I browsed a bit, took stock in things I'd like, but mentally checked myself that I wasn't there for me However, the sales woman on shift was not friendly. No, welcome or can I help. As a former Nordstrom buyer, great customer service is just ingrained in you. Seems the sales lady took one look at my attire (shop/store uniform) and apparently wrote me off, it was clear as day. When I stopped to ask her if she could suggest something for my younger daughter, where I might find something stylish for a 15/16yo. She suggested 'maybe Old Navy or Target'. Hmmmm....ya know that scene in Pretty Woman - BIG MISTAKE, HUGE!!! Never judge a book by its cover. Coming straight from my store I realize I may not have looked the part to her, but to have an employee make ANY customer/potential client 'feel' they might be in the wrong place, it's not how I would want any of my employees to act. My bank account and I got back into my RR and drove to River Walk. Free People store there was more than happy to help me purchase a few tops, pants and accessories.

She pulls out their tissue paper and puts it next to the stain and it's literally the exact same color. Apparently her manager said there is no way that happened. I was pulling up my receipt and it was clear they were in no way willing to help me resolve my issue. My $70 sweater with their tags still attached is ruined - clearly didn't have the stains when I bought it and after being wrapped in their tissue paper for a few days, it did. I said, it doesn't appear that you're going to do anything as she was hiding in the room talking to her manager on the phone about it. And so I was sent away with a brand new sweater ruined by their "non bleeding" magic tissue paper. Every store in laguna carries the same products so I will for sure be giving my business to another one.
