I love this market! I have participated in it both as a vendor and a customer. Every time there are unique items and I always always find great gifts and have a fun time shopping. The atmosphere is so rad-- great music and food vendors too. My whole family loves coming--kids and husband too! As a seller, I loved working with Elise. She is super organized and her booth prices are fair. I've sold both inside and outside and it has been my most lucrative market each year I participate. Grab your girlfriends and go! lack of parking, over crowded in a small area. They need to move this to a bigger area that doesn't make it so hard to shop. I feel bad for the vendors paying hundreds for such a bad location. As a business owner I would be angry at the event planner. read more

Unbelievably bad experience vending at this event. Besides that, didn't find anything I wanted to buy! This market SAYS that they are all handmade and juried (makers pay a fee to be juried in), but several people were selling things that were mad produced outside of the US (let's be real -- you can't sell jewelry for $5 otherwise), and there were several multi-level marketers there in the outside booths + non-product based businesses. Of the 10 booths outside, a max of five were handmade. The person putting the event on was really unhelpful -- turned off the music on us and didn't want us to set up lights (even though we still had two more hours of showing!) and generally treated everyone horribly. Even though this market is promoted in a slick way, it is the worst produced market I have ever participated in. I can't say enough what a terrible experience it was (and listen -- even though it was a low revenue producing event, I still made money at it. It just was so bad an unpleasant that it was in no way worth it.) read more

Mermade Market is RAD! I love being able to participate in this sale. It is well marketed and attended and has a great vibe. I love this market! I have been both a vendor and a shopper. It's beautifully curated and there are so many unique finds. I bought my 10 year old daughter a romper there and every time she wears it someone stops to ask me where it's from. As I mentioned, I have also been a vendor. What a wonderful market! I've been a vendor and a customer--both experiences exceeding all expectations. Shopping the event as a customer, I get to browse the goods at my leisure with no sales pitch. It's a completely different shopping experience from other markets I've been to. I love that I can look over the item without distraction. There are always so many unique finds. I try buying for gifts, but end up keeping it all for myself! Eeek! As a vendor, the process of setting up and breaking down is clear and precise. Elise, the organizer, is extremely thorough in her directions. As an indoor vendor, I set up my booth and pick it up at the end of the show. Elise and the team restock my shelves as needed. This market is the best craft market I've been to! The gal that puts it on has an eye for beauty, creativity, and what everyone would love. She does a great job curating and carefully picking some of the best small shops. And I love that many of these shops sell things exclusively at the market--makes it worth going rather than just buying online. The environment is fun--music, food trucks, balloon animals for the kids, happy people (cuz who doesn't love shopping). I love going and supporting small shops--finding unique gifts and things for myself or home that I wouldn't find at any local store. Amazing artists, makers, and small boutique shops.
