Once again, reminding everybody that this is a nonprofit store, the employees here are wonderful and they're all volunteers! Today I found a wonderful Fourth of July decoration that's vintage and I don't think I'd ever find something like that anywhere else. Great prices, great selection, they moved the items on the floor consistently because it goes out the door. In other words the prices are great the items move fast! read more

What a fun time..walking on the beach and shopping in these vintage upscale shops..win win...we had beautiful perfect weather...so many unique items..we went in and out of several shops and plan to return my next trip next month! The nice gentleman was most helpful..as he took items off the shelf for us to look at more closely..I plan on traveling with an extra bag next time. read more

Would not be back. Very unfriendly staff. Made me very uncomfortable. I couldn't even finish looking before I left.

I got the deal of a lifetime here! I am a very happy customer. I will be going here again periodically to check on inventory

It seemed everything was priced $6.99 or$10.99 and the quality of the items was not worth it. The home goods selection was sad looking. Nothing much there either. I can't say how service was bc I left without buying anything. It might've been a bad day to go but there was plenty of clothes. Police activity right outside arresting some elderly people not sure why. I won't return. read more

Friendly staff. Unexpected clothing finds. Good location. I haven't bought kitchen items but they have a nice selection.

Good selection good quality and good prices !!! What more can I say ? Oh ya I need 85 characters To make this post read more

Bad attitude. Never has cash to pay for items I brought to sell. Didn't even look in my bag.

Eclectic inventory of reasonably quality items. Clean store, good customer service, well laid out, free and easy parking.

This is a hidden gem with quality clothes and home products. The staff is great and super helpful!

My husband and I have been going there for years. We never come into town without stopping to see Teresa and all the wonderful sales associates. It's a must stop and see. Great prices and sales and holiday discounts. I cannot wait for our next visit read more

I love thifting and this large store doesn't disappoint! Bought more items Than expected as they were having a half price sale on all home goods. We don't live in the area, or I would shop here regularly. The reviews I read are true- check this store out! read more

Lovely store. Great selection, location and staff. I shopped here from out of town. It was a successful random try.

Never disappointed in the new/used merchandise i have found there. I have purchased several times from there now and always look forward to going back each week. The ladies there are very helpful and friendly. Please go and check it out. read more

We are regulars at this store. We have never been disappointed. All staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Place is always very clean... and yes prices are fair. Proceeds go to a good cause. read more

What a fun place to visit. I never know what I may find. Furniture, tools, kitchen gadgets, and even stationery supplies. Lots of clothing, too. I feel good knowing it's a non profit and my purchase helps feed a family. Plus... the people there are all very nice. read more

Fun place to shop, well organized, great prices and you can always find something! Definitely check it out! read more

This is THE BEST thrift shop I've been to! Very Organized, super cool new and vintage pieces! The prices are great! And the staff are very friendly! I recommend upscale Resale read more

Unless you're coming for their sales, where they mark certain tag colors off 50-75 percent or coming to look at their dollar racks, the clothes is way overpriced. Like an out of style, worn blazer for twenty bucks??? You might as well go to Ross or Marshalls, where you'd get a new one for that price. read more

I just went for the first time and I'm soooooo excited how close this is to my house!! I loved everything about my experience here. The staff were friendly and attentive, I even heard the lovely volunteer-woman explain how sales tax works to a little boy and count his change back... come here for goods, leave here with knowledge!! She was so sweet and patient with him. The clothes were all in fantastic condition, no crappy, stained, torn, weathered junk here, and the prices were reasonable. I got 4 dresses for $45!! One of which was designer, and one was 75% off, I walked away very happy. The store is immaculately clean and organized, unlike most thrift stores. I'm a die hard thrifter, and I've never seen a store like this! Great selection of home goods, clothing, trinkets, etc. I am really looking forward to returning soon!! read more

This store had a lot of great stuff in excellent condition. Would have gotten 5 stars if the ladies working there were a little friendlier. Asked if a piece of artwork was part of the 50% off sale and was told "Didn't you read the sign?" It's all good though! read more

I've been wanting to come to this place, and was actually in the area so I thought I'd stop by. I was very impressed on how organized it was and the staff were for friendly and pleasant. I have been looking for a pair of jeans that weren't skinny and finally found a pair that I was looking for. Also, found a few more items for my grand daughter. I will definitely be coming back. Thank-you for a great experience! read more

I went here today for the first time very nice and clean store and well organized which is helpful to find exactly what you're looking and very reasonable prices. Best part they are Not for profit and do so much work to help others. Check them out! read more

They are having a 50% off sale until April 7th 2022 on all their clothing. We found some great bargains. Even without the sales pricing was good and selection was great. Lots of fun home decor items, vintage pieces, a few antiques, great jewelry too. VERY well organized. Friendly and welcoming staff that were very helpful. Good cause to support - a thrift store that benefits South County Outreach clients facing food insecurity and homelessness throughout Orange County. read more

BEWARE! This store advertises sales and specials, then when you get to the register they argue and try to charge you anyway! BAD EXPERIENCE! read more

Love the new location. This is normally a favorite thrift spot and I always find a little something, at least. I will say that sometimes the pricing can be inconsistent and a little high but its always hit or miss so it must be whoever is pricing at that moment or whatever. Honestly every time we go everyone has always been really pleasant and their stuff is always clean and displayed nicely. Also they sort by size and thats always a plus when a thrift store does that. Check them out! read more

New location is gorgeous! I always find a new treasure at Upscale Resale! The holiday decor and decorations are the best deals in town! The clothing items always look clean without stains or holes etc. Department Sales are frequent and the best way to get a deal! read more

Despite the store being small, it had a lot of great stuff! It took me well over an hour to get through looking through everything! I was looking for some gifts for my cousins and found some great like-new toys and books in the back corner to the right. Everyone was very friendly and I was greeted warmly when I came in through the doors. read more

This long time thrifters paradise supports a local food pantry, South County Outreach of Irvine. Recently expanded, you can find upscale clothing on hangars, business and party attire, totes and purses and awesome shoes! Kids toys and books are complete and clean and plenty. Seasonal items appear at the right times and the store offers special discounts weekly. The staff are well trained and very pleasant. If you'd like to donate goods, you can drop off in back during weekday hours. I feel great about donating my used goods to support those in need of food and housing, rental and utility assistance. Highly recommended. I may be biased since I have supported SCO for many years, take a look yourself! read more

Quality items, clean, organized and friendly. I especially liked their Halloween costume selection

Upscale Resale/South County Outreach are shady and ripped me off on the fair market value of the items I donated. Upscale resale should be called "uppity people who think they're Macy's" After my awful donation experience, I would not recommend donating your items to this store. I donated about a carload worth of items. Prior to dropping off the stuff I took an inventory of what I donated on my laptop to attach to my tax receipt. Mind you it was a carload of stuff so I wasn't going to remember the hundreds of items I donated. When I get there, the lady at the back completely ignored me. Then, she refused to give me a tax receipt. I had to literally argue with her to get one. When I fill out the receipt I put on the document "see attached" since I was going to add my inventory list at home. She then scratches that out and tells me to list everything I donated. Every other charity in the area gives you the receipt and leaves it to the donor to determine the fair value of goods. Not here. They ripped me off and now instead of the hundreds I was going to claim they messed up my receipt and I won't be able to claim it. Completely shady accounting on their end. Don't donate here because they will give you an attitude and rip you off on the fair market value of your donation. Goodwill and Salvation Army are not far from here. Go there instead. read more

Upscale Resale has such a great selection of quality merchandise and great prices. The store is also impeccably organized with only the best items & they are on a completely different level than other thrift stores! Keep an eye out for their big sales as well!!! read more

I visit this store often and normally like it. Aside from sometimes finding a nice item discounted, I believe in recycling and reducing our footprint. But I also believe in customer service, no matter what kind of a business you are. Last week I purchased a shirt, not on sale, and washed it to wear it a week later. I had already taken the tag off and threw the tag and receipt away. It fell apart in the wash. I brought it back to the store and asked for credit on another clothing item since I didn't wear it once and they refused, as they indicate no exchanges or returns. But you would think that they would want to take care of a regular customer, especially when the item they sold was crap. I could have paid the same or less on the sale rack at Macy's and had a quality item. read more

My favorite place to go to find fairly priced, unique items. It's all volunteer run so this tells you the great hearts that these volunteers have to help the homeless. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I come to this store often because they have nice items, they are very clean, and most of the time, the staff (mostly volunteers) are very friendly. They carry more than just clothing. The disadvantage is that they are a little pricier than most resale shops, even for the nicer things. I usually only buy things that are on sale. As items have been there a while, they give discounts as new inventory comes in. read more

This place is adorable! Lots of fun stuff to shop and the employees were so friendly and helpful! The prices were unbelievable! So reasonably priced and then a bunch of stuff was on sale. Amazing! Love finding cute little boutique type thrift stores! So fun! read more

Yes I am a bit partial because I am a volunteer, however, being a thrift store junkie who visits thrift stores even when I travel, I realize what a special store Upscale is. It has more of a boutique vibe than a typical thrift store. Various clothing is always on sale along with weekly department sales. We are tucked away in an industrial complex behind Tuesday Morning but worth finding!! Truth be told, Upscale is the best hidden secret around so come and seek us out.....you'll be glad you did! read more

The only thing I'm sorry about is that I didn't find this shop sooner. All of their merchandise is very good quality, no sorting through junk. It's nicely displayed, and there was a big variety of items. Lamps were 50% off today so I bought two matching vintage table lamps and a similar vintage floor lamp that I loved for an insanely low price. I am thrilled! I'm going to donate the lamps I'm replacing back to the store. The personnel (all unpaid volunteers) were very nice to me and the other customers. I can't wait to go back! read more

I love this thrift shop! It's a hidden gem and the staff and volunteers are always so friendly! The manager Teresa is the kindest and provided me with the best service when she sold me an item I had been eyeing for the longest time. I'll always come back here for the loveliest vintage items! read more
