best kept secret! This store is in an oddball location but they stock so many great things. I pop in there on a regular basic, they always have something cute. The brands they carry tend to be on the pricey side but they'll always have a good range. I bought a pair of shorts and dressy tank top for my wife. I didn't pay attention to the price before buying, and got sticker shock at the register. Overpriced to say the least, but that's fine; however, that's not what irritated me... The salesperson conveniently did not mention their store policy, which is to refuse refunds and only issue store credit. So, when I came back next day to tell the store owner that the newly purchased garments did not fit my wife (needed a size 0, instead of a 2), and that I requested a refund, she said they do not refund purchases. What am I to do if they do not have my wife's size, and that there's nothing else in the store that interests her? Now, I'm a business owner myself. If you have to resort to a no refund policy, it's that your gross sales aren't that great to begin with - it's akin to holding your customer's money hostage...poor business practice and very unfair to the customer. So, I will be disputing the charge, and also warning our friends about this shady and deceptive business practice. Any business who pays more attention to their bottom line than customer satisfaction is, in my opinion, not worthy of being in business in the first place. read more

This is a fab little boutique that I have shopped in over the years. Prices are high (for me anyway) but I just scored a cute little maxi dress on sale here. The location is in Crystal Cove Promenade near Javier's. The sales help have always been sweet, even when I've just been looking around and not buying anything. Millie offers California casual cool items including maxi dresses, sweaters, some cute jewelry, hats and sandals depending on the season. If I could I could easily build my closet around the entire store. I once saw Kobe's wife in here years ago when her daughter was just a baby. read more

I started shopping here about 15 years ago when they opened in Newport Coast. I was so thrilled when they moved closer to me and in such close proximity to Gelson's. It has such a wide range of great boutique clothing. The buyer has great taste and I have found so many items for myself and for gifts that I have to really watch what I spend here. The Coastal Accents store that is now attached has really rad decor items. I have to really thank the owner for having her shop in South County. Otherwise, I would be driving quite a ways to find some of her more unique items. (Like the great Kirsten Ash pendants and Chan Luu beaded bracelets.) She is also ahead of the game when it comes to denim, often years ahead...I was buying AG and Paige from her WAY back in the day before it was at any department store. Furthermore, I like that she takes the chance on smaller apparel companies that seem untested. I would much rather spend my money on trying something new than something that has been around forever. read more

If I could give a zero, I would! I had a horrible experience here. I bought a few items, one of which I decided to return. I tried to return this item two days after my purchase. I was not told that I could only get a refund at the time of purchase. A woman approached me while I was trying to return the item and told me "if I want to return items, I should shop at Neiman Marcus, not a boutique." She then asked where I lived. I said across the street. She said, "Good, then it's easy for u to come back and spend the refund." I asked her, "who are you, the owner?" She said, "Yes, I am." She shook her head in disgust at me and told me, "if u want to dispute the charge, try and call your bank. I had one man two years ago that tried to, but the banks wouldn't do it. It says on my receipts, "no returns."" I told her " u get the receipt after the fact. I'm not a mind reader!!!!" I then went home, called my bank, and started the dispute. An hour later I received an email from my bank saying the dispute was settled and I had my money back. The owner is awful!!! I am glad I found this out before I started spending more money here and supporting this pathetic establishment. read more

This boutique has great clothes and the owner is so nice. I returned a gift and she totally worked with me. She is super flexible and that is hard to find these days. The other ladies who work in the store are nice too. They have great home accessories as well. I highly recommend it. read more
