Better than expected. There is another bargain dollar store in the hood that I prefer but I found a couple gems here. I found a light gray SILICONE SPOON and SILICONE LADLE for cooking at a nice price. Also, I found an old classic favorite candy "BIT O' HONEY". The price was decent on a blue colored 3-pack mini notepad for scratch paper, so I grabbed that as well. I like the value here and will be back for sure. It has been a long time, but I am glad I "sniffed in". Very close to home too. read more

The old lady at the register was incredibly rude. I feeling humiliated. I tried to buy a gift card, and she told me there was a $5 extra charge for the purse. I think I misunderstood, so when she finished ringing it up, I said, "Sorry, my bad, I don't want to buy it anymore." She got mad and started yelling at me in front of everyone, saying things like, "Now I have to avoid it," "I tried to communicate," and "What do I do now?" She even made faces at me. That's not how you treat people. It's part of the job to cancel a transaction, there's no reason to act like I ruined her day. The problem with dollar stores and this one in particular is that nothing is a dollar and there are no price tags on anything. They have covered up the original .99 that was on all their packaging with a red sticker. No new prices and no signs indicating what anything costs. Just signs like "$3 and up". Now how does that help me. Is this extension cord $3 or $4 or $5 or....you see the problem. In my case that extension cord was actually $10 when I got to checkout which I promptly said "no way you guys need to put prices on stuff. I don't want that now" With such mismanagement I see this store going out of business by the end of the year read more

I would say this place has a very decent selection, specifically for festive items such as balloons and things used to celebrate a birthday or party. The only downside is that not everything is in stock, so items such as numbered candles may not necessarily have all the numbers available. The selection in balloon colors is also a bit limited, however it definitely does the job and having basic colors is already a win for a discount store. The associates are helpful enough and even helped me explain why there was a bag charge on my receipt (even though I had my own bag) and the overall cost of items here is appropriate for the quality. I would certainly come back here for additional party supplies, without banking on the store to have everything available. read more

Well, I have to be honest. This Dollar Tree stinks! They never have any of the new products that I see online and even though the store is only a couple years old, somehow they made it look like it was there for 20 years. It looks so rundown. There was an Asian cashier who was phenomenal but since Covid it is disgusting, dirty and the aisles are an obstacle course. My mom and her friend purchased some dry flowers to take to forest lawn. When they found out they couldn't place artificial flowers, they took them back to dollar tree. They didn't know the returns were not available only exchange. The cashier was so Rude an threw the items down and refused to help them. Said she didn't know how to do this.
