This store is usually neat and clean with good stock. The bummer is nothing is a dollar anymore, and items go upwards of $7. Things I bought last year for $5 were $6 or $7 this year. Same quality just a higher price. read more

I love this store for a couple of products that I buy a ton of regularly! Tonight, October 1, 2026 I was in the store for the 2nd time today. Everyone is usually very nice. Not the cashier Candice. Candice was the cashier and was so incredibly rude to me in front of a whole line of people. My credit card kept beeping twice when I "tapped it" so it cancelled itself out twice. Candice grabbed my credit out of my hand and said, "Move! Don't touch it, I'll do it!" I stepped back and it beeped twice for her. She told me in a nasty tone that I needed to call the bank because something's wrong with my card. I used a different card and the same thing happened! I said I will swipe my card instead of tapping it and she said, This is not going to work- you need to call your bank. I said, I'm trying it anyway! It worked! Something was wrong with the machine, not me and not my cards! She was so incredibly rude and disrespectful. Never apologized. I am in sales and customer service and would never have someone like her working in my establishment. Hateful woman. read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Aliso Viejo, California

Heads up, y'all: most of the balloons are now $2 instead of $1.50 starting March 2025 -- and the cashier didn't even mention it. Also, this Elderberry Red Bull? No price label, but rang up as $3.00 + $0.05 fee. Thankfully, it was worth it. read more

Better than expected. There is another bargain dollar store in the hood that I prefer but I found a couple gems here. I found a light gray SILICONE SPOON and SILICONE LADLE for cooking at a nice price. Also, I found an old classic favorite candy "BIT O' HONEY". The price was decent on a blue colored 3-pack mini notepad for scratch paper, so I grabbed that as well. I like the value here and will be back for sure. It has been a long time, but I am glad I "sniffed in". Very close to home too. read more

Dirty store. Trash on floor. First and last visit to this store. I'm used to the Laguna Woods store which is always nice

Who does not love the Dollar Tree? My number one go to when I throw a party or have any type of a celebration. And holidays... They sometimes have some cool stuff read more

The old lady at the register was incredibly rude. I feeling humiliated. I tried to buy a gift card, and she told me there was a $5 extra charge for the purse. I think I misunderstood, so when she finished ringing it up, I said, "Sorry, my bad, I don't want to buy it anymore." She got mad and started yelling at me in front of everyone, saying things like, "Now I have to avoid it," "I tried to communicate," and "What do I do now?" She even made faces at me. That's not how you treat people. It's part of the job to cancel a transaction, there's no reason to act like I ruined her day. Please hire staff with more patience and empathy I left feeling so uncomfortable. Terrible experience. read more

With 99 Cent Stores gone, we are counting on you Dollar Tree! This DT was stocked with some cute stuff!! I got these insanely cool Star Trek socks, bday party supplies, glow sticks, stickers, n things. The store was clean and the staff members went the extra mile to be kind. Great finds! read more

The problem with dollar stores and this one in particular is that nothing is a dollar and there are no price tags on anything. They have covered up the original .99 that was on all their packaging with a red sticker. No new prices and no signs indicating what anything costs. Just signs like "$3 and up". Now how does that help me. Is this extension cord $3 or $4 or $5 or....you see the problem. In my case that extension cord was actually $10 when I got to checkout which I promptly said "no way you guys need to put prices on stuff. I don't want that now" With such mismanagement I see this store going out of business by the end of the year read more

dollar tree not the same anymore They are barely anyone that works here line can be up to a half hour long Not a lot of stuff to buy. They raised the prices read more

I would say this place has a very decent selection, specifically for festive items such as balloons and things used to celebrate a birthday or party. The only downside is that not everything is in stock, so items such as numbered candles may not necessarily have all the numbers available. The selection in balloon colors is also a bit limited, however it definitely does the job and having basic colors is already a win for a discount store. The associates are helpful enough and even helped me explain why there was a bag charge on my receipt (even though I had my own bag) and the overall cost of items here is appropriate for the quality. I would certainly come back here for additional party supplies, without banking on the store to have everything available. read more

Well, I have to be honest. This Dollar Tree stinks! They never have any of the new products that I see online and even though the store is only a couple years old, somehow they made it look like it was there for 20 years. It looks so rundown. Some of the staff is also a little odd. Now I'm not trying to be mean but there is someone who works the cash register who makes completely inappropriate comments, i.e., telling me that I shouldn't be buying energy drinks because they're bad for me. OK seriously?? I'll drive the extra way to Lake Forest or MV read more

It's not a dollar anymore. But when you are planning a party especially a kids party. Cheaper to go here than to Party City. If you don't find it here, then go to Party City but I highly recommend going here first. So my kid is going to an Alien escape room for his bday. So his theme is Alien! We got some water based like games for give aways. We also got a cool bday hat for him! Give away bags- a pack of 12! And the #9 candle. Easy to spend a lot of $ here..I usually double check my cart again to see what I want to keep and what I want to buy. read more

Clean store, organized and the workers are all very nice and do their best. It can get busy but that's not their fault as there just a hiring shortage right now. So many businesses are having trouble finding workers. I'm happy there's a clean and organized dollar tree here. I was sad to see the bad reviews and wanted to give some cheers for their hard work read more

I asked my friend if she wanted anything from here while I was in the area. She didn't actually say anything so I went inside to have a look if there was anything worth getting. The cashier was kind of slow setting up but I was in no rush and there was no line. I just impulse purchased a few things and left. Not surprisingly I couldn't find what I was looking for but what I purchased was at least useable. read more

Tonight I was shopping there with my mom, We wanted to checkout @6:45 pm & there were no cashier available at the registers. We waited about 1 minute which was fine , cashier came and she didn't say Hi to us or any sorry for waiting. That was so unpolite and unprofessional as a cashier. She even didn't wrap the mugs that we bought & acted so rude. Her name was YASMIN. read more

A lot of cheap stuff. Especially cleaning supplies and little items. Some candy and perishables too

Overall a great store. Like the other review mentions, there are a lot of products at this one I have not seen at the other local locations. I was excited they already had Valentine's day balloons (and a great selection of them), it seemed like a couple of the shelves were still "in progress" which is to be expected since they haven't been open log. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be shopping at this location read more

Won't come here again. The Indian man named Samy(according to the receipt) double charged me for 2 items. When I told him he said "no I didn't". But in fact you did. I didn't get 2 napkins or 2 toothpaste... So enjoy my $2.50. Won't come back here. 99cent store is cheaper anyways. read more

I used to frequent this store because the man in charge kept in impeccable and always in tip top shape. There was an Asian cashier who was phenomenal but since Covid it is disgusting, dirty and the aisles are an obstacle course. The manager was SO RUDE!! She yelled at her employees and yelled at all the customers. Not sure her name. Sort of overweight woman. 30-40 years old. The price was wrong on one item and she had smack with me and talked back, while yelling at her employees and nearby customers. Whoever she is I hope she gets fired and a new manager can be issued!! read more

My mom and her friend purchased some dry flowers to take to forest lawn. When they found out they couldn't place artificial flowers, they took them back to dollar tree. They didn't know the returns were not available only exchange. The cashier was so Rude an threw the items down and refused to help them. Said she didn't know how to do this. Made the ladies feel terrible and embarrassed. There's no reason to treat customers in that manner. Regardless If the cashier knows how to do they or not. They need to train their employees better about customer service. read more

Everything there is pretty nice and clean. The items there are worth their price. However, some of their staff and not too nice.

Lee the store manager refused to speak to me after embarrassing me in front of all the customers about the order of operations of waiting in line. In front of my children too. Very sad. Then he has the nerve to say " I don't care I will not talk to you ". Not sure how upper management runs these corporations with this type of service. Do not recommend this establishment. read more

New and beautiful looking but they are not enforcing the people spacing for COVID. They allow for big lines and having folks stand right behind each other. I mentioned it and They said there was nothing they can do. I disagree. The dollar tree On el Toro has good guidelines and enforced people to wear masks and keep their distance. Very disappointing to see that for the new opening. read more
