I ended up checking a dozen stores and spent literally hours looking for the right thing until I broadened my search to include the OC. WAS I GLAD I DID! Susan listened to what I was looking for and I could tell by her confidence and calmness that this was going to be a piece of cake for her. I emailed her pictures of the candle sticks, she called me right back, gave me some advice and I placed the order right then and there. That said, I've been utterly disappointed by the customer service on multiple visits. On one occasion, I asked a question and later realized I was speaking with the owner (I recognized her from Instagram). She came across as very dismissive and annoyed that I was asking for help. On at least three other visits, I've had similar experiences with staff seeming irritated or put out when I asked questions or wanted to check out, but that shouldn't surprise me because culture is set from the top. I've tried giving them several chances because I really do love their products, but the customer experience has consistently been off-putting. I hope they stay around and just improve their outlook on their customers.
