Rude "manager" named Daryl (guy with a ponytail). Sunday 06/29/25 I ordered a carry out order. As I pulled up to the pick up spot and waited for my food it started to rain. I had already expected to wait since this location usually doesn't bring food out until 10 minutes after it's supposed to be ready so I was prepared for the delay because of the sudden rain. Sure enough, around 10 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready I get a call from "Culver's" (Daryl) asking me to come to the drive-thru area to get my order. No problem, right? Wrong. The line was 6 cars deep and no one was moving. I called back and asked if I was supposed to stay in line or pull up since my order had already been sitting for over 10 minutes at this point. Daryl scoffed on the phone and told me he would not be sending HIS employees out in this "storm." It had been raining when I got there, but it was lightly drizzling at best by this point. I asked him if I could just wait in the carry out area and he rudely said "Your food will be waiting for you at the drive-thru window." I pulled to the front of the store because like I said, it was lightly drizzling and I would just rather grab my food than interact with this dude at this point. I'm not trying to be difficult. I just want the food I specifically ordered ahead of time that has now been sitting for 15+ minutes. As I walked inside, I let the young man at the register know my name and that I was picking up my order. Daryl looked at me and said "You're Harper?" laughed and then grabbed my order. As he handed me my drink, a young employee came in from running an order outside and made some comment to Daryl. I looked at him and said "Oh, so you are running food outside?" Yes, I could've just grabbed my food and left but I was so irritated by the fact that I had now waited 20 minutes for my food and told that I had to wait in line for an order I had preordered because Daryl wouldn't have HIS staff walk outside in the weather. Daryl again laughed at me and said "Yeah I guess we are." and shoved my drink at me. I told him that wasn't good customer service to which he responded "Well you're not a good fucking customer." My jaw almost hit the floor. I immediately asked to speak to a manager. Daryl told me that they were all in the back and too busy to speak to me. I grabbed my food and left. After leaving my review on Yelp, I scrolled down to see I am not the only person to have had an issue with this specific employee. Which also tells me I won't be the last since management/owners continue having such an angry person employed at this location. I want to add that I also work in customer service and have dealt with my fair share of difficult customers. However, there is a big difference with a customer being difficult and an employee looking for a conflict. My advice to Daryl - don't work in customer service. I have loved coming to Culver's since I moved to Austin two years ago. The one that closed down off of Burnet road was amazing and the staff was so friendly and welcoming, which is half of the reason I continued going back. I've had no choice but to drive to this location since the other one closed and have honestly had nothing but bad experiences. This was just the last one I'm willing to endure for mediocre food that comes out cold. read more

Eh wasn't impressed. I finally went to try this place and didn't see why such a long line . I'll have to give another try but it will not be soon for I felt sick after eating here ; I'm assuming the greasiness. Location : prime right next to chick fila so be prepared for busy. I've never been to a Culver's because we do not have them here in CA. I will say it is by far one of the best smashburgers I've had in a really long time. The closest thing to Culver's in CA and it's by a long stretch would have to be Shake Shack. Maybe it is the Southern Charm but everyone was extremely nice and patience with my boyfriend and I as we have never been. I ordered a Butterburger with bacon, pickles, cheese, mayo, lettuce and tomato. I always have an issue when it comes to the pickles on my burger because for a good majority of the time the pickles are soggy and limp by the time I am able to eat my sandwich. This was definitely not the case. My boyfriend ordered the chicken tenders and he loved them because the breading was not thick and the chicken actually tasted like chicken. The fries were great as well. Another family member had us try the onion rings which had a nice golden brown to them. Which was fantastic. The fish COD dinner tasted amazing as well. It was really fresh compared to most places that serve fish. But nothing beats the amazing Concrete mixer that we had it was on a different playing field than anything that is like ice cream I have had. Just thinking about this place is making my mouth water. Everyone here mentions In n Out and Whataburger. Those are probably the most overrated turds I've ever been too. I've been here twice, once for dessert and once for dinner. Both times, the restaurant has been spotlessly clean. The service has been equally stellar as well. Both times, we took advantage of the opportunity to customize. The first time, we tried custom sundaes. The frozen custard was excellent. The second time, we tried building our own burger baskets. Fries? The crinkle cut fries are crispy and have just enough salt to enhance the flavor. Burgers? One of the better fast food burgers I've tried. The burgers are just about the right size between tiny and oversized. The burger was cooked to perfection being cooked thoroughly, but still juicy. And the bun was perfectly toasted. This was the first visit to this location and I am glad that I stop by. This is in a great location and feel it be an outstanding restaurant for this area. Food: With some many great choices and custards combination, it was hard to decide. Love that everything is cooked to order, and they are willing to modify their menu to the way you like it. I ordered the Wisconsin Swiss Melt, and it was just okay. I rather have my cheese in between my patties and possible some thousand-island dressing on it or something with that flavor, it probably be a little bit better. My fries were good, and my milkshake was decent as well. Service: Staff was pleasant and willing to assist. All staff look very clean and was willing to keep the restaurant looking very clean. Everyone seem to help each other, and staff came by and made sure that your food was made to your liking. Customer service from the staff was excellent and something that I hope is constantly reinforced. Overall: I think this is a great establishment and it offers some great selections. It is in a prime location after a great Dell Diamond baseball game, down the street from the new resort and easily to get to from a busy highway. They have a great staff and parking is adequate. I placed an order online for pickup for my staff. We immediately got busy and couldn't leave to pick it up! About 20 minutes later I received a phone call from Culver's asking if we were close. I told him we were 10 min away. He stated that our food was under the lamp but getting cold so he was going to wait 5 minutes then remake everything because they wanted our order to be fresh for us. I haven't had Culver's in a long time, and it was even better than I remember! The parking lot was pretty full, so I thought that I would have a long wait, but my food came out very quickly. The service was also incredible, the employees were so friendly and considerate! It seemed like despite the rush, they were organized and handling it okay. Hands down over Chick-fil-A!!! I would definitely choose this over Chick-fil-A every time. Had pretty much everything off the menu and it is super excellent. Love the crinkle cut fries the best! Always fresh hot, and crispy. Pricing is about the same as everyone else, but food is waaaaaay better. Only complaint I have is that you have to request ketchup it doesn't come with anything on it. The cheese curds! I love them so much! The ice cream is great as well, of course. I wish they had more vegetarian meal options. Buying more then just the curds would be amazing. This was my first visit. I decided to try Culver's out since I've received some coupons. I noticed the inside was open, but I went through the drive thru. I ordered a cod fish dinner that includes fries and cole slaw. I opted for broccoli instead of cole slaw. I also ordered a mini concrete mixer (vanilla and Oreo). After I paid, the cashier put a number on my window. I was told to pull up and someone would bring my food to me. I asked the cashier why did I have to wait for my food. The cashier stated the food is fresh and made after I order. I must admit the food was fresh and very hot! The food comes in a plastic container. Nice presentation. I didn't know the dinner meal didn't include a drink. I wasn't asked if I wanted a drink. I went back through the drive thru and inquired about a drink and was told only the basket meals came with a drink. Customer service was good and I didn't have to wait long for my food. The broccoli tasted and looked like it's from the frozen section of the grocery store. The fries were salty. The breaded cod was good. The mini concrete mixer was good. read more

Pulled into the drive thru lane at 11:11 with three cars ahead of us. Coworker and I are one of those annoying people that order separate orders in drive thru. They didn't seem to mind but we were given a number and asked to pull forward so they could bring our food out. Not only did they get our orders wrong, but we also came from out of town to dine in and the emo cashier with long hair and pink finger nails was beyond rude. He huffed and puffed at people ordering 20 minutes before closing and also interrupted customers, my family included to tell us they are closing and we need to leave. We were kicked out 7 minutes before closing and told we could all hang out outside. I manage a restaurant as well and never in a million years would I kick customers out or make them feel unwanted. We are big fans of Culver's! Been to the Braker location many times and have always been impressed with the quality of food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. Got to know George, the owner of that location pretty well. Love the pork tenderloin sandwiches! The only downside has been the distance from Round Rock to Culver's on Braker. Then I read that a new Culver's was opening in Round Rock. Happy Days! A week after it opened, a friend and I stopped in for lunch. We both ordered butter burger baskets and they were just as good as the Braker location. I also met the young couple that owns the new Culvers and found out that George also had a financial interest in the Round Rock Culvers. It's a great addition to the Round Rock dining scene and hope they do well! Caution - if you order a Butter Burger, they give you a double unless you ask for a single. Took the family out here because we usually enjoy the burgers and shakes, but today they completely dropped the ball. Messed up on our order 3 times. First mistake, my wife ordered original chicken tenders and we got buffalo. Pointed out the error after receiving it and they corrected it. She waited while the rest of us ate. Second mistake, my nephew ordered triple sour dough and only received 2 patties and cheese. He had ate about 1/2 before noticing and was told to wait while they make him a piece of meat and cheese to stick in the burger. Didn't get a pic of it but it was a bs attempt instead of remaking the burger. Basically said we didn't catch their mistake early enough and that's the best they can do. Asked for the manager and he said he was the front manager. Finally mistake 3, my daughter's got frozen custard.
