This is my go to gift store. I just love the quality of all of their home products. They have a gorgeous designer, jewelry lines as well, which is very pretty, but I love their candles, their earth, and Ware and all of the sweet cards. If you're looking for something specific for Laguna Beach, this is a place you really need to head into from ornaments to framed artwork, stationary, and coasters. My friends and I were getting ready to go home when we dropped by Tuvalu. The home decor selection is great and the pieces are just really beautiful, it was shortly after Christmas so there was quite a bit of Christmas decor which happened to be an additional 50% off. I love myself a deal and tried my hardest to find some cute Christmas baubles, I ended up finding the cutest little Santa in baseball gear. The cashier was super friendly she was wrapped up my bauble in some bubble wrap to ensure it's safety on the trek home. My bestie ended up finding a couple of pieces for himself and our totals were really low, I think my bauble was around $8 maybe less. read more

A fun store to browse through, especially if you enjoy the holidays, beach and coastal decor, and hosting parties. If I had to guess, the target demographic here is for upscale mid-aged women who like to open their home for celebratory events, people who like to give quality gifts and show-off, or someone like me who is just curious and wants to browse. Prices reflect my sarcasm statement. The messages on these hand towels for the kitchen are a stitch. Sharing for a laugh! read more

Showroom - beach or surf city upperclassman vibe. Love this place!! Something to aim for for when it comes to style and place to afford. Service - helpful ladies Inventory - some small items are ready for purchase while the big and bulky items have to be arranged for delivery. Verdict - if you can afford this place and affluent enough, it's a great place if it fits to your style read more

I wanted to purchase a $35 book and presented a hundred dollar bill. The woman put her hands up and said she wouldnt be able to give me change. It was more her demeanor than it was the inability to make the change. Realistically, this is a store front in a tourist town. I felt it not friendly. read more

By far the best home decor shop! It's my go to place when finding gifts. It's also my favorite store to shop for our home.

I've been a customer of Tuvalu"SAN CLEMENTE" for 3 years now... the ingredients that make this store work is Melissa and great merchandise . .. Melissa has always been there for not only me but so many others that walk thru the door. She's so knowledgeable about decor and just provides the absolute best customer service ... at Christmas time, the "make and take" wreaths.. I'm so incompetent when it comes to putting things together... she took the bull, by the horns and did it for me. She didn't have to but she wanted to. Again, it's just not me but I've seen her treat so many others with such knowledge & kindness and she makes everyone feel welcomed. Btw: The new set looks phenomenal!!! Service, selection and value !!! read more

Lovely gift shop for beach chic goods and décor. It really is so much more than that as well though. Whenever I need a gift for someone who has everything (mainly women) or if I am looking for something unique and adorable that says "Laguna Beach", I come here. If had all the cash in the world, I would have their visual merchandiser decorate my home with the same things that decorate the store. It's all just so perfectly imperfect and easy, breezy, stylish and beachy. I wish I could live there... I used to live just down the street and simply walking by makes me smile. I have purchased books, necklaces, candles, décor, and more here. Sure it might be cheaper from an online store somewhere else or etc, but that really is not the point. When you shop here you support the heart of a small business. I don't know how often they get new inventory items or how re-ordering stock works but I have realized that if you don't see exactly what you want, you should ask and the lovely people who work here will check to see if they have what suits you. On the other hand, if you see something you love and are on the fence, get it. Life is short, these items are treasures and its really unlikely you will see it there again. If Laguna Beach were to be summed up in a shop, this would be it. Go and spend a little time in there and you'll get to know Laguna Beach a little more than you did before you came. read more

We always drop in here when we are in Laguna to browse the inventory of home goods and seem to always find something that catches our eye for our home. Recently dropped in to buy Mother's Day gifts and purchased 5 stemless wine glasses. They went out of their way to carefully package each wine glass in a separate bag with a bow. Amazing and friendly service! read more

A must stop for me every time in Laguna Beach. I enjoy walking around and checking out their things. I always find something cute and fun. They carry a lot of items for the home and some cute jewelry as well. Love the cookbook selection a lot. Overall a lovely store with prices on the higher side but they carry a lot of unique items. the only reason I'm giving it a 1 star is because of it's inventory - their customer service (or desperate need of) deserves zero. my daughter & i went into their Laguna beach location earlier this week - we were the only customers in the store - there were 2 employees, both of whom never greeted us, never acknowledged us, just stayed behind the counter on their computers (even when we walked right in front of them) - what ever happened to: "hi, welcome - anything we can help you with???". i have purchased many items both at this location, at their San Clemente & at the Ladera (before that one closed) - i have purchased furniture, artwork, jewelry, etc... ... ... sad to say my loyalty has ended - seems as though they don't value their customers ... remember, you just never know who is in the market to make purchases. i hope owner/management reads this ... your employees need a refresher class in customer service. read more

I provided a very accurate a detailed review of this stores rude associates and a deceptive practice of l listing items on their webpage that direct customers to call to order. when you call they tell you that the webpage is old and that the price they advertise is wrong and then provide a different and higher price than listed. I read reviews before posting mine and it seems a lot of people experience the same with this store, that was once friendly. Nonetheless, read all the reviews, but buyer beware when they remove their website to reset negative reviews. Bottom line is that is unfair and unethical, they were called on it and now they are upset because they were caught. read more

Foof-o-rama. This is a big store of nothing you really need. It's all objects meant to accessorize your home. Pillows and sock monkeys, crosses made of seashells, scented candles and more candles. Decorative objects made of glass. A table of quirky books. A few unique furnishings too. Prices are not cheap. There are several stores like this within a 3-block radius and this is probably the largest and has the most varied selection. If you are in need of unusual and unique knick-knacks, this is the place to shop. Or if you are a husband, it's a great place to stand outside and wait for your wife. read more

I got a great deal on a gorgeous and unique coffee table that is exactly what I was looking for at the Tuvalu warehouse sale. The sales team was all so nice and incredibly helpful even with throngs of shoppers. Their team delivered today (for half the price of my usual independent delivery guy) and they couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They took great care placing my item in the perfect spot. I'll keep shopping the Tuvalu brick and mortar stores and the warehouse sales for sure! My table is perfect! read more

I used to shop here all the time for things for my home, but they have gone way overboard on their pricing. A simple small pillow that isn't that special $200!!! Tuvalu is a high end home furnishings house on Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, Ca. It offers home furniture and décor in an attractive setting. Lots of antiqued woods and interesting glass pieces. Prices are not as bad as could be expected from the captive artistry that is Laguna Beach, and the sales service is mellow and informative. Def a fun place to shop if you are into accent pieces for your home. I saw several things that attracted my attention, but due to the fragility of some items, and the need to pack and transport back to Philadelphia, I finally opted for a nicely aged wood frame for photographs. It now sits on the night table next to my bed with one of my favorite pics within. Perfect as a gift. Wrapped with a smile. If I was a local, several other Tuvalu choices would be in chez moi. The coastal/southwestern accent suits me well. read more

We came here while at the beach the other day, mainly since we found easy metered parking right out front. Service was very nice and I absolutely loved all the decor items they have for the house! Very wealthy beach vibe items, very much like Laguna itself. Were the prices not as high I would have gone wild, but I kept it simple with a huge cast iron mermaid doorstop while I love, it makes me smile every time I walk by, worth it already. Yes a doorstop for over $100 is insane, but it makes me happy and remember the day at the beach, so it was very well worth it and will last forever! Worth stopping in while in the area, I'll be back when I am in Laguna again! read more

Super super cute shop. They have a lot of things to decorate your home, and things that would make really greats gifts. Parking is really tight in Laguna, but we were lucky enough to snag a meter. I saw one paid lot near by, but it was pricey. In response to Diane R"s one star review, I was also in the store that day. They did (nicely) ask her to wear a mask and she said, "I can't wear a mask - I'm sick." I moved further away while the sales person continued to help her. She didn't say anything about asthma! Anyhow, Diane I'm also a SC resident and I don't necessarily like wearing a mask, but if the store says to wear one, put one on. If you can't, send someone else to do your shopping or buy it online. It's what we have to do right now and you are not being helpful by bashing and making personal insults about employees just doing their job and trying to protect their own health. Let's support small businesses in our town. Btw, I love Tuvalu and we are blessed to have this amazing store in our town. read more
