up without any sale price. The cashier called the manager in charge, and I showed him the display of shirts with the sale sign. At this point the manager said there was 2 signs on the counter. One that showed the shirts regular price range. I told him that I saw both signs, but the sale sign indicated the ones priced at $25 were on sale for $16.99. The manager then said, "no some of them are regular price." I picked up a $25 shirt and asked the manager how the customer can differentiate whether it is on sale versus regular price. The manager said, "the customer could take it to somebody or take it to a scanner." I responded that I felt this is deceitful to Kohl's customers. If some shirts are regular price, they should be on a separate display, separate from the sale items. The manager said, the two signs are okay on the same display. I feel this is false advertisement. Customers can easily put these shirts into their cart, pay and leave the store not knowing they are being charged full price! This is wrong, this does not promote a good customers experience and return business! read more

I was trying to order a pair of shoes that I really liked online from Kohls store in Tustin and I couldn't figure it out. I went to the Tustin Kohls store in person and asked for help, since it wasn't busy at all. Noemi and Candy T. Came over to me and said that they were happy to to show me how to place the order. I was so satisfied with how they taught me, they didn't make me feel like I was ignorant, they were very patient, helpful, understanding and most of all, so nice to me, I appreciate their kindness, as I am 78 years old. I stopped in here today, because I had about an hour to kill, and I love Kohls, so why not. The staff in this store was very friendly to me.... which, for Kohls is sadly, not normal. So it was a nice change. I headed upstairs to find a restroom, and browsed up there for a bit. I found a few things, and went to check out. The line near the mens section was really long, the one by the juniors department, not so bad. It moved really fast, and by the time I left the line by the mens section was way down as well. I basically only come here to do my Amazon returns. At first, the whole Amazon system at this location was a joke! They kept changing where the line was, had the signs misplaced and etc etc. I have gotten into some gnarly arguments with employees because no one knows whats going on! I once stood in line for 20 minutes when the employee was like, "We don't do Amazon returns here." Hellooo you clearly see I am holding an Amazon package, why couldn't you tell me this before?! Fast forward to now, a few months later, it has gotten a lot better. They moved the line to the mid back section and there is always 2 employees handling the returns, whereas it used to be just one. They have become more efficient but not much nicer. I get that doing Amazon returns is not the most glamorous job, but fake it until you make it!! There used to be one nice and friendly employee but I don't see him anymore so maybe he moved on with his life, as he should! Anyhoo, for a quick in and out Amazon return, this is my go to! I don't really shop at Kohl's anymore BUT if you do an Amazon return they give you a 25% coupon voucher but beware this is only on SELECTIVE items, which is just a few. Just about the easiest return of a product ever. I had all the tags and the receipt for an item bought just a week earlier. The arguable down side is that one simply got in the single checkout line that was being served by 5 or 6 cashiers. The upside is that is the most efficient way to associate that labor, for faster service all the time and lower costs. There is never any penalty for picking the trainee line either. read more

I had a great customer service experience here today. I needed to return an Amazon purchase. I have done about 3-4 returns, but I had not used a Kohls before. I couldn't get my Amazon app to allow the kohls app to open the kohls map to find which store! KEVIN at the Amazon return counter helped me! I just needed to hit confirm on the Kohl's part... not go all the way to the map locator on the store app. I did it all from right there in the store! Excellent customer service. Seriously. The lines here are absolutely ridiculous. I never really give reviews but just go to a different Kohls. Amazon returns? 20-30 minutes. Try to go on lunch? 20-30 minutes. Maybe after work? 20-30 minutes. Good thing you have an employee folding shirts at the speed of smell instead of assisting in checking people out. Review of Amazon Return only. Recently dropped off an Amazon return. Thought everything went OK as I received an email and refund. However, nearly a month later, I received a return reminder. I contact Amazon right away and they quickly resolved the issue, noting that it may not have been scanned in the fulfillment center (Kohl's). I suspect one of the items, a very popular shoe, didn't make it back to Amazon. I saw them scan it but something happen after the scan. It either was lost in the return pile or stolen. I believe it was the latter. This has never happened to me in the multiple times I've returned here. So if you have a popular item to return, be mindful where you drop it off and avoid this store. read more

I find it funny that everything at Kohl's is always on sale. There is always a huge sale or a great coupon out there. I notice they purposely over price the tags and mark it down by 40%. Excellent strategy. This particular location used to be Mervyn's. I really miss Mervyns but Kohls is close enough - they have all the same things - clothes, jewelry, shoes and home goods. You can get a lot of shopping done just by stopping in. I went to the black friday sale a few years back and it was a nightmare. They opened at 4am and it was PACKED but I must admit the deals were awesome...not sure if can handle all the excitement so early in the morning again but if you are looking to get a lot of pre-xmas shopping done for cheap, Kohl's is a good place to start. Oh, by the check out area they have racks selling gift cards to random stores and itunes like they do in supermarkets. I actually bought some as gifts - very convenient. read more

Well, I'm not really a Kohl's fan, but I was in the area, passing time and stopped in. They had some bliss spa products on offer, so that was quite a nice surprise. I don't know why, but every time I go to Kohl's (any location), it seems that there is only one register open? And there's always a line. I understand that they may not have extra staff to work the tills, but if it's always an issue? A tip for anyone who may have never been in the store: never pay full price. Not sure if I'll ever come back to this location again, which is a shame because it's close by my workplace. I started shopping here to buy clothes for work and came here to have a sensor removed from a blazer that was purchased at a different location. The other store forgot to remove it at the time of my purchase. The cashier at the Tustin location, was a male; I didn't catch his name, but he was wearing a Cowboys sports jersey and had black slicked back hair, was really rude and short with me. He kept brushing me off when I would speak. He called over his manager and I explained to her what happened and she told him that it was okay to remove the sensor for me. He looked pretty peeved and idk if it's because he thought I was lying and that maybe thought that I stole the piece of clothing. I didn't appreciate it and I think he could work some more on his customer service skills. I won't be returning here anymore. I now understand why this location has only 2 1/2 stars. read more

Went in just to browse and noticed that the store was very well kept being it was a Saturday afternoon. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance which was nice. I learned that the shoe department was on the 2nd level along with the restrooms. Went to make my purchase and there was only 2 people in front of me. There are now two folks working the Amazon returns counter, which although I was the 12th person in line, it did move pretty fast. I still prefer UPS as the best method for returns. Also, please don't fall for the 25% off coupon they give you for the the Amazon returns. Kohl's is charging $75 for a pair of slacks that you can buy on Amazon for 19.99. I just don't see the benefit in jacking up their prices to MSRP or higher than retail, to do a buy one, get 1/2 off, +25% which still doesn't bring you to the 19.99 price, or regular pricing at other retailers. Avoid the fake incentives and do your due diligence before falling for the trap. read more

Neriza and Leslie were the most rude store clerks I've ever encountered. As someone who has had to work retail plenty of times in the past, I understand it is difficult sometimes to keep up a positive attitude at work. Because of this, I tend to be very friendly when it comes to customer service as I understand how it feels to be on the other side. Despite my efforts to be friendly, however, my sister and I could not emphasize how terrible the service was at this Kohl's location. Keep in mind that my sister is a loyal Kohl's customer with a Kohl's card and always recommends Kohl's to her friends all the time. My sister and I came at around 1:00 PM looking for watches. We saw a section for the watches and wanted to look at more, so we approached Neriza to ask. She ignored us, so we asked her politely if there were any other sections that had watches. She told us "No, those are the only watches." She completely ignored us, without even looking at us, and continued to do her restocking work. My sister and I later found more watches. When we decided to try a watch, we waited at the register for a good 25 minutes. It got to the point where the PA system at Kohl's repeated 3 times to go to help a customer at the register. This is when Leslie came in and said in an extremely rude tone, "Do you need help". We asked for the watch and Neriza ended up helping us. Along the way, we asked about the 30% promo code online and she told us that it was only for online pick up and that we would have to do that. We asked if we could and she said go for it. Later on, we found out that pickup was not available in any Kohls near us, and she laughed and said, "Yeah we don't do online pick up anymore." Why waste our time and instead tell us that we can't do that? Afterwards, she left back to chat with her coworkers, completely ignoring my sister and I again. I have never felt so disrespected even when I was working in retail. I had to suppress my anger a lot and even after all that, I was very polite. I will never go to this Kohl's again. When holidays are approaching, it is normal for retail stores to get stressed because of all the customers coming in last minute shopping for presents, but Neriza and Leslie's attitude did not reflect what I expect for a typical retail store. read more

Beware of the rude young man doing the amazon returns. He gave me Major attitude like I was abusing the system when I was trying to return amazon items-- asking why I was returning and why it didn't work out (asking is fine but don't do it with an attitude). Amazon makes you answer all of those questions before approving your return so I don't really see why I need to justify myself to this associate. Especially when he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He also completely ignored me when I asked for his name. As soon as I left the store I immediately called the manager to complain. I was informed by the Tustin Kohl's cashiers on Saturday, April 3, 2021, due to COVID-19 causing the inability to try on clothes to determine a customer's most befitting size, I was encouraged to buy all possible sizes to take home and determine which sizes are most befitting of my body shape. I was assured I was able to return and exchange the incorrect sizes for the correct sizes in the same brands (Tek Gear and Apt.9) utilizing my Special Offer 40 discount, so I would NOT lose the Special Offer 40 discount. I entrusted the information provided by the retail store's cashiers because, as part of their professional onboarding and training process, I expected them to be familiar with Kohl's policies and exhibit integrity amongst Kohl's customers. Therefore, as instructed, I proceeded to purchase a variety of sizes, utilizing my Kohl's Special Offer 40 discount equating to an amount of $138.20. I returned home to determine the correct sizes most befitting of my body shape and proceeded to return and exchange the incorrect sizes to Laguna Niguel Kohl's, utilizing my Special Offer 40 discount. On Monday, April 5, 2021, at Laguna Niguel Kohl's, I was informed Tustin Kohl's did not provide me with accurate information because I was unable to exchange and retain and re-apply my Special Offer 40 discount for the correct sizes in the same brands (Tek Gear and Apt.9). I felt incredibly displeased and betrayed with the lack of integrity exhibited to me by the Tustin Kohl's cashiers. I expected a representation of professional values from the Kohl's brand of employees. Unfortunately, times are very difficult, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, so discounts are taken very seriously by customers who are facing such difficult financial situations. I contacted the Tustin Kohl's Assistant Store Manager, Sabrina Lopez at Sabrina.Lopez@kohls.com, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 to resolve this matter but have not received a response. I needed some new slippers. I had other errands to run today including getting some frozen and refrigerated items. This was my last stop and I planned on doing a curbside, as this location does do curbside. I arrived, parked right up front, checked in, and waited. I waited 10 minutes, and nobody. So I tried to call the number listed in the email. It sounded like the phone was answered and went to a high pitched tone. So I went to google, to try to find a better number. Same number, same tone. Now it had been 20 minutes. I didn't want to leave my vehicle full of groceries and other purchases but at this point I had no choice. So I went inside. And the employee at the front check out was leaned over the check out on her phone. I asked where customer service was and she barely looked up and pointed towards the back corner. I went over there and was told to wait by the online pickup. While I was waiting I heard the little drive up pinging sound going off multiple times... A young man came over and asked to scan my Barcode... he couldn't find the order so he asked doe my ID which I gave to him... and he looked up the order and went somewhere. Then I saw him go over to a register and ask the woman working there something and she pointed behind her on another register. He grabbed something, came over to me and it was my slippers. I don't know why someone had put them there and then not brought them out to me when I checked in... but it was a pretty unfortunate experience overall. Wish it had been better. read more

I came here 12/23 to look at graphic tees for my sister they had 3 tables that all said 2/20 but the tables where a mess so it took a while to find two in the correct size and there where no workers to be found to ask for help. Well I finally found two went to check out had to wait 20 minutes to get to a register then I noticed that they rang up as 14.99 and 19.99 ( 11.04 and 13.84 after discount) when I told her the sale price she called a manager named Josh who argued with me saying that I had to get 2 of the 19.99 or 2 of the 14.99 to qualify. I asked why they where mixed then and he said not his problem. He kept arguing and being rude saying he didn't care. Then he made me walk over to jewelry to return them.
