This location was my introduction to Miniso about one year ago. The "$10 and Under" sign drew me in. Although not true, to my delight I found a colorful, higher-priced Daiso-like store. They have so many cute things, both necessities and a twist on must haves, like an animal-themed memory stick for your laptop. Their plush animal selection is impressive. This store had some Sanrio products and a lot of Disney products, too, "Toy Story" in particular. I found knick knack stocking stuffers. The store was busy but it's clean, well organized and the employees provide good service. Not many snacks sold here. Plenty of parking as you leisurely stroll through this shopping center. Note that everything is a bargain here compared to the small, overpriced Sanrio store.

I love Miniso in general but I just found out about this location and I really like it. This store is so spacious and well lit and their stock is so many varieties. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They are constantly fixing and tidy up. Their merchandise display are eye catching as well. The prices are affordable. Parking not a problem.

Inspired by Japanese designs, Miniso is a Chinese brand that offer everyday life products and caters to the younger crowd. This Miniso feels smaller than the Irvine Spectrum location and doesn't seem to have as much stuff. Pricing and variety of goods are not as good as Daiso; some items are not labeled with pricing info. However, there are quite a bit of Marvel stuff and some inexpensive gift items, especially the cute plush toys.

Pretty rude service from the guy working. Zero people skills. Be warned when you shop here.

All the people that work there are seemingly from the restaurant industry and really another stuff. Phong is who you want to talk to, he knows his stuff. Came in for a few things, one of which were some new legs for my griddle. My griddle is pretty old and the thread size is bigger than anything made now. He did his best, but as I was walking out, he told me he would check some of the old equipment in back they pull out of old locations when they do new equipment installs. He pulled some legs the exact size I needed it off an old griddle! This was something he didn't have to do but really wanted to help me out. Amazing people at this location, I'll give them more of my business moving forward.

Working with Doug Schonfeld at Chef Toys has been an exceptional experience from start to finish…read more Doug is a wealth of information when it comes to EVERYTHING that belongs in a kitchen. He has a way of explaining things that makes even complex decisions feel straightforward and manageable. What I appreciate most about Doug is how genuinely helpful he is. No matter the question or challenge, he takes the time to understand what's needed and always comes back with thoughtful, practical solutions. He's a natural problem solver who anticipates issues before they arise, which makes a huge difference. Doug is also incredibly responsive. Whether it's a quick question or a more detailed request, he consistently replies promptly and thoroughly, keeping everything moving smoothly. Above all, Doug is honest and trustworthy. His recommendations are always grounded in what's best for the situation, not just making a sale. That level of integrity is rare and makes him someone you can confidently rely on. Doug is the reason we love Chef Toys and continue to choose them every time here at Orange Coast College. His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication make all the difference. I highly recommend Doug at Chef Toys to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely supportive partner in kitchen equipment.

After cooking a casserole in the oven, the bottom of the pan cracked in a large circle visible on the inside and outside of the pan. I took the pan to the Newport Beach store where I was informed by the collective of 3 Sur la Table employees at the register that Sur La Table only has a 30 day return policy. I'm not returning this item because I'm unsatisfied with it, (it's a great pan). This falls into the Sur la Table Lifetime Warranty classification whereas this product is defective and should last YEARS...not 18 months. I have cheap Pyrex dishes that are 20 years old and have never cracked. Of all products sold at Sur La Table, I would think they would stand behind their warranty for a white labeled product, especially if defective. Since their store clerks cannot distinguish between the 30-day return policy and a lifetime warranty issue, I raised this issue one last time with their customer service department to see if they would make the effort to accommodate a loyal customer. Needless to say...the response was the same from their online customer service team. I'm DONE with Sur la table! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Worst experience EVER and will now purchase kitchen and household items from Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn only!

I love to cook & I see all the possibilities of the items to make life easier or more efficient here. My santoku is starting to become dull & needs sharpening. I couldn't my favorite chef 's knife (the whole knife block cannot be found!) Hubby found a chefs knife & he got me the sharpener. I told him I wanted to get the stone/honing block but he opted for the metal kind. The staff are super helpful & answered our questions. There so many "toys" I wanted to buy but I must resist the urge to amass more "clutter" (that's what Hubby calls it, but he reaps the benefit when he eats what I cook). I still need a dumpling rolling pin, but they only have standard types at this location. Aisles are fairly spacious & inventory appears well stocked, neatly arranged & sorted. Prices are fair & marked accordingly. It has its own designated free parking lot. Good shopping trip, met our goals.

Warranty Experience with Chef's Toys and Mulberry Technology…read moreInitial Purchase and Expectations In 2023, we invested a total of $26,472.61, which included taxes and two warranty insurance plans, for a 3-door KINTORA refrigerator and a 2-door KINTORA freezer. Our initial experience was smooth and hassle-free, largely thanks to our salesperson, Estaban Aguirre. Unfortunately, we later discovered that Estaban was no longer with the company. The Issue Arises On March 6, 2026, the hinge of our 3-door KINTORA refrigerator broke, rendering the refrigerator unusable. Since we had purchased a warranty, we immediately reached out to Estaban for assistance, only to learn from Raul Flores that Estaban was no longer employed with Chef's Toys. Raul provided us with contact information for Mulberry Technology, who was supposed to handle our warranty claims. Challenges with the Warranty Process This marked the beginning of a frustrating ordeal. It quickly became apparent that Chef's Toys was not well-acquainted with Mulberry Technology. Raul initially gave us an incorrect contact number for starting our claim. He directed us to Joshua Wohl at Mulberry, who, while not involved in claims processing, was helpful enough to connect us with the appropriate department--after we had already experienced several unhelpful responses from Raul. After sending our purchase order to Karime, our contact at Mulberry, we learned that Chef's Toys had never registered our protection plan with Mulberry or transferred the necessary funds for our warranty. We attempted to follow up with Raul but received no response until we escalated our concerns to Chef's Toys' corporate office. Unfortunately, reaching out to their main line at 714-662-2433 during business hours of M-F between 9am-5pm only led to a voicemail, and our emails through their website also went unanswered. This is TERRIBLE! Resolution and Lingering Frustrations Eventually, Raul from Chef's Toys responded and offered a courtesy repair for our refrigerator door but informed us that our remaining warranty coverage would not be honored. This was frustrating, as we had already paid for the warranty. During this period, on March 25, the Health Department visited and deducted points from our inspection due to the non-functional equipment. We promptly notified Raul about the urgency, as another inspection was scheduled for April 6. Fortunately, the Health Department accepted our communication with Raul and a photo of the completed repair as proof. The entire process--from the breakdown on March 6 to the repair on April 6--took a full month. This delay was disappointing, especially given that waiting for a part should not have justified such a lengthy timeline; someone could have delivered the part to expedite the repair.
