Dan the manager very young kid that does not take a customer complain to well, when a hamburger is given like someone sat in them, the option they give is do not toast the bun. Who trains this people? Coming from Chicago and Milwaukee where we have Culver's I have never seen this before. The best thing about Culver's is the Butter bread not the I sat in your burger bread. Dan is to young and his feelings get hurts when ever I showed him the Burger, Got offended. This are not Mc donald Burgers this are a little bit up scale nice hot and very nice burgers, but I think when you hire kids that are joking at register is what you get. I've tried for the first time and order the bacon burger. No flavor at all, fries were soggy. However, they have fried shrimp that you can order by 6 or 10 pieces that were better than the burgers. I don't know if I will come back. read more

I'm the first to give a pass for a new food business as it takes a while to work out the issues, but my rating was more around price/value. My wife and I got coupons in the mail to drive trial usage so we decided to give this new Culver's a try for dinner. Since we had enjoyed a location in MO where we were exposed to their cod dinner entree, we wanted to have it again. So we each ordered the 3 piece cod dinner, asked for their good onion rings instead of fries which we were told we could in the drive through, no drinks and the bill was $30 and change, less a $2.00 coupon. The substitution for the ring was an extra $1.00 each. Lesson learned. The young lady at the window was very friendly and repeated back our order, correctly. When we got home we found only 1 tarter sauce and no catsup for the rings. Sadly the fish was greasy and the rings were also greasy and tasted like the oil they were fried in was old or used for everything. If this and the other new establishments coming in are only targeting future Kalahari tourists and not us Round Rock "locals," it may be a bumpy road ahead. The good news for us is one of our favorite fast food choices is next door, Chik Fil a. Not sure we'll be back to Culver's. read more

I went yesterday around 5:30 it wasn't busy at all. Got the fried shrimp. It was not good, tasted awful. A few hours later my stomach is killing me. I had this happen there before. I'm not impressed by the quality of food or the taste. The drive through folks are nice it don't seem to know the products. I hate to have a bad experience the one in Austin is fab. Tried this place for the first time on National Hamburger Day with a few friends. Onion rings are really good and the burger was good but nothing to throw a party over. The service is super slow for a fast food joint and two of our orders were wrong. I'd recommend the onion rings over the fries. Might return to try the chicken sandwich. read more

Tried Culver's for the first time and they know how to cook their fast food meats! We ordered the burger, fries, pretzel bites, cheese curds, fries, vanilla malt, and oreo concrete. Everything came as we asked for and the restaurant is CLEAN! Very rarely do you walk into a fast food restaurant and the place is spotless. Boyfriend is originally from the Midwest and he loved tasting these foods again. I really enjoyed the meal and can't wait till the next time we head to culvers. read more

There are several reasons this is the only 'fast food' I'll eat. Were there actual taco shops in central Texas- it would be a different story. So- the first thing to know about Culver's is, their burgers are the BEST. They are of the thin, crispy edged variety (hence BEST), and are served on a soft, fresh bun with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and raw red onion. Perfection. Not fancy, just perfect. Secondly, fried cheese curds... are you KIDDING me?? Where have these hot, stringy, salty bites of deliciousness been all my life? Third- service. These young folks - all that I've encountered - are friendly, polite and helpful. They still offer table service! Adorable - ALL of em. Fourth is obviously the frozen custard. I'm simple - the chocolate custard with salted caramel sauce is something I literally day dream about. Amazing. And lastly, the place is clean, pleasant and the prices are ridiculously good. Exactly what I hope for from a fast food burger place. I've only been there twice and both times the burger and fries were fresh and delicious. Fries were crispy and super hot. Burger was hot but toppings (e.g. lettuce onions) were the temp you would expect, and it was great. Smash burger style with tasty char. And the drive thru was quick each time. The ice cream is great too. Haven't tried the other chicken or fish options yet. read more

Always consistently delicious & fresh. It feels like a home Sunday dinner when you enter the restaurant. Clean and bright with very friendly staff. The burger tastes just like off a home barbeq grill. There is nothing that I've tried thst wasn't delicious. I've read some critical reviews but keep in mind the pandemic and inflation and the ongoing struggle businesses have to keep afloat. I have been here a few times for drive thru. The food has been good every time. The burgers are a good size and tasty. The fries are crinkle style and don't come with a large amount. With that being said the prices are also reasonable for the portions. The reason for 4 stars is because, of the concrete mixer we ordered for dessert. We ordered the cookies and cream and definitely had like two pieces of cookies and rest was mostly vanilla ice cream. So would of liked more cookie pieces. Lastly service is always good. My order has not been incorrect and employees are friendly. Will return in future and just skip the concrete mixer. :) read more

You get 5 stars for the friendly cashier who got the order right. She was a short blonde girl with glasses. Give her a raise. She's the real deal. She's every reason I come to a Culver's...friendly service. You get 1 star for dropping cold food on the table like we were dogs. The single deluxe...no Mayo, sub mustard, no onion, came with Mayo, bacon, and no mustard. The burger was cold, as was the cheese. It wasn't even melted. My son ate 1 tender and stopped, as they were cold as well. We didn't wait long for our order, so I don't know what the issue was. I've been going to Culver's for a long time, going all the way back to when I lived in Minnesota. This was easily the worst Culver's food I've ever had. I worked at a Burger King at a truck stop. I hear from people all around Round Rock about the great choices, flavor, and options at WhatABurger. In my humble opinion, Culver's is superior in just about every category, and importantly in quick quality service. And for those who are so inclined, you can also get gluten free options. For taste test the better choice is Hop Dobbies ... but Culver's is very close and must less expensive so you can actually enjoy an evening out more often. read more

Had Culver's in Florida and was really excited for one to open so close to our house. The building literally opened less than a month ago so it's spotless. We came on a random Wednesday for lunch and it was packed. They really could use more parking (may be because it just opened it will probably get better). They did have a ton of workers however and it was quick to order. I got chicken fingers and my fiancé got a chicken sandwich. Fantastic onion rings and crinkle fries. The chicken fingers weren't greasy at all and where super crispy. Overall great. Can't wait to try the ice cream! read more

The location tempted us initially to try this place when it first opened. But, definitely, the food has kept us coming back. We're particular fans of the spicy chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger, and of course the fries. Tried the cheese curds, not huge fans--they just tend to leave something more to be desired. They have sweet potato fries now, which are also pretty fantastic. People there have always been pretty nice to us, so it's generally a pleasant experience. I would recommend going inside rather than the drive thru, we always have had to go around the corner to wait for the food to be brought out, even when there was no line, and sometimes they've forgotten sauces, etc. read more

I typically don't have high expectations for fast food, however Culver's over delivered :). The cashiers were very upbeat and positive (despite rush hour). Super friendly. Order was placed, received a number, took a seat and food was received relatively quickly by a server with another smile. I got the fish and chips and it was pretty delicious! It was real fish the batter was perfectly crisp. The onion rings are also amazing and you can get cheese sauce to dip them in! If all that wasn't enough, I finished it off with a chocolate sundae which was phenomenal. It was the turtle, so it had caramel and pecans... So good. On every occasion I've gone to this location to get the Flavor of the Day, the experience is somewhat disappointing. But today I went in to get their new Flavor of the Day, Espresso Toffee Bar, and it was by far the worst experience to date. Picture shows what I got vs. what was advertised. Every time I go eat here I witness a child who is working being verbally abused by a "supervisor or manager". I imagine that this is these kids first jobs and having to work in a toxic environment. Out of curiosity I called to see how much these kids make. $10 per hour in comparison to other fast food places that pay much higher. I've been to the Culver's located in Austin and became an instant regular. The quality of the food sets itself apart from the usual fast food burger joint. I was so excited to see that they opened up a new location down the street from me, but also sad that I'd be eating fast food more regularly. It's no surprise to have seen how busy they were when we visited. But the service was great and they were able to take orders and provide the food in a timely fashion. My 4 year old absolutely loves their chicken strips which were super fresh and actually tasted like real chicken, unlike most fast food joints. The Butter Burgers here are delicious. I get mine with mushroom and Swiss, which you should definitely try out. The desserts, of course, are amazing. Not crazy about the cheese curds, but I can see how you'd want to substitute fries from time to time. All in all, a solid addition to the food choices in Round Rock. read more

Moving from Milwaukee I know what should b the quality at Culver's. This one really is a disappointment ! Burgers are small ... other sandwiches too. Custard is good ... not a disappointment . I'll not go back as when I showed them our sandwiches we only got a" sorry ". . No offer to remake the food. . There are other good places to go to but CULVERS now has my "yuck" award.
