Kitchen Land is exactly as it sounds, you can find nearly anything and everything you'd need in your kitchen. You roam the aisles freely as you find more things you might need, but certain things on display can be taken to the register and they will get you a brand new one packaged to take home. Items are fairly priced, not too cheap and not too expensive. We were able to purchase a steamer pot after checking out the different types and sizes they had. read more

For all your kitchen needs, come to Kitchen Land! The Korean markets are great for your food ingredients but Kitchen Land is your island hub for all things needed to make your food. The original owners may have retired. Not sure if now their sons are taking over or sold the business but I feel like the service has gotten better. It's a plus that they now include English with their Korean languages and they know the shop from corner to corner, wall to wall. It's just as packed as ever, just now super organized and not as overwhelming as it has been. They're right on the corner in the parking lot on the same side as Arirang. I came in specifically for food grade bags to make kimchi but was curious about the split hotpots. My friends and I had a hotpot night recently and when we did our food shopping at Zion and Hmart, we couldn't justify spending $34 on their split hotpot. Next time, definitely gonna grab one of their pots! Their $34 value one, is the hefty pot that has a thick wall- exponentially better looking and more sturdy than the Kmart ones. OH. MY. GOSH!! This is a GREAT store! A few doors down from Arirang Korean Market. Aisles & aisles jam packed with items. If you watch Korean dramas & have seen them cooking or eating you can find those cooking vessels, ceramic casseroles, cooking utensils, dishes, eating utensils, rice cookers, Zojirushi thermos's. I was so excited, I felt like I walked into a cooks' Disneyland! Seriously! Had my mother in law with me, so I couldn't spend the hour perusing every aisle like I wanted. Did manage to pick up soup spoons (round like an American version but a longer handle). Chinese soup spoons can have too much liquid, but these with a longer handle work our great. Need to pick up the small stove top casseroles for individual tofu stew next time. This place really is amazing. Come here before you head to Arirang market since you don't want your groceries sitting in the car. Just leave enough room for your groceries! read more

Omg! I found the hangari I've been searching for online (Amazon, Etsy, eBay) and in Korea. WAAAAAAY cheaper here than online. Even purchased a grill and little soy sauce dishes. The couple working at the store was super helpful and friendly. They spoke almost perfect English so communication wasn't a problem. Inventory is extensive so you'll have a blast looking through everything and planning your next trip back for more goodies to buy. Don't be intimidated and just come to get the best products at really good prices. The good: This is a Korean house supply store with items for more than just the kitchen (i.e. bathroom too). I came here and bought toothpicks and several pairs of house slippers (they had many to choose from). Prices were really fair or cheap for everything. House slippers ranged from $5-10. The store is well kept and organized. I found many Asian kitchen supplies like soup spoons, a green onion slicer, noodle sieves and more. The bad: They didn't have any disposable buffet chafing dish tray holders or sternos burners. For the women's house slippers, there seemed to mostly only be two sizes (6-7, 8-9 ish). The interesting: Everything is stacked very high in the store. They definitely take advance of every wall space and their vertical vaulted ceilings. read more

It's very tight inside but has great asian cooking essentials including plastic gloves, tableware, and rice cookers. The prices are alright, but really great for like cutlery. Omggg went to both H-Mart and Tokyo Central hunting for a large ceramic clay pot (an onggi pot) before landing at this place thanks to my korean MIL's infinite wisdom (thank Jesus for mom's forreal!!) who told us this place would for sure have it. And have it they did! We're going maesil (plum) picking for the very short plum season and need this pot to make delicious syrup and wine out of it. They have all sorts of Korean kitchen goods here, and if you can't find it elsewhere you're likely to find it here! It's really tight and the aisles are narrow, but they really packed this place with stuff. The employees are extremely helpful and nice too!! Thank you Kitchen Land for saving us! read more

If you have time to browse this place is a pretty neat place to spend some time in. Kitchen Land reminds me of one of those stores in Chinatown with a little of everything for your kitchen, home and bathroom. From cutlery to crockery to cookware, there is a load of stuff just piled in here to go through. Most of the stuff is made in China so the quality isn't all that great, but I really like those ceramic bowls with the suction lids to keep kimchi in so the aromas don't waft into the other foods you have in your refrigerator. They also sell a bunch of appliances, namely rice cookers. There were some really funky looking rice cookers in there you wouldn't see elsewhere. The brand name didn't register either. read more

Great small store packed from wall to wall with lots of random kitchen items. We were looking for rice cookers and found a good number of them here. The owner lady was really nice and helpful describing every option they had very patiently, without pushing a sale. Her son was also extremely helpful and I appreciated that he gave objective pros and cons to each model, recommending a rice cooker in the lower price point as his top pick, instead of persuading us to buy the latest and greatest and most expensive. Cramped store, sells various home goods. I was specially looking for Korean mink blankets, and happened to walk by this store on accident while checking out the neighboring supermarket. Very happy to discover that they have a lot of blankets in various sizes & designs by Solaron. It's a bit crowded here and the isles are a bit narrow but it's neat and clean. They pretty much have everything for the kitchen here but you have to be aware that's not the best quality. However, the prices are cheap/reasonable and the number of different things they sell here is mind boggling. It's a great place to pick up a few things here and there but I would go somewhere else if you need an item of top quality (like a knife or pots/pants). I went here and bought my clay/stone pot to make some Korean tofu soup and it only cost $5.99 for a pretty good sized pot. I can put it directly over my stove and it can handle direct heat. This store is jam-packed with lots of kitchen gadgets and ware. It is not a big store and there is a ton of stuff so be warned that the aisles are very narrow - do not bring in a stroller. I love coming here at the start of the school year to check out new lunch gear. Well, all of my lunch gear still are still in great condition, but I just like to update my stuff. :) The aisles are tight but all of the shelves are jam packed with kitchen goodness. My favorite brand of foods container is Lock 'n Lock. Kitchen Land has quite possibly the largest selection of the stuff I've ever seen. Think of Best Buy meets Target meets Williams Sonoma meets Daiso all condensed within an efficient boutique type store. Amazing finds at extremely competitive prices. They do have wonderful imported kitchen wares from China and Korea. The Korean stuff is pricier but better quality. I picked up a tea pot, all metal except the picker upper thing on the lid that has a mesh piece for the tea. Awesome. Couldn't find this at any American store. Bought some rice bowls, again unlocatable at an American store. Also found those nifty metal water cups that you see in Korea in the sterilizer cabinets. And some huge stainless steel bowls which are great for mixing big batches of meatloaf or bringing food out to the chickens. And a big stone pot. I found out that you need to boil salted water in them before using and then boil salted water to keep them clean (translated by my Korean mom.) The peeps are right -- the man is really nice and he wanted to give me a free apron but the woman is stingy and yelled at the man not to. I was fine with getting $2 off but she didn't have to be so stingy about it. Would definitely come back here again. read more

My dad went there on Saturday and made a small purchase. After walking out, he realized he needed to exchange the size. They are different prices.. we are not arguing the amount because the amount is insignificant. However, the owner told my dad that since the price is the same he could just take the other size. the place is cramped and crowded...plus HOT with no ventilation i hate that. i understand it but i hate it. i always come by here to pick up the random knick knacks i need or have broke at home...like a meat grill, tupperwear, rubber gloves for dishes, the baking soda hippo thing, random chopsticks etcetc... today i needed to pick up a ladle since it broke. i go in and they only have 2 sizes of the plastic ones and i wanted a bigger/longer one. as i ask the lady she snaps that thats the only one..that woman is ALWAYS giving attitude every single time!!! while the man is nice. anyways i go to pay and they are helping a customer who's buyin like 50 tea sets or something so when she finally saw me @ the register shes gives me a .."oh...u want to buyyyy that??" this is a major problem with koreans. koreans dont understand how to run a business...no customer is LESS then another... what my $2 today isnt good enough for you?? becuz ur making a big sale today...?? ...look lady shes there once if u lose me over this $2 product u lose a life customer... good day. good life. byebye read more
