This is a higher end thrift shopping experience. Brand names which I only hear of I am not a brand name shopper. For well named brands I thought the prices for a lot of the merchandise was priced fair. Everything displayed is beautiful. I was drawn to the many orange colored blouses they had on the racks. They had beautiful shoes, belts, purses and jewelry. Even the floors were beautiful! The store is well organized and clean. The service was friendly and helpful. I love the name of the place too, how perfect. I would definitely return to this store. Especially if I knew ahead of time I had somewhere fancy to go to! Cute spot. One of the better resale /consignment shops I have ever visited. Handbags galore Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tina Turk, Coach and tons of Kate Spade. Great shoes and accessories. Racks of upscale and designer clothing. Some of the clothing has minor soil or imperfections. I found some of the handbags to be over priced since they definitely show their age and use. Updating this because the response from the business was simply a lie. 1. My items were labeled in four different totes, two for each person. I asked the woman helping us if that was good enough and she assured me it was. She taped a paper on top of each to distinguish who's was who's. So that is on you. 2. I shouldn't have been told to pick it up the next day if your turn around is that long. 3 I have proof of when I dropped off vs when I was told to pick up. I'll add those conversations :) 4. I saw, with my own eyes, the bag placed into one of your black plastic totes with the holes in it, with no protection, which infuriated me. It was not cared for and after seeing your back room, it doesn't seem like much is. The bag is damaged simply because of your carelessness. It never made it to the selling floor because I called immediately to pick my things up when I received your email. I appreciate your response, but don't appreciate your dishonesty and lack of accountability. This town is small - a simple apology and resolution could've gone a long way. Word of mouth travels quickly & based on how untruthful your response is, I'll be sure to let people know my experience with your store. I brought clothes to consign on a Saturday. I was told that whatever they didn't take would be ready the next day. It took a week. Then they were closed two days for a holiday but I got a text saying they would donate my stuff if not picked up which gave me a small window. Not a big deal, but annoying. Also frustrating that I had my stuff separated in two different piles, clearly marked under two different names, as I brought a friends as well. I had to fix & reorder it FOUR TIMES. They couldn't find my stuff, it was all thrown together and mixed up several times. As a high end store, get it together. It really wasn't complicated. What I'm pissed about, is that I dropped off a $600 leather bag brand new with tags and in a protective plastic bag. I went back in to get my things that they didn't want, and saw the bag shoved in a plastic tote and they took off the plastic bag. I then received the prices they were going to sell everything for and was shocked. $250 tops they had for $24. I ended up taking everything back because it was simply a waste of time When I got the bag back it is covered in scratches and indents everywhere. It's unsellable now as new condition. Treat people's things with more respect. It's unfortunate because it was a friends bag I was responsible for that I trusted you with, that I now get to pay for. I have been coming to Sweeet Repeeet since it opened over 10 years ago and it is bar none my fav consignment store ever. As a retired flight attendant of 30 years I have traveled the world and in those travels browsed many resale shops but none have I enjoyed more than SR! The merchandising , starting with the window are always super cute and draw you in. The owners, both the original and now daughter are always welcoming and make you feel genuinely glad to be seen . That feeling trickles down to the other ladies who work in the store and it honestly feels like shopping with good friends offering help and suggestions along the way . I recently moved to the San Diego area and still come up once a month to see the gals and get my shopping fix in. I can always count on at least one good find every time I visit (or 10 )!!!!
