This Five Below is located in the same plaza as Home Depot, specifically right next door to Carter's. My husband and I ended up coming to this Five Below because we needed a second charger cable since I only had one in my car and his phone battery was at 20%. We walked in around 6:15 pm and were greeted by the 2 employees at the register. We walked towards the back of the store and found all of the many charger cables. He ended up purchasing 2 cables since he had complained that the cable I have in the car was too slow. My husband also ended up pick up a wireless battery bank (but the charge was slow so my husband ended up returning it to a Five Below location near our home in San Gabriel Valley and had no trouble returning it with a receipt). I also ended up picking up a few things too. Right when I first walked in, I saw these cute dog pens and this dog shaped tape dispenser. Being that both were pretty cheap I decided to get both (now did I need any of these items? No but I got them anyway, lol. Five Below reminds me of the Dollar Spot at Target and Daiso where there are just so many things that I didn't realize that I wanted until I saw them...). Later on when we picked the items we wanted to pay, we went back to the front of the store to pay for those items. To pay, it was all self check out registers. We were able to ring ourselves up but we did see a family that had some trouble and needed assistance from a employee. Although we did not have trouble going through the self check out, we did see a male employee at a register who was on his phone. My husband asked him if he was open and he said 'you have to use the self check out' and then went back to his phone ... I think that is pretty poor customer service, as you show to the customer that you do not want to lift a finger to help, especially when there was no line and the store was clearly not busy... (sorry but young people today....). But overall, we were able to find the items we needed (and more) and had a positive visit. If I lived in this area, I would most likely be a regular. read more

I feel like the name should be adjusted here. 5 and above. There is almost nothing under $5 and most items are $5.55, $7, etc. Kind of a bummer. And its really hard to tell what the price is on most items. They do have some cute stuff, but I think they could price them better. Yesterday Christmas was 1/2 off. Well, some of it. Some was still full price. At this point I feel like it should be off the shelves or at least 75% off. Books, Pajamas, Incense, fun stuff that remind me of the 90s but not all that great of a deal overall. read more

Run to Five Below now! They have a deal for 50% off all summer/patio! They have those cute outdoor lanterns, stools, decor, all 50%. It was my first time at Five Below and I was completely impressed. They sadly may need to change their name to $15 Below, because while they do still have many items $5 and under, they also have a good amount above too! I was really loving all their awesome beauty dupes! Plus, the store had great back to school items, backpacks, lunchboxes, water thermos, and more! I also loved how everything was displayed and well organized. Oh, and their candy section was amazing too! I can't wait to come back and explore more of the store soon. read more

Needed to grab some workout equipment and saw they had really cute Pilates gear here, so I had to check it out myself. I came on a weekday evening and it wasn't too busy - I was able to find what I needed and even more. They had a ton of workout books, including a Pilates book and a strength training book with full color photos for only $5! Their workout section basically has everything: yoga mats, dumbbells from 1 lb all the way past 10 lbs, Pilates bars, sliding discs, kettlebells -- pretty much everything you'd need for a home gym setup. I needed some lighter weights and they had exactly what I was looking for, and in a cute pink color. The only downside is there's pretty much no interaction with employees. When you check out, there's no cashier - it's fully self-checkout, which is still a little new to me since I'm used to someone ringing me up. Overall though, I found what I needed and had a good experience. read more

Been to this location many times! In my experience, 5 Below can be hit or miss. But on my recent trip I found such cute stuff! They have really adorable PJs right now and I got a hot pink bow pillow that looks just like the pink bow emoji. I also found some unique pink xmas wrapping paper. Staff: We only interacted with Madison near the self checkout. She was so incredibly nice. Madison told us that we could put our basket on the counter for an easier checkout. She also saw is struggling to put all of our stuff in a bag and she rushed over to get us another bag. I also saw her interacting with all of the customers. What amazing service! Quality/Quantity: I've always loved this store as they have so many great options. Everything from books, electronics, toys, clothing, candy, and more. Value: Lots of options but don't let the name fool you. They have items as high as $25 and low as a few dollars. Overall: Great store for tons of options of affordable gifts. read more

Went to this location because it was on my way to an event and also the other 2 locations I went to didn't have what I was looking for. This location literally had everything I was looking for and couldn't find and even more things that I didn't expect to see. This is such an awesome store and so cheap too. I can't believe some of the things they have. The checkout is also DIY and it's so easy. You can pay with cash or card, but be careful, some machines are just card only. read more

I am so happy there is a 5 below near me! They have so many cheaply priced quality items. Great for gifts or cheap home decor. Many licensed toys for sale such as Disney, Barbie, Nintendo, Pokémon, Harry Potter, etc. ! They have a section for anime toys too! I like the variety of things they carry but there is a distinct smell when you go inside the store that is overwhelming. I am not sure what it is but it seems like some type of chemicals used to make products (hopefully not lead) which may not be good for its employees/customers. read more

Let me start off with, I love Five Below, this particular store is the one we most frequent. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Their novelty tees are a great deal and often legit brands. We like the holiday selection and unique items they offer. The one thing I have noticed lately is that the shelves are disorganized and disheveled. I wanted to grab a few fun holiday tees but they were haphazardly stacked and all over the store in weird locations so finding sizes and styles was a challenge. Look, I know customers go through and make messes of piles, but this was bad and right after the doors opened in the morning. Not a great way to sell shirts when you can't even see what is being offered or find the right sizes. I even found piles of shirts on random shelves on top of other merchandise. Their children sized shirts are lacking right now as well. They only had a handful and were only girl styles, if you could find them. read more

This Five Below is located in the El Toro plaza. It is on the same side of the parking lot as the Daiso but is closer to the food court. They have discount merchandise in the store. There wasn't anything that I really needed so I just impulse bought a few things. One uses a self checkout to pay. I required no interaction with a human and everything seemed to be charged properly, including things with no price tags. Something even better, I did not have to hear any human employees say anything to me either, but there was a question on the checkout that asked if I was greeted. I answered no, but from my perspective I would rather not be greeted since I mentally react like the Simpsons did when they went in the Japanese restaurant and they were frightened when the staff greeted them suddenly. Since I have previously seen poor people hang out in this plaza I have been very tense when coming here, but there is no seating in front of the store so it is not likely I will encounter them. read more

I believe that when you go to any store/business/restaurant, you should be greeted and feel welcomed when you walk through the doors. That was not the case here at this store. Not sure how many employees worked during my visit not too long ago today (I did see one or two employees walking around and actually working) but there were clearly two divas at check out that looked like they didn't want to be there. When approaching them for a couple questions, there was a lack of approachable customer service. It felt very weird and chaotic with their demeanor. Not only that but lots of stuff was all over the place like toys, shirts etc that didn't belong in certain places. There were a couple of things that I unfortunately couldn't find through some of the mess. Events also took place while shopping. There was a family kicking around a soccer ball with their kids and at the same time heard someone break something an aisle over. Then another person dropping something else at the front near check out. No sense of urgency while trying to clean up and did not get approached by anyone about asking if I was looking for something in particular (again unapproachable. I had to approach them for help). I've been to other five below stores and never felt or experienced weird negative customer service and was actually greeted when walking in. Definitely mine and my family's last visit. read more

Lots of items and very creative exclusive products. I love the electronics and toys selections. I bought a few Super Mario figures and a mini Dwight figure from the office as desk companion at my home office. My wife love their snacks and casual wears sections. This is probably the best location in Orange County. I've visited a few other locations including the Aliso Viejo one and the one in Costa Mesa. The customer service here was much better and the employees were much more kind and courteous. Definitely coming back here to buy more shirts and whatnot. read more
