She emerges happy, and that's all that matters. But here's the thing--The Cove isn't just another beach-town boutique. It's an anomaly. A lone wolf. A place that, by all rights, should be in a hip LA district or some high priced shopping mecca, not wedged between surf shops and dime-a-dozen fast fashion joints. Yet, here it stands, holding its own. I don't pretend to understand women's casual fashion, but even I can recognize quality when I see it. High-end labels. Carefully curated pieces. Stuff that doesn't scream "I bought this off a clearance rack at a strip mall." This is where the sharp-dressed, boho-chic crowd comes to play. A word to the wise: if you see something you like, buy it. Boutique shopping is a cruel mistress--wait too long, and that perfect piece will be gone, never to return. (Discovered on more than one occasion) So if you (or your better half) have a taste for fashion that's actually worth the price tag, The Cove is the move. Me? Love love love Melrose in the OC. I only live a few blocks away and the store get some new styles every week so it can be kind of dangerous for me, ha ha. The sales associates are very friendly and helpful. My personal favorite is Catherine.
