Service is great! Their selection is amazing! You can definitely find something for everyone! Lots of cute stuff for yourself and for gifting too! Quality and taste are noticeable. Some items are price but you get what you pay for so it's worth it. I am a big believer in supporting small and local businesses so cheers to Bella for always having stuff that I like. Also for changing it up. Location is awesome I do hope that they decide to keep this place open after the harbor's new upgrades and renovations. Either way if they move I will follow. I really like this store. Tucked away in this Dana Point Harbor shopping center is Bella Bazaar. Whether you're decorating your home or finding unique gifts for friends or family, this store has something for everyone. I thought they had wonderful home decor items. I love the nautical theme, and there's plenty of that here. There are beautiful pieces of art and furniture. I enjoyed looking at all the great pillows, picture frames, candles, and dishes. Shopped there last weekend. Had a wonderful experience and bought 4 masks. The owner was super nice. Wore one mask this week! Loved it so much. Hand washed and hung dried it. I noticed Friday night it was fraying at the piping so I took it back on Saturday and showed the owner and she was very nice about the exchange THEN she was not so nice and clear that if it happened again she would NOT do another exchange. I truly support small businesses most especially during this vulnerable time. I have a heart for small businesses and was literally going to buy more masks BUT after that comment I was disappointed with her customer service. Clearly it was defective. After a week, it frayed. Exchanged it for the same style and I realize why she made it clear because I inspected the item after I left the store and this second one was also fraying. Mind you not as bad as the first one. We were disappointed with how the salesclerk treated us. She stared at us constantly while we were browsing, even walking up behind us and admonishing us for trying to figure out how something worked. She created a very uncomfortable atmosphere for us. She is very friendly and welcoming and quick to answer any questions. She has clothing and home decor, the best hand towels around with the funniest, sayings on them! I bought such a cute hat for a very reasonable price at Bella Bazaar in Dana Point Harbor. I have visited this shop before over the last couple of years when I have had family and friends in town and we explore the Harbor for food and gifts. I just want to give a shout out to Azar at Bella Bazaar. I left my wallet there and panicked a couple of days when I could not find it. But I remembered that the last place I had been to purchase an item was at Bella. I stopped by the store and Azar had found it, and even tried contacting me through Messenger on Facebook over the weekend. My mom and I will eat at The Brig Restaurant and took a walk next door to this unbelievably cool store. Now, we make that the basis in the harbor! They have so many unique items that make awesome gifts or just adding character to your home. The sisters that own it, remember my mom and I every time we come in. Every time I need a unique, artistic but reasonably priced gift the first place I go is Bella Bazaar. I am so glad this store came to the Harbor in Dana Point because most of the other stores are a bit pricey for casual gifts & they don't have the variety. At first, that was the main reason I went there. Over time, I have met the proprietor & employees & look forward to seeing them every time I go to Dana Point, whether I need to pick up a gift or not. Although, I'd be surprised if anyone could walk out of that store without finding something good to buy. My daughter bought me a necklace with a gold starfish pendant from this store for my birthday. The starfish fell off several times but each time I noticed and fixed it back on. And then there was the last time when it plopped straight into the water at the harbor never to be seen again. I went into the store hoping they might be able to get me the starfish as I didn't need another necklace. I brought the identical necklace to the woman behind the counter and when she had finished on her cell phone I asked her if there was any way to replace just the starfish. I was answered with a very rude, "No! Do you want to buy it or not?"I was so taken aback I just left the store and my husband who had overheard the sales woman told her how unprofessional she was. Bella Bazaar totally takes you by surprise because when you drive by it looks like a home decor center because there are so many clay pots outside. Actually, the store is a collection of vendors under one roof. One of my faves is Sofas by Design, which creates custom sofas for really great prices. In the back of the store, there's a women's clothing section that carries great contemporary pieces at a fraction of the cost of a Nordstrom or Bloomies run. Oh, and then there is art, gifts and custom jewelry designs. When you go in, ask to see the Bowl of Ocean. It's very cool and at the sales counter. Everyone I bring to Bella loves it. When I first moved to Dana Point, this was my go to place to help me decorate my house. They have everything from large furniture pieces to smaller accents to art to pottery, you name it. And all the items are so unique and beautiful! I really love the work this place did on my custom sofa! They helped me pick out just the right fabric for my 3 crazy kids something that looks fabulous and kid friendly. It only took them 2 weeks to completely build our custom sofa and deliver. We had it made specifically shaped for our living room and it looks great. I came across Bella Bazaar when I was on a weekend trip with friends. While we were strolling after a beautiful lunch, we decided to just pop in to see what it was about. About 2 hours later and many happy purchases we finally emerged. From the unique jewelry and funky one of a kind pieces of furniture and upholstery, I made a mental note that any time I was in the near vicinity I would make time to return. I found an amazing bag/tote that I use daily and get numerous compliments on and people are still shocked at what I paid for it. The price points are very affordable and the vast unique inventory is fabulous. Every employee I interacted with was helpful, fun and made the experience all the more worth it.
