I'm parked on a winery patio next to The Cove, nursing a glass of something bold while my wife disappears into what I can only assume is a portal to fashion nirvana. I don't question it. She emerges happy, and that's all that matters. But here's the thing--The Cove isn't just another beach-town boutique. It's an anomaly. A lone wolf. A place that, by all rights, should be in a hip LA district or some high priced shopping mecca, not wedged between surf shops and dime-a-dozen fast fashion joints. Yet, here it stands, holding its own. I don't pretend to understand women's casual fashion, but even I can recognize quality when I see it. High-end labels. Carefully curated pieces. Stuff that doesn't scream "I bought this off a clearance rack at a strip mall." This is where the sharp-dressed, boho-chic crowd comes to play. A word to the wise: if you see something you like, buy it. Boutique shopping is a cruel mistress--wait too long, and that perfect piece will be gone, never to return. (Discovered on more than one occasion) So if you (or your better half) have a taste for fashion that's actually worth the price tag, The Cove is the move. Me? Super cute boutique, lots of name brands which isn't the case at most the spots in the area. Staff is always friendly and never pushy.

This is the best boutique in San Clemente! The selection of high quality items is amazing. The best brands and always a new selection available. They also have the cutest accessorties. The customer service here is poor and as a resident of San Clemente who has supported this business for years, along with other family members, I am sorry to feel the need to express my concern. On Oct 8, 2024, I visited the store and was very disappointed with the customer service and lack of care by its employees. It's very sad that at a time small businesses are struggling, I would expect better service to returning customers, and customers in general. It's also unfortunate because they carry some of my fav designers, but now I will resort to online shopping. The employees need some customer service training and to appreciate the paying customer. read more

Cute little beachy, boho store in downtown San Clemente. I was looking for a specific item that it said they had online and so I called to see if they would hold it for me before driving all the way down there. The sales girl could not have been nicer and had my dress waiting for me behind the register when I arrived. They had tons of other cute necklaces, sunglasses, etc so I had to get out of there quick before I spent more money! The whole area is so cute, I will definitely be back and stay longer this time. Tons of similar little shops and cute restaurants. Parking kind of sucks in this area though so plan on parking elsewhere & having to walk. read more

I love this little gem of a boutique! The girls who work here are sweet and very helpful. They are HONEST and take the time to help me find the most flattering clothes for my body type. Great selection of one of a kind jackets by Raga and Cupcakes and Cashmere and more. I love my easy summer dresses by Splendid and Amuse Society. Great selection of Michael Stars staple tanks. And the small but mighty selection of denim is to die for! Honestly the best jeans! Great Paige denim! I love shopping here because you find cute stuff that you don't see at the mall. read more

This is a really cool and chic store in downtown San Clemente on Del Mar. It's locally owned and operated and they also sell online (they have a first time user discount code when you go to their site, woohoo!). They sell really well curated items of clothes, shoes, accessories and other fun things like cards/signs. Their items aren't super pricey, but not cheap. Their clothes are really cute and most people should be able to find something they like. They have given me good customer service when I have visited also! read more

The Cove is my favorite shop in San Clemente! They always greet me with a smile and are excited to help me find the right outfit. The Cove has high end clothing brands, accessories and beautiful jewelry. They have helped me on multiple occasions finding the right styles for business meetings,weddings or a night on the town. Cove has become my go to store for everything from casual beach clothing to the perfect dress for a night out on the town. They have great brands that a lot of boutiques don't carry and it helps that I don't have to get on a freeway to a crowded mall to find something great to wear out. Recently, they also started carrying Minnie Rose, my favorite brand of cashmere! I was recently there trying to find something to wear to a dinner dance that I was dreading going to and the salesgirl brought me close to a dozen dresses to try on. Loved, loved, LOVED my experience at COVE!!!!! I took my sister here to buy her some birthday presents and couldn't believe the selection of designers they had to choose from. Everything from Free People to Michael Stars to Paige Denim. Laura, was the sweetest and most patient person to help us, and I give her 5 Stars on her customer service and knowledge of the brands. I recently went to Cove to get a bachelorette gift for my sister and everything about the experience was amazing. I have since been back multiple times because the customer service was AWESOME, the selection was incredible, and regardless of your budget, there is an incredible option. I had such an incredible experience that I have returned there several times for basics (my FAVORITE white tank top) and other incredible pieces. I not only love the people that are in the store, but I also so appreciate the quality and the selection of clothing! Another amazing part about shopping at Cove is that you can literally shop for women of all different ages/styles because there is something for everyone! I even purchased the birthday card for my mom there! :) Again, all around , the most amazing experience! Laura and Kylie are my favorite in regards to being a personal shopper!
