I stopped in to Dollar Tree this morning as they have some items that are simply a great deal. I needed some foam paint brushes and at Home Depot or Amazon they range from $5.99 to $7.99 for the assortment pack and here they are $1.50. I also buy the throw away roller tray combo which is also $1.50. Windshield washer fluid is also $1.50 and on and on with some key deals. The store is conveniently located and the staff are kind and helpful. Highly recommended read more

Decent selection for budget shopping. The store is stocked with many seasonal items and cheaper options.

Met one of the best employees tonight, Dollar tree had a lot of items that we needed for our future trunk or treat! Now is the time to get the best selection. Somehow Halloween seems to be earlier and earlier each year! Additionally, so is Christmas ! read more

Staff: Here is where the experience greatly suffered. We came in for some inexpensive candy for a party. Upon grabbing all of the items we planned to buy, we walked up to the register. The lady walked over and looked at us with a blank face. She rang us up and looked at us again with a blank face. It was an odd feeling as she said nothing at all. After paying I stood there and thanked her, to which she said thank you. Completely ignoring a customer is really bad customer service. This is a shame as I overheard a different employee engaging with customer on the floor and he seemed much more interested in providing good customer service. Quality/Quantity: The amount of variety of options is quite impressive. Value: Pricing though not a dollar was really good. There are definitely deals here. Overall: This is not an establishment that I frequent and it has been probably 5 or more years since I've been here. Would I return? Perhaps, if I needed something similar to this time. Pro tip: They do balloons here which is good to know with the closing of Party City. read more

Rude manager with an accent. She hates her job and is miserable. A toy wasnt labeled as $5 and cashier scanned it and I told them i didnt know it was $5 because usually items are labeled if it's more than 1.25$ and miserable manager said next time ask first how much it is before we scan it. Maybe label your items if it's more than 1.25$ and have more respect for your customers and there wont be problems This rude lady should not work as manager. Messy store by the way! Clean it up! read more

Decent dollar tree or dollar twenty five cent tree (but I get it). They have an okay selection of toys which is the main reason why I go as it's like discount Disneyland for my daughter. The service is pretty good as they always let you know when an item is over their standard price as they seem to have a lot of inventory that is $3 to $5 which is something I appreciate greatly. I also appreciate that if an item isn't on the shelf they take the time to look in the back to see if it might be there. One significant critique is the fact that they seldom have more than one register open which is a source of frustration for me. I am almost always accompanied by my daughter and having to wait a long time on a weekend to check out is not optimal. Weekend shifts should always have at least two people behind the register at any one time in my opinion because even outside of rush hour it's still a popular store and staffing should be at the level necessary to accommodate it. read more

This is the only dollar tree on the planet where you can walk in during rush hours, see a register with 0 people in line, spend 6 minutes finding the couple of items you need, and walk back to the register and not have to wait in line. Magic. read more

I stopped by this Dollar Tree today and had a pretty disappointing experience. I'm a teacher and was excited to find individually wrapped gummy packs that I've purchased here before for my students. When I got to the register, the cashier--who was incredibly friendly and helpful--let me know they were ringing up for $0.01. I asked if I could grab the last two bags on the shelf, and she even went to check with the manager to help me out. Unfortunately, the manager told her the gummies were a "no sale" item and refused to sell them to me at any price--even full price. I wasn't asking for a special deal, just to purchase the product that was still sitting on the shelf. It was confusing and honestly a bit discouraging. A few minutes after leaving, I realized I had left my umbrella hanging on one of the carts. I called the store twice within 10 minutes--no answer either time. I'm not sure if only one employee was working, but between the refusal to sell an item in the store and the lack of response when I called, it turned into a pretty disappointing visit overall. I really appreciated the cashier's kindness, but I hope management can clarify their policies and improve communication. This could have been such a simple, positive experience. I eventually did call back and they did answer. Unfortunately but the time they picked up someone had taken the umbrella with them. Not the fault of the manager or the store, but a sad experience to say the least. read more

Very bad service, I stand in line for some time, then the guy in register told me I can not pay there as I have a gift card, I need to stand again in line for another register. Good experience here. Main reason for the good rating was the cashier. Very nice dude, professional, and quick at his job. Definitely deserves a raise and promotion. Store had what we needed. Greeting cards. Batteries. Candy. And was in clean shape. read more

I will not shop at this dollar tree again. Let me start by saying I am a dollar tree fanatic. The attitudes of the employees here are down right unacceptable. I have had multiple issues on multiple occasions. Ann Marie was extremely rude to me a couple months ago when I had a large purchase. Whole she was checking out the person in front of me she started in on me for no reason. Why did I put a separator bar between my order and the one behind me when I had one closer to me. I didn't see it, and honestly, who cares. I let her know I didn't see it and I was only trying to help. Then she barked at me she didn't have paper to wrap my breakables. I didn't ask her to. She then started in on me if I was going to need bags. Why didn't she focus on the customer she was helping. She kept at me. And was extremely rude the entire time she checked me out. Tonight I went in specifically looking for a table top plastic Christmas tree that came in a box. I wish I got employee names. The small blonde girl said if I didn't see them out anymore they didn't have them. I said I haven't seen them here. Another dollar tree has them and I'm trying to see if this location does. She gave me such an attitude and said she guessed she'd ask someone. She knocked on the office door and the woman inside screamed WHAT DO YOU WANT. She stated someone had a question, then she walked away. What I assume was the manager, an older woman walked out and asked me what I wanted. I explained the same to her and she said she didn't know and just stared at me. Absolutely horrible customer service. This store never used to be like this. There is a dollar tree not far down Alicia I will give my business too. They are never rude or disrespectful there and treat their customers as they should. If you don't want customers - having these nasty employees is a great way to ensure that going forward. I will be sending a letter to corporate as well. I don't appreciate it. read more

I wanted to take a moment to send this review to acknowledge the excellent customer service provided by two young gentlemen, Brandon and Preston. I ordered 90 items online and had not received an update on my order status after two weeks and was unsuccessful when reaching out to the help center (although they were very courteous). I went to the store where my items were expected to be delivered and was helped by Brandon who suggested the items may arrive in the evening when a shipment was due. Preston who overheard the conversation remembered a shipment in the back room and ran to go look. He returned shortly with my order in hand. These two amazing gentlemen offered to carry my items to my car and did so without hesitation. I shop at various Dollar Trees but I will make it a point to return to this site due to the professionalism of these two gentlemen! read more

Dollar Tree - Christmas sweater made all with dollar tree products. - Discount Store Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

This location is tucked away in a pretty quiet center, which is a plus because it's not super crowded. But the store was not very clean. Every aisle that we walked down had something spilled- detergent, water, bubbles, hair products.... I kept having to tell my kids to look out and don't slip in the liquid. The ceiling has disgusting stains and holes! That kind of grossed me out. We grabbed a few items we needed and left- I didn't want to even stroll around the store like I usually like to do in a Dollar Tree. read more

I go there Thursday April 1st to pick up items to fill up Easter basket and random things for the house. I'm chatting with the cashier and kids running around I apparently only came out of the store with one bag of items. The clerk never ran behind me nor any other customers said anything. I notice the next day and I grab my receipt to see I'm $16 short of items. I call and the manger was extremely rude saying no items were left in the cubby of left items. I told her we could research it or ask the cashier to see what happened and she said no that basically it's on me. What horrible customer service and I have never had a manger of any store make me feel like I was wrong and a thief. I will never go back and I'm complaining to the company itself for poor management and unhealthy practices for customer service. read more

Since our wedding (August 2011) when I made my original purchase here, I've come back time and time again! There are seriously some great deals here!! I tend to buy necessities here - e.g. body wash, loofas, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, car detailing stuff (well, hubby buys that). etc. Honestly - you get great products that you might even find in a Target for a quarter of the price! How could you beat that? Sure, not everything is name brand... but hey, who gives! This store is FABULOUS!! read more

I came into this dollar store getting some last minute items. The two workers that were here were arguing and fighting with each other in front of customers. Already a red flag right there. When it was my turn to be checked out I asked the cashier for some balloons, before I can mention which she said "They're all blown up already, go pick which ones you want" they were all birthday balloons in which I didn't need. When I asked her if they had others that are just plain, she seemed almost insulted that I had asked her for other balloons. Very heavy personality and honestly would go out of my way to go to a farther dollar tree then come to this one and possibly get the same treatment. read more

I walked in, saw Marilyn (later found out she was the store manager) asked her if she had 200 vases in boxes. Instead of looking at me like I was crazy or just saying NO go online. She said, hold on, let me check, if we don't have them in boxes, I have some boxes here that I'm emptying, we can pull some off the shelves and pack them up for you. It was a simple process. She rang everything up and even brought the boxes out to my car. She then said, if you ever need anything in Bulk, just order it and send it to our location, we will make sure you get it on time. As an event planner, I don't always have weeks to wait for things to arrive via online order. Marilyn made sure I was taken care of. Best customer service I have experienced at Dollar Tree. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! Okay to start with, i'm a Dollar tree shopper but i usually go to the one closer to my place at ORANGE. One of the customers in front of me asked if they could open another line cause he's been waiting for 10 mins. The employee told him she's open on 2 the register he was already at. They are just standing there talking while there is a line. They have 5 registers and no one wants to help. Bad customer service The staff name annmarie was extremely rude! i tried asking her if i can use the restroom and she said that i cannot use it if i'm not buying. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that everyone is on a register and I am not able to hold for a manager. i do not recommend this store especially this location! read more

If I could give this store a zero I would! Lacks customer service and it shows. There's always a line! And it's always 5+people and when they cashier asks for help the person that comes up is always in a horrible mood like I'm a bother. I just had the worst experience. I had two items and when the girl opened the register she asked for the next customer to go to her register, no one moved in front of me so I moved. The cashier ringing stopped and said "No, not you the lady in the purple". She said it in such horrible way. Mind you the lady in the purple already HAD her stuff on the belt to be rung cuz she was next on that register. Horrible horrible horrible ! I will NOT BE COMING AGAIN TO THIS STORE! read more

Who doesn't love a discount? I've been to this location several times and every time I'm able to find the things I'm looking for. It's located in a shopping center and there's always plenty of parking available. Now with every dollar store there's always going to be a mess and this store is no exception. It's a small location in comparison to other dollar trees. You can always find cute holiday items and decor here for your house for only a dollar. I always shop for gift bags, tissue paper, and bows at the dollar tree because they carry a variety of different sizes for almost every occasion. They also have a variety of tissue paper. Now of course the gift bag section is always a mess. I've purchased cleaning supplies, toothbrush, toothpaste, frozen foods, chips, and they have nice cups for your house for only a dollar. The employees are just there for the paycheck. read more

It is a Dollar Tree. It is in the same plaza as the Del Taco. They have all kinds of dollar store trinkets that were $1 each. My tourist friend said they had things that were not available in her area anymore so we bought some. The employees sounded really bored and scowled all the time. There was only one cash register open at the time so it went at a medium speed. read more

I'm poor. Story of my life! The Dollar Tree comes to my rescue more often than not. I was having a surprise birthday party for one of my good friends tonight. I wanted to pick up some balloons and some silly stuff to give her but didn't want to break the bank at a normal party store. My mom mentioned that the Dollar Tree probably has balloons and silly goodies, so off I went! They do have balloons. Happy Birthday ones. For one buck each. And that includes it being blown up and a cute little weight for the bottom. I also got a pretty heart shaped one too. $3 for three balloons = awesome! I also picked up a Happy Birthday Tiara, some silly pins and some HUGE pink and silly looking glasses. So fun!! For $6 and some change, I walked out happy!! Thanks Dollar Tree for coming to my rescue!! read more

The Dollar Tree has nothing on the 99 cent store. This location is older and pretty run down, dim and narrow isles, no brand name items to be found here. Dollar Tree fills a niche for the value focused shopper. They carry a reasonable selection of items people use on a regular basis, and part of the inventory they carry are name brands most would recognize. Also most of the stores carry a very similar inventory as well, so people can expect to find items they regularly purchase at most any Dollar tree they shop at. The staff here is helpful, and though the service is not quite to the level as other retail stores, the do a good job in helping their customers and answering their questions. Though no busier than some of the other locations I have been to, this Dollar Tree tends to be a bit of a mess at times. Overall Rating: 2.5 Stars Though one can find certain items they need here, I am not overly impressed with this store compared to other Dollar Trees or 99 Cent Stores. read more
