She quickly narrowed down the best options that met safety standards, which made the process much less overwhelming. What we appreciated most was that AJ truly listened to both of our concerns. She was patient, pleasant, and somehow even provided a little free marriage counseling along the way, helping us compromise on product choices with humor and ease. After we selected our tile, she walked us through all of the finishing details, including edge trim, grout, and a shower niche, so we could make every decision in one visit. We left with all of our choices made and were able to get home in a timely fashion. AJ made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and even enjoyable. Wow this location is def 5 stars out of 5. Came to see Manny in the design studio and he was super helpful and great about my indecisiveness. He showed me so many different options and modeled on his computer. Even followed up later in the week to check if I had questions. Came in tonight right before closing and Ozzy was super great helping me pick grout colors. He was so familiar with all my choices and had great recommendations. He even helped me tape up some of my purchased items to help with transport. I've been to other locations and it's like night and day. Fountain Valley location is way better! read more

What a sh!t show. I ordered Italian kitchen tile matching my kitchen. My contractor picked up the tile but was given two separate lots. Two boxes were the correct tile and six boxes were a completely different color that looked yellow. It took over two weeks and upwards of a dozen phone calls. Floor & Decor doesn't give a rat's behind that it cost me an extra month's rent in unnecessary delays. read more

All the workers are really nice and friendly and want to help. They even load it in your truck for you. Too bad the manager doesn't take some initiative and get a rental or get the scooter they have for people to use to still enjoy the store. This place is great and they have many different options. If you see a set of tiles out of the box/set they can sell them to 1/2 price but it's final sale. read more

I have visited Floor & Decor about a dozen times in the past year preparing for the bathroom remodel which is in progress at this time. I stopped by two days ago to pick up the mirror and confirm the ID numbers of the two tiles I selected for the shower and walls. The woman at checkout was able to pull my past purchases based on my phone number. Then after checking for the tiles I hadn't returned, I could identify the ones I wanted to purchase. I was still waiting on the contractor to confirm the square footage and was assured I could call in to order and pay. Well, I called three times right before 10am and NOBODY answered. They are open at 8am and NOBODY answered the phone. Grant helped me out today, as he did in the past. He said he always answers immediately. It turns out he wasn't on duty yet when I called. I deleted two stars from what should be a five star review for that oversight. Shame on them. read more

I love this place. It was my first time stepping into the store as I was in the middle of a remodel and it was filled with so many options with a variety of price ranges to fit any budget. From traditional to transitional or ultra modern and contemporary, they have it all. I love that you can walk in and spend as much time and not feel pressured to buy or judged. I learned I could buy single pieces or samples which was very helpful since the remodel is to make a home more disabled-friendly. The staff is just great. They're all so friendly and helpful. They make the process seamless. There's even an in house designer to help you if you get stuck with deciding what Matches with what. We worked with Sara and went with her picks. There are also other designers as well but we worked with Sara and have zero regrets. Walked our ordering everything and they had it ready and loaded in our car within the hour. Even the folks in the back who are coordinating the loading into the cars are friendly and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend! I was not looking forward to going in to buy a list of items for my contractor, as it can be overwhelming to find everything. As I walked in the store, Ozzy greeted me and was so kind and helpful. He helped me every step of the way. He pushed my cart and loaded me up. He was just as excited as I was when we found what we needed. It made my shopping experience amazing and so much better than I had anticipated. He even packed up my car and was just amazing the entire time. I now don't dread going in to buy more.
