They have friendlier employees at the checkout now. Two years ago, there was not a happy face behind the counter. A lot of value items. We found four garden tools for less than $40. A new rake is $68 at HD or Lowe's. We moved out of the area and realized nothing compares to Mercy. read more

Absolutely ridiculous way to run a thrift store. Mercy Warehouse apparently lets people called "wholesalers" come in BEFORE THE STORE EVEN OPENS and buy whatever they want, while everyone else is expected to show up during normal business hours. How is that remotely fair to the average customer? You're essentially giving a select group of people a private shopping period while the rest of the public gets second, third, and fourth pick. That completely defeats the purpose of having a public thrift store. It's especially frustrating because these "wholesalers" can scoop up anything before regular customers even get through the doors. If this is how Mercy Warehouse chooses to operate, they should stop pretending everyone has an equal opportunity to shop there. I've been to plenty of thrift stores, and this is one of the most blatantly unfair setups I've encountered. Making money is one thing, but giving preferential treatment to a handful of buyers at the expense of everyone else is bullshit. Do better Mercy Warehouse. Something needs to be done. read more

I visit the Mercy Warehouse every Monday for help with clothing vouchers, and I can honestly say this place is an absolute blessing. In my current situation, as I am living in my minivan, the support I receive here is life-changing. But beyond the resources, the real heart of this place is Nancy. She is a Godsend. She doesn't just see a person in need; she sees me. She is a true friend in God and an example of His love--I see God's image in her every time we speak. She encourages me and prays with me, and her words of wisdom stay with me long after I leave. She has this beautiful, positive, motherly energy that makes me feel seen, valued, and comforted. Sometimes she even makes me cry because she provides the guidance and care I've always longed for--the kind of motherly advice I wish I'd had. Today's visit especially made a huge, huge difference in my life; the way she loved me today felt like the way a mother truly loves her child, or like the way our Father in heaven loves His children. I am so grateful to her, more than words can express, and I absolutely adore her. read more

I drove out to this location after seeing a few reviews on TikTok. I arrived before they opened and there was already a small line at the entrance. The warehouse is huge and has a wide variety of items to browse. I do wish they had better jewelry options, but I still found a great deal,Ferragamo sunglasses for $45. read more

It's so nice how much stuff to accept. Great donation center. Great service. They never have any lines for their drop offs. Very organized.

Mercy is continuously improving its donation center. They have great hours, very convenient for drop off. They've also made the donation cars all come in from the back now, with a parking guide telling everyone where to go for maximum efficiency. It's so smooth now. Once you park, helpful young people start helping you unload your car. Most everything falls under General - household goods, dishes, pots and pans. There's also bins for clothing, books, electronics, and a separate furniture area. The whole operation is very professional and impressive. I really appreciate what these folks are doing and it feels good to donate our gently used items. read more

It's always an interesting experience here. They re- organized the place really nicely. It's now open and less cluttered. There are people giving donations from rented moving vans. I really need to clean out my storage, and give donations here as well . I would say about 20% of the stuff I have in my storage, probably came from Mercy warehouse! The prices are reasonable, and they will work with you, if need be. The only reason this place doesn't get a five star ... it's because sometimes, they (some employees) look at me as if I'm not going to pay for something that I have in my hand before I go to the register. Perhaps I have that look. read more

If you like thrifting (I've only been here for clothes) and you have an afternoon to kill this is a great place to go! Sometimes it's organized, sometimes it's not- I think it depends on what time of day you go and how "picked thru" everything is. PRO TIP::: There are NO DRESSING ROOMS- so make sure you wear super tight leggings or shorty shorts and a tank that you can try things on over if you want to try something on. Also- the lighting is horrific, but youre in a big warehouse so that's to be expected. I've found some great gems here. read more

One person's trash is another person's treasure. My husband and I were donating a bunch of clothes at Mercy Warehouse recently, so we decided to check out the retail thrift store. While it's a dimly lit warehouse, it is fairly large with clothing and shoes on one side and household goods on the other. They also have a large selection of bikes and some golf clubs for sale. I wandered into the home goods section to see if there was anything worthwhile. They had their Christmas stuff out in the middle near the registers. I did find nice Long Da bone china set of 4-bowls, 4-plates, and 4-spoons with red double happiness symbols and golden dragons. I was really excited because the pieces were intact and not chipped. For the set, I paid $20 plus tax. I went to purchase at the register and the person helping me asked if I needed a bag. I said no but I did ask for her to wrap up the pieces. She haphazardly wrapped the pieces together (bowls wrapped as a stack, plates wrapped as a stack, and spoons wrapped as a stack) when she should have wrapped them each individually to ensure they would not break. Luckily, we weren't going far and I got my pieces home without much issue. But even I know other places will wrap individually to avoid breakage. read more

Mercy Warehouse - Thrift Stores Near Me - Laguna Niguel, California

One of the best thrift stores in Southern CA. They are very organized and the prices are really reasonable. I have a hard time visiting other thrift stores now! This is my kids' favorite store. They ask for gift cards for their birthdays for Mercy Warehouse. And it's awesome to get toys and clothes there and then donate when we are done with them. read more

Pros: Cleaner & bigger than most thrift stores. Prices weren't that bad. Cons: Difficult to walk around, especially with a cart. It feels like no more than 2 people can be at the same aisle. The lack of lighting, music, just the overall atmosphere made this place feel kinda depressing. read more

This place is MASSIVE! So many fun aisles to explore and tons of great items to be discovered here!

Love that they empty my car of donated goods. Always asks if I would like a receipt. Very satisfied. Have not gone inside.

This is one of my favorite places to thrift - I almost didn't want to write a review but it's always crowded anyway :) plus it's a great cause that deserves all the love. They help feed the homeless and do outreach. If you're really into thrifting like I am then you're going to spend at least an hour or two here just sifting through everything. They have a " designer" section which has a mix of mid level brands, high end and new clothes. If you like something, pick it up and carry it or else it will be gone. They are constantly putting new items out every hour. A lot of the clothes are from popular brands. I've found Vince, Kate spade, Tory Burch, Beis, Bonobos, Aritzia, UGGs, Lululemon, Alo, Athleta, Tiffany & Co, etc all in great condition. They also have a lot of furniture, electronics, etc that is constantly getting restock too! They also have a great selection of books too. All the employees (or volunteers? Not sure) have been nice to me! Some are more on the religious / preachy but it's expected since it's associated with the church next door. Donating items is a breeze but can get congested since it seems like everyone is donating here. They have a whole process so I've never had to wait long to get things donated. read more

I thoroughly enjoy thrifting here. It's huge and has lots of options. Tons of art work and home supplies/tools. The people who work here and kind hearted and always helpful. Unfortunately it gets extremely hot in here so I always feel bad for the workers. read more

They have a big selection for women's clothes, and it seems vaguely organized by type of clothing but not by size for some of the clothes, which makes it more difficult/less efficient to shop. For someone who is used to Goodwill prices, some of the items such as the leather jacket seemed more steep. They also had an extensive selection for homegoods. Left without buying anything. Seems like a hit or miss kind of place! read more

I have loved going to Mercy Warehouse but I am getting so tired of thrift stores marking their prices up so high. I've seen some comments that say their prices are fair but I don't agree at all anymore!!! They get all their inventory for FREE from donations and let's not forget it's all heavily used for the most part. Not to mention, they have so much inventory in their warehouse and they could move it faster if they kept their prices lower. When I see costume jewelry that cost more than you can get at stores or art for $80, $125, $250?? That's not even original either. The furniture and even a bunch of the decor is all so expensive too. People shop here who can't afford to buy stuff at stores or are trying to save money and it should be the very bottom line price because again, it's USED INVENTORY!!!! read more

Amazing staff, good choice of items, some of them brand new. But little bit messy, fisrt i was meeseed up)

This morning I was waiting to come in and the door flew open and almost hit me. The chubby blonde with her hair up was SO rude. In front of all the customers waiting, she blamed me for standing too close to the door. This is supposed to be a Christian based thrift store but the employees don't act like it. Be prepared to spend time and dig. Check everything for stains. I found many almost great pieces. Pros: - huge inventory and decent prices for normal things (eg. I got a train track set for $5) - things are hung up and pretty neat and organized - some nicer things, maybe because it's been there for a while, are normal prices. I got a great free people denim jacket and newer season athleta shirts for $10 each. - there's bathrooms! Cons: - many nicer or not even that nice things are marked "boutique" and priced $10-25. I got a Lululemon run swiftly shirt for $10 and a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag for $25. However, I saw many random leggings for $10 -- for some reason all Disney, regardless of source, is boutique. - many items are not in correct size sections, none of the shoes for example are organized - no return policy (totally understandable - so make sure to check everything) - there was one mirror to try thing on in front of and the lighting is typical warehouse read more

This is a resale shop and it is tremendous! Great selection and prices! Lots of variety and items seemed to be in good shape

This is a great place for a treasure hunt. They have items you'd never find anywhere else. What sets this store apart for me are the cashiers -- they're always friendly and helpful. But none more so than LoriAnn. Whether she's working the register or stocking the shelves, she always has a kind word and a pleasant smile read more

Donation drop - Super organized and full service. Helpers were at my car within 30 seconds and someone directing traffic.

Its a wonderful place for second hand clothes and everything else! Lalala lalala lalala! Christmas trees already up.

Mercy Warehouse is our go-to place to drop off donations. Anyone who has kids know that they grow quickly and constantly need new things and outgrow old things. We also are always trying to trim down the toys around the house and get the toys that are loud out to someone who might appreciate them more. My MIL always manages to bring the loudest, plastic toys for the kids and after they play with them a few times they thankfully lose interest. Then we make a quick trip to Mercy and the toys can go to a new home that needs it. read more

This is my new fav thrift store, they have a huge selection and the prices are reasonable.

I've tried donating here three different times over the past few months, and unfortunately, it's been the same experience each time. I pull up with a car full of donations, and there are several workers around, but no one acknowledges me, offers to help, or even says a word. Today was no different -- I waited, but nobody came over, so I ended up driving away with bags of clothes and dropping them off at the Goodwill truck down the street instead. They are super helpful there. This isn't just a one-time issue; it's happened repeatedly. I really do want to support local organizations, but if donors are ignored and left standing there with no assistance, it's hard to feel like our contributions are valued. Sorry, but I'll be taking my donations elsewhere where they're more appreciated. read more

Be prepared to dig, but they have great finds if you're willing and staff was friendly! Went to find some household organizers in preparation for our expanding family and found so much more hahah. Words of caution: aside from probably buying more than you planned if you're anything like me ... be careful, with these digging type thrifts...it's on you to double check the quality of the items and watch out / be willing to accept damaged goods. All part of the adventure, happy digging! Pros: - large place with a lot of household items and clothes - decent organization for size and store type - decent deals if you dig - lots of parking in the area Cons: - it is work and takes time...I wouldn't come here in a rush - moderate risk of finding damaged goods, so check your stuff well - their "boutique" is kinda random, and tbh I wouldn't really trust it, they had good brands out in the general area and random brands in boutique read more

Mercy is great if you're a first time thrifter just wanting to see what thrift stores are all about. They have a large selection of things because it's a large warehouse and they take anything for donations. Unfortunately I've had pretty bad experiences in the last times I've gone and won't return to donate or shop there. First of all, donation is super easy, you just park and they help take everything out of your car or you put the items in bins yourself for them. After donations, I usually go directly into the store to browse. The kids toys are probably the most worthwhile and any miscellaneous you value in the store. The clothes section is not worth it at all. At the prices they're asking, for example women's sweater and kids puffy jackets for $10, I can get that at Costco brand new. What bothers me the most is that even though the sign for kids jacket is $5, the person that rang me up basically said oh the prices recently changed to 7 and when I questioned it more and the head cashier was called, she then said no winter jackets are $10. So why does the sign say "all kids jackets are $5" then? And why did the price just inflate again? I have no idea. I just know that this wasn't the first time I've tried to buy some clothing item or a bike that was "mislabeled" and they've come back with "oh the prices have changed" and whenever the head cashier comes, her response has always been more expensive. I don't bother buying anything she upsells. All I know is that I have been leaving feeling like they are money hungry. Also, their inflated clothing pricing structure really does need a change because there's just no way I would overpay for an item that was donated and in used condition, the clothes section really needs to be reconsidered. They've split up their "designer" brands with no name brands and charge for example $20 for a Columbia sweater with a hole on the side. A tip for those looking at clothes, try it on. I know it sounds weird but the two women's sweaters I thought were cute ended up having holes in the sleeves and a missing button. I wasn't expecting something perfect or brand new but if you're going to pay money, you would hope it's something in reusable condition unless you plan to cut it up and make a new outfit out of it. Just some things to consider. read more

Friend went in the warehouse and a few of their employees are sick and they got my friend really sick. Sure it smells weird and you never know what you're gonna get, but that is literally what we thrift for right? The racks are really well organized and taken care of -- especially the pants and jeans, which are hung diagonally by the side so you can see size and brand easily. I appreciate their "designer" rack too, although I would hardly put a North Face vest or Disneyland tshirt on it. On my last visit, I scored a sweet trippy mushroom hoodie that felt brand new for $7, as well as a $1 Hello Kitty water bottle. I was very tempted by a Rosie ODonnell Barbie from the 90s ($3) but couldn't justify explaining the purchase. Long story short, this place is huge and super fun to treasure hunt in. My one complaint is not all the prices are immediately apparent for clothing -- there must be a sign somewhere I keep missing? read more
