Twig tables
Katie B.

Stumbled across this place after getting Shabu with my girlfriends next door. Super cute place offering home decor and trinkets for $25 or less. Love the esthetic inside- clean, minimalistic, zen like. Most pieces are of wood or marble, mostly made in Thailand. Got myself a "twig table" but planning to use it as an ottoman or base for my plant. Female staff was friendly and helpful.

Very aesthetically pleasing but not that big of space or inventory

I think I can sum this place up pretty concisely, but let's give Goodies its flowers where it is due. Goodies has done an amazing job making the small space feel interesting and drawing you in. The use of golden yellow for the walls, wood for their shelves, and a succulent zen garden in the middle of their showroom gives this space a unique, boutique feel. The design feels very much like museum displays or the celebrity owned highly curated small clothing stores of Rodeo Drive. The aesthetic is everything. However, just like those stores this place is scarce in variety and instead focuses on the quality of its limited inventory. Everything they sell is $25 or less and all of it can be considered stylish and easily used to plus up the decor of someone's home. But outside of basic kitchenware, wooden stools, and wooden ladders for decoration this place will be a literal 5 minute walk around if nothing catches your eye. If you're in the area, Goodies is worth checking out. If you're not, the drive won't be worth your time.

The interior of the store took me by surprise; it's a gorgeous showroom filled with lots of...goodies! Everything was curated and under $25. If the showroom matches your aesthetic, it's very likely you'll walk away with something. -1 star because the selection and variety varies completely on how recently you've visited since their last restock.

Fun spot and the perfect unique gifts! Helpful staff and new stock all the time! My go to for quick gifts.

Cute modern shop with quality products. Bowls and plates are priced $18-22, while serving bowls are $25. Chopsticks and spoons are $5-$10. The vases and larger items obviously sell out first.

Love this place. Came here the other day for the first time with my gf. Everything is $25 or less. Not pictured, I got a really sick, heavy onyx bowl which I now have on my bedside table with all my nighttime skin routine products in it. I also have this wooden bowl on my coffee table but I intend to use it at my next apartment as a catch all for keys and sunglasses and what not. This concept is such a simple and good idea. More stores with reasonable prices should come around. Most items you pick up in this store would easily be 2 to 3X the price elsewhere. Also the chick who was working last Sunday was super nice.

Great quality products all under $25!! I love that their selection is thoughtfully curated and easy to browse. The most overwhelming thing about decor stores is when there are just too many things to pick from so I appreciate a store like this that has all been curated and is all one style. Their top sellers like vases and stools and ladders sell out quick so check on their Instagram for when they have those available for pre-order/if they have them in store!

My happy place!! I'm a tad obsessed with homeware shopping and Goodies makes it so easy to indulge. They have great minimalistic pieces. Love the wood and marble themes they have going on. From practical things to just things you buy for their sheer cuteness, there's something for everyone. The best part? Everything's $25 and under! Truly thriving on a budget.

Pretty!

Such a cute place to shop for little things like candles, mugs and jewelry holders. Everything is so nicely placed and the employee working there was so kind! From what I saw everything was below $25! All the items sold are such good quality for that price!

The middle age lady that works here is a fake Christian who only cares about making money…read more Today I visited the store. I wore some new shoes which I bought to help with my bum leg\foot, so my limp and gait were more pronounced than usual. As I walk around, this middle age lady comes out the back, greets me and starting talking to the other older woman employee. Before you know, it I start hearing the younger woman suddenly start talking about her uncle who is disabled with a bad leg. She goes on to say that he was in discomfort for a long time, particulary his foot, but that it's all suddenly better now. I thought that was weird but as I kept listening, I noticed that she would say certain buzzwords like "I mean..." and "I don't know..." and "you know..." and "this guy..." Strangely, she said "this guy is so small" a few times while talking about an inventory item. Later she started telling the other woman that she had a near photographic memory. (She asked the woman to quiz her on the price of an item, which she got wrong 2 times and finally guessed correctly on the 3rd try which I thought was funny). Anyway, I soon realized that she is trying to fake synchronicity to lure the customer into making a purchase. Her MO became clear as day. She studies and watches the customers coming in and then begins a conversation with the other employees regarding something she notices (makes a read on) about the customer or perhaps overhears the customers talking about to make the customer think that the "coincidence" is a spiritual sign. The shop is clean and tidy, but it's mostly cheap mass produced art work or knick knacks that is marked up 500%. The older lady is actually very sweet and I get the feeling she just gets taken advantage of by the younger woman. Stay away from this fake Christian place! Even if Jesus came back and walked through the doors, that lady wouldn't recognize him and try to make a sale to him.

First off, this store has beautiful items available. I'm not a big home goods person, but as soon…read moreas I started scrolling through the website (which is very easy to navigate) I knew that I was going to have an incredible experience just browsing. In this particular day I was looking for a very last minute gift; a good quality matcha set. When I googled my options for same day pick up this store stood out to me. The set they had posted on the site looked beautiful. In addition to looks, the description said it was imported and handcrafted in Japan. There was a disclaimer about how the actual product in store might differ from site because all items were unique due to them being made to order by hand (to me that sounds like a great thing). I looked up the address and decided to take a forty minute trip. When I arrived at the store it was just as I suspected! I could not get my eyes off all their items. Rugs, jewelry, pillows, matcha sets, even the stuffed animals! Pricing is more than your typical run to a Target, but in my opinion you get what you pay for and these items were definitely worth their price. Their inventory very clearly reflects quality and are sure to be conversation starters for friends and family. Finally I made my decision on an incredible looking set and I approached Dean at the register (worker at that time). He was very kind and informative to whatever questions I had. He carefully packaged my item and even decorated the bag a bit since I mentioned to him I was going to be gifting the set. Soon after admiring all their items I was on my way home. Unfortunately things do happen and When I got back to my place I checked my email and I had one from Dean. He politely let me know that the spoon for the set had been left behind at the store. To be honest, I probably would have never even noticed this mishap, but he was upfront and honest about it. I told him that I had left the area already. He asked if I would like to have the item shipped, but then I reminded him that the set was going to be gifted that very same night. In order to save me the hassle of driving back Dean actually delivered the item to my place in Long Beach (from Newport!) after he got off work. I mean, wow, that speaks volumes about Dean. He was incredibly apologetic about everything the whole time and that meant a lot to me. Dean made the drive to me, we met up, he apologized again sincerely, and my gift was a huge success that evening. In this day and age costumer service has been in decline for a while. I notice this whenever I interact with anybody outside of home, but definitely not H+E Goods. This business is top notch from top to bottom. Even on their "bad" days they are leagues ahead of most businesses out there on their good days. H+E Goods, thank you for the amazing experience. Dean, if you read this, thanks so much once again for your time and I look forward to my next visit.

This place is full of treasures--textiles, rugs, ceramics, and all kinds of one-of-a-kind finds that bring warmth and style to any space. I've seen a lot of shops, but few match the level of taste and authenticity that H+E brings. The vibe is relaxed, the staff is welcoming, and everything feels curated with love and purpose. You won't just be buying decor--you'll be taking home a piece of culture and artistry. Highly recommend checking them out, either in-store or online!
