All the island fragrances have testers, so you can try them out first . Jewelry is tastefully displayed on black velvet, making it sparkle. The store is filled with classy Dana Point and Hawaiian souvenirs. It is your one stop shop for gifts for everyone, such as puzzles, plumeria hair clips, cute signs for your house or outdoor patio. I was shocked that the prices were affordable since the shop is at the marina. Most of all I liked the service I received over the past two days. RaeAnn helped me the first day. She was so pleasant, extremely patient and made me feel like a VIP customer. She really went the extra mile to help me. The next day I couldn't wait to go back. I met Boots, who was also a joy to visit with. The other customer in the store was there yesterday... so we both came back to buy other things that caught our eye the day before. I traveled to Dana Point, California from South Florida the week before Thanksgiving. I truly enjoyed my shopping experience at The Woody Hut. It is located at the scenic Dana Point Harbor nestled among a variety of shops and restaurants. The Woody Hut is a great place to find good quality souvenirs, jewelry and clothing among other items. I was thrilled when I saw the store had a variety of beautiful, one of a kind, hand painted Holiday ornaments depicting Dana Point. I have traveled around the world and collect ornaments from every place I travel to. The store owner, Christa, spent some time showing me the many different ornaments and helped me pick one out. Unfortunately, back at home in Florida, when it was time to hang it on my Christmas tree, the string that was attached to the top of the ornament detached from the ornament and the ornament fell on the floor and was shattered. I immediately checked The Woody Hut website to see if I could order another one but could not find one. I then contacted Christa who said she remembered me and the specific style of ornament I was interested in and took the time to send me short video clips of ornaments rotating so I could get a good look at them. I picked one out and she sent it out immediately so I could receive it before Christmas and did not charge me any shipping costs. I received the ornament today and it was packed really securely within three boxes. She even included a really nice little beachy knickknack. I have received a truly personalized and wonderful shopping experience with The Woody Hut. Thank you Christa for all your help! read more

This place is great. Christa and Boots are super nice and helpful. Today I picked up my new silver ring and bracelet that my fiance ordered for me a couple weeks ago. My mom comes here all the time and we went with her and fell in love with this set. They were a tad too small and Christa was kind enough to order a size up for us. I also fell in love with a beautiful whale tail pendant which my mom couldn't help to get for me lol. Have to say I got a little spoiled at this place! I LOVE this shop! Fun gift items.....but I find that it's hard not to keep some for yourself! The clothing is high quality; they have t-shirts, beach wear, sweatshirts, etc. I have purchased quite a few pieces of jewelry and I always feel special when I wear them because they are unique and GORGEOUS!! Wow, what customer service in a great store. We bought my wife two silver bangles about 6 months ago. One of them broke in half. We went to the store and showed Bruce the bangle (without our receipt) and Bruce recognized it being one of theirs. He replaced it on the spot without any questions! This is a very unique shop.
