My daughter and I were walking down the way window shopping when we saw this cute store. My daughter- who is three years old and obsessed with anything pink/ glittery- was so excited when we walked in. It is seriously any little girl's dream. Cute accessories, stuffed animals, small home furnishings. This is the kind of place to get a little girl or even adult who loves pink and sparkles! The employee (I think she was the owner, but I'm not sure) said that they do little crafts. For example, today they were decorating princess crowns. Definitely coming back for that! read more

Long story short, I received a gift from this place for my baby shower. It was hideous. I never wanna put my daughter in it. Went in to exchange for something fun for my older girls and most likely spend more money. Girls calls owner tells her the situations and owner refuses to let me exchange. Poor customer service. Buyer beware!!!! This store sells nothing but trinkets and trash. We purchased four gifts, all but one broke within days after the purchase. We contacted the owner in hopes that they would do the right thing and replace the gifts. The owner stated that they would not and that things break. They do not return nor do they replace. They sell nothing but cheap overpriced goods. read more

Oh my gosh. Love this place. I bring my granddaughter whenever she's in town. I love to watch the wonder on her face... it's priceless! We all need to be reminded of the wonder of life, the innocence, and simplicity of being young. Even my husband liked it. Great place to escape. read more

Super cute store. Lots to choose from for little ones. The quality is HORRIBLE and so is the customer service. My daughter picked out a plastic crown, some princess heels and putty. She tried to put on the crown upon exiting the store and it snapped in half. And no, it wasn't because a lot of force was used. We were told once items are purchased, it is not their problem anymore. She was in tears, so we bought another one. I carefully tried to put it on her, and it started to crack again. This is like a dollar store item being sold for $9. The putty was hard and unusable. The jewel fell off the heels same day. Save some money and go to the nearest dollar store. read more

OMG, this store is so amazing! My daughter and I were in San Clemente for Christmas and we drove past the heavily decorated Cottage Bliss. The attractive lighting display on the store front attracted us and we promised ourselves to check it out the next day when Cottage Bliss opened after the holidays. What a fantastic place and not as prohibitively priced as I thought it might be. For anyone who loves pretty things, glittery stuff, cute decorations and collectibles, this is the place for you. My daughter went bonkers over all the butterflies and ended up buying a mobile, glass-blown flower decorations and a butterfly wall-hanging. I watched as parents walked by with their young daughters in tow. Inevitably, these young girls would plead to come into Cottage Bliss and take a look around at all the beautiful things little girls love so much. I saw an extensive Hello Kitty and Betty Boop area plus more cupcake ornaments then you could shake a stick at. It would be a crime to come to San Clemente and not make a pit stop at Cottage Bliss. Walking down the quaint Avenida Del Mar in San Clemente, I discovered this wonderful shop. Inside is heaven for little and big girls. The moment you walk in, the shop is full of sparkle, sunshine and smiles, children are treated to fairy dust. The prices are reasonable and the selection is unique. I was here after Christmas, so I stocked up on gifts for next year. I live in San Diego, but I will return. Shop local and support your local small businesses. read more

I really like this store on Del Mar. It's my favorite not just in San Clemente, but down here in south county. The owner always has the cutest things for girls and for us ladies. Buyer beware!! Cottage Bliss has a 'no money back' return policy. The return must be made within three (3) days of the purchase or you are not able to return your purchase at all! If you are lucky enough to meet the 3 day requirement you can receive an exchange or gift receipt. This store policy is hidden on the wall behind the register where the employee stands at check-out and on the very small counter space where you place your purchase. Since I will never shop at Cottage Bliss again, I have no need of a gift certificate or exchange -- but they were able to get my money! When I made my purchase I spoke to the employee questioning whether my daughter would like the purchase. The employee never mentioned the return policy and, due to the sign placement, I did not read their policy. I assumed this store participated in the basic return policies of all reputable stores. My mistake, my big mistake! read more
