Great pricing! I came here to look for some decorations for our holiday party and the theme was Wicked -- so I was happy to get pink and green plates & utensils. The utensils were probably not the best for eating cause they broke easily. You might want to buy extra utensils for extra. The cashier was super nice and helpful.

My husband and I popped in to look around since we were next door shopping at Aldi. We normally frequent the DT location in Aliso Viejo. This one seems a bit tired. The shelves were a bit messy. They did have a nice selection of wrapping paper and gift bags. The food they sell is all processed so we have been staying away from that. If that's your jam, more power to you. We bought one item here and it wasn't edible. The cashier was friendly. Service was decent. The store was empty at the time were were there.

First time here The one that I usually frequent is the one off of Alicia Pkwy. Pros: -It's super quiet, clean, and has a good amount of inventory, especially seasonal (Valentine's Day/any holiday stuff) -great greeting card selection! -Cashier is on it! She knows her stuff and can hustle (not like the other one that I frequent, that line takes forever) Cons: -No cons Can't really complain...it's the Dollar Tree, you get what you pay for!

This dollar tree offers more items than the one on Alicia park way and it is somewhat more lively if that makes sense. The other location is closer to me but it's always kind of pessimistic vibes over there. Anywho the store is as clean as it's going to get with a dollar tree but if you get there early and avoid the clutter and rummaged items already it's your best choice. I love finding the most random cute practical things however I will say I purchased a car charger and it didn't work but I kind of expected it (still I want my dollar back lol) Also be prepared to wait in line- the store is always busy and there's literally one cashier open at a time each time I've stopped by - I've seen hiring signs for a while now.

    The Best!!

Tons of cheap Chinese plastic crap that smells. Went in and browsed around and ultimately left without buying one thing.

I always felt silly spending $3 to$4 for a greeting card but here there is a large selection for $0.

My cousin purchased a phone case, and as we were walking out after paying, we noticed some squishies near the exit. We briefly squeezed them and continued walking out. The manager immediately looked at our hands as if she suspected we were stealing, despite the fact that she was standing right in front of us and had watched us pay for our purchase. It was extremely uncomfortable and made us feel like we were being treated as criminals for absolutely no reason. Then, once we got into the car, my cousin realized that she had accidentally purchased the wrong size phone case. Since it was only around 9:20 PM, she wanted to quickly go back inside to exchange it. Instead of simply helping her with the exchange, the manager immediately started yelling at my aunt and cousin, insisting that they were closed, even though the posted closing time was 9:30 PM. This caused my aunt to become upset and yell back. What made the situation even worse was the manager's attitude throughout the entire interaction. She had the nerve to yell at my aunt and then, when my aunt told her that she was going to leave a bad review because of her behavior, the manager essentially laughed about it with her employee. She was clearly not embarrassed or concerned about how she had treated us. If anything, she seemed to be mocking the fact that a customer was upset enough to complain. The employee working there clearly seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed by the situation and appeared to feel bad about the way his manager was treating us. He was put in an extremely awkward position because of her behavior. I completely understand that employees want to leave on time and that closing procedures take time. However, there is absolutely no reason to yell at customers, treat them like they are stealing, or mock them for expressing that they are unhappy with the service they received. The entire interaction was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I have never experienced customer service this rude at this location, and based on the manager's reaction to being told that a bad review would be left, it seems like she genuinely does not care how she treats customers. I hope management above her takes this complaint seriously and addresses her behavior because clearly she's a huge PROBLEM!

In my current situation, as I am living in my minivan, the support I receive here is life-changing. But beyond the resources, the real heart of this place is Nancy. She is a Godsend. She doesn't just see a person in need; she sees me. She is a true friend in God and an example of His love--I see God's image in her every time we speak. She encourages me and prays with me, and her words of wisdom stay with me long after I leave. She has this beautiful, positive, motherly energy that makes me feel seen, valued, and comforted. Sometimes she even makes me cry because she provides the guidance and care I've always longed for--the kind of motherly advice I wish I'd had. Today's visit especially made a huge, huge difference in my life; the way she loved me today felt like the way a mother truly loves her child, or like the way our Father in heaven loves His children. My husband and I ended up coming to this Five Below because we needed a second charger cable since I only had one in my car and his phone battery was at 20%. We walked in around 6:15 pm and were greeted by the 2 employees at the register. We walked towards the back of the store and found all of the many charger cables. He ended up purchasing 2 cables since he had complained that the cable I have in the car was too slow. My husband also ended up pick up a wireless battery bank (but the charge was slow so my husband ended up returning it to a Five Below location near our home in San Gabriel Valley and had no trouble returning it with a receipt). I also ended up picking up a few things too. Right when I first walked in, I saw these cute dog pens and this dog shaped tape dispenser. Being that both were pretty cheap I decided to get both (now did I need any of these items? No but I got them anyway, lol. Five Below reminds me of the Dollar Spot at Target and Daiso where there are just so many things that I didn't realize that I wanted until I saw them...). Later on when we picked the items we wanted to pay, we went back to the front of the store to pay for those items. To pay, it was all self check out registers. We were able to ring ourselves up but we did see a family that had some trouble and needed assistance from a employee. Although we did not have trouble going through the self check out, we did see a male employee at a register who was on his phone. My husband asked him if he was open and he said 'you have to use the self check out' and then went back to his phone ... I think that is pretty poor customer service, as you show to the customer that you do not want to lift a finger to help, especially when there was no line and the store was clearly not busy... (sorry but young people today....). But overall, we were able to find the items we needed (and more) and had a positive visit. If I lived in this area, I would most likely be a regular.
