TRUE upscale starts from the beginning to the END of the sales experience. It gets better... Aesthetically pleasing store if you're into the upscale beach vibe "thing" for your home. Initially, service was wonderful, a pleasant lady asked if I needed any help. Found a lamp yay! Nice discount yay! Pay. They plop it into a CLEAR trash bag. I walk out with said bag. I see black dirt all over the cream shade. Walk back in. Uhh... excuse me I think you gave me a dirty bag. Lady started making an excuse...but no go because it's OBVIOUS the bag literally had dirt in it. No matter! They'll just use sticky tape to pick up the dirt from the shade and put it ANOTHER trashbag. PLUS, they took out the bulb that was already in the socket. Cheap much? Lol!!! I was dying laughing because I walked to Main Beach where my husband was waiting, all the while carrying a giant black trash bag like an off- season Santa sourcing stuff from the 'hood. Smitten, surprisingly was open and very inviting to the eye. Let me tell you, this little place is a gem. There are so many cute items that make you say awww or that's cool. I always find something I love, whether it's a sculptural piece of furniture, layered textiles, or just a small accent that makes a space feel more "me." The team is lovely -- super helpful without being pushy. You can tell the owner really cares about creating something special, not just selling stuff. Every piece feels curated and intentional, not mass-produced. We picked up a few things for our new home, and they've honestly become some of our favorite pieces. My wife and I also had a great conversation with the woman who owns the store with her husband. We spoke about lots of things, including her sensible policy regarding phones. My wife bought an interesting and unusual book about artists, which was being sold for a good price. The only photo I can share is the outside of the store. The owners aren't comfortable with people taking photos of the inside of their store and we respected that. We'll happily return the next time we're in the area.
