My husband and I popped in to look around since we were next door shopping at Aldi. We normally frequent the DT location in Aliso Viejo. This one seems a bit tired. The shelves were a bit messy. They did have a nice selection of wrapping paper and gift bags. The food they sell is all processed so we have been staying away from that. If that's your jam, more power to you. We bought one item here and it wasn't edible. The cashier was friendly. Service was decent. The store was empty at the time were were there.

First time here The one that I usually frequent is the one off of Alicia Pkwy. Pros: -It's super quiet, clean, and has a good amount of inventory, especially seasonal (Valentine's Day/any holiday stuff) -great greeting card selection! -Cashier is on it! She knows her stuff and can hustle (not like the other one that I frequent, that line takes forever) Cons: -No cons Can't really complain...it's the Dollar Tree, you get what you pay for!

This dollar tree offers more items than the one on Alicia park way and it is somewhat more lively if that makes sense. The other location is closer to me but it's always kind of pessimistic vibes over there. Anywho the store is as clean as it's going to get with a dollar tree but if you get there early and avoid the clutter and rummaged items already it's your best choice. I love finding the most random cute practical things however I will say I purchased a car charger and it didn't work but I kind of expected it (still I want my dollar back lol) Also be prepared to wait in line- the store is always busy and there's literally one cashier open at a time each time I've stopped by - I've seen hiring signs for a while now.

    The Best!!

Terrible costomer survice. Cashier and manager were rude. Never going back that dollar store location.

I always felt silly spending $3 to$4 for a greeting card but here there is a large selection for $0.

The El Toro location is always clean, bright and well stocked. I like coming to this Daiso because parking is easy and the store is really big and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There are a lot of other stores and food options in this plaza so it makes shopping here a one stop shop.

Some items are priced higher depending on quality or function, but they have price sheets next to those items to indicate that it could cost more. For this visit, I did have a list of items I was interested in and was able to find such as, squeeze bottle for condiments, small mesh strainer, tempura paper liner and tongs. What I bought on impulse was the robe indoor house slippers, bear squeaky dog toy, card holder and a koi fish reusable bag. Their dog toys are perfect for my Pancake. She's obsessed with the bear since it squeaks and has soft limbs for her to chew on. They surprisingly hold up well with light play/chew, but most of the dog toys in our home are from Daiso. The only thing I couldn't find was the oil absorbing pads for used cooking oils. After frying, I used to throw a couple of those pads into a pan and it would soak up any remaining oil to toss in the trash. Was really useful to keep on hand, but I haven't found it in awhile. Besides that, I'm always happy to visit a Daiso and will be back soon.

Hands down, the BEST staff is here at AV. We've been here multiple times, each with different employees, and they've all been so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They even allowed us to buy the open stock for the blind boxes and were happy to try to find the packaging in the back. Though the store IS small, it's a lot easier to find the hard-to-find or popular items. My kids recently wanted a series that came out several months ago and they still had a few boxes here whereas every other store is sold out. They're super enthusiastic about checking the back for you if there's something you want that's not out. We've been to the larger locations, such as Tustin, but the greater foot traffic also means things get sold out a lot quicker.

I was almost out of breath from excitement. I spent a solid hour just circling the store, completely unable to decide what to buy. In the end, I walked out with some face masks, an ornament, and a few snacks for myself (obviously). The shop is literally right next to Trader Joe's, so I know I'll be visiting this plaza a lot more often. There's also Daiso, 99 Ranch, and the ever-popular Marugame Udon all in the same plaza. I'm so psyched--can't wait for my next visit!
