Okay Culver's... I see you. Because this was redemption. My first visit didn't do it for me, but this time? Whole different experience. The burgers were legit. Cooked to order, juicy and full of flavor. That buttered, toasted bun? Soft with just enough crisp to hold everything together without falling apart. And yes--everything that was supposed to come on the burger actually showed up. (We love consistency.) The mushroom and Swiss burger deserves its own moment. Those butter-sautéed mushrooms with garlic and seasoning paired with the Swiss cheese? Whew. That's the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-chew. Now the chocolate malt... listen. Thick, creamy, made with fresh frozen custard and real dairy--it didn't even make it to the "perfect picture" stage because I was already in it. It was that good. Friendly drive-thru service, minimal wait, and prices that didn't make me side-eye my receipt. Culver's came back strong on this one. And just like that... I'm back in. read more

The service was okay overall, but my first experience at this restaurant was unpleasant. One employee sat in the dining area complaining loudly about having to work, including working over the holidays and other issues with the restaurant. She was speaking with another employee who was on break, while she appeared to be on the clock and supposed to be cleaning the dining area. Even the employee she was talking to asked if she was on the clock, and she shrugged and continued complaining. It was uncomfortable enough that my children asked why she seemed so angry. I used to love this location. My food felt a little rushed. I think maybe because it was at the end of the night. My cheese wasn't melted when I got my burger. It was really let down about this. This is a great addition to Georgetown. So glad they opened a restaurant here. Their food is great. However, I can't eat fried foods so I'm limited with what I can order. Loved the crinkled fries, the cheese curds and the onion rings had such a nice flavor and crunch. However both the onion rings and cheese curds were a tad bit salty as a side to the deluxe burger which was salty as well. Flavor was good on the burger but it was also quite greasy. We also got the vanilla concrete mixer and I was not impressed; Freddy's custard is much much better, this just tasted like soft serve. The drive through screen is broken and the guy taking our order didn't repeat our order UNTIL we pulled up and was about to pay. We realized there were some errors in the order and when we tried to let him know, he was a bit sassy telling us that we had confirmed with him what we wanted and that it was our fault. We ended up just taking the original order because he didn't seem inclined to make changes. Overall just an okay experience. I would be back for the sides as a snack but not much else. read more

When I reached out with a complaint, the manager failed to apologize and instead spent the entire response justifying the poor quality. My wife and I came in around 8:30 PM on a Monday -- plenty of time before they closed at 10. We ordered food to dine in, but they told us we had to sit on the far left side of the restaurant. Okay, no problem... until a guy comes over with a bucket of bleach and starts mopping right next to our table. The smell was overwhelming. We tried to move to a cleaner, more comfortable area where other customers were sitting, but they told us again we had to sit on the left side. When I explained I couldn't sit near the bleach, the young man with the ponytail laughed at me. I said forget it -- we'll just take the food to go. Back at the counter, same guy snickers and turns his head, calls out our order number like we're a joke. Then we're told to wait outside. After a few minutes, we honestly felt so uncomfortable ( not knowing what they might do to the food ) that we left without the food and decided to contact the owners listed on the front door. I called the next day and they said the owners had just left. It's now been 4 days, no response, and today I was told they're on vacation. I don't expect fine dining, but basic respect. read more

Kept hearing how great this place was, so finally gave in to try it. Such a letdown. Horrendous smell coming from the bathroom the second we stepped through the door. We had to repeat what we wanted on our burgers multiple times (pretty standard toppings), but they eventually got it. Burger is nothing special and pretty greasy. The condiments were plopped on as one small dollop in the middle of the burger, so you're eating it dry until halfway through. I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, but was served only mashed potatoes (no gravy) that were cold and grainy. There was absolutely no flavor to the mashed potatoes. They went uneaten. The only thing they came close to getting right were the fries. Crispy, though a bit salty. The concretes were creamy, but the texture grainy, which is off-putting and the toppings are blended in too deeply to really be enjoyed. A table near us had several problems with their order being complete and correct. They also have an efficiency issue where they take the order numbers from the table when they deliver the food, so when the second server comes around with the concretes, they can't find the right customer. We had to flag ours down. None of us plan to come back as there are much better burger and concrete options in the area. read more

Culver's is my favorite fast food in Austin, right up there with Chick-fil-A but with cheeseburgers and frozen custard. I've been going there for years and am never disappointed. The chain started in Wisconsin and makes a big deal about their connection to dairy and beef, and who can blame them? Their double butterburgers with cheese are delicious and you can ask them for grilled onions too, and they won't even charge extra. But of course just as important is the frozen custard which is better than regular ice cream and is so soft and creamy. It comes in vanilla, chocolate, and a rotating flavor of the day which is always something interesting so that's what I always get. There are dozens of toppings you can add, or turn it into a milkshake too. But I think the sundaes are the best. The dining room has plenty of booths and tables and some walls in the middle to make your experience a little quieter and cozy. It's a nice dark blue and wood combo with some stonework and everything is clean and nice since this location is relatively new. The music is usually oldies from the 1960s which is very welcome, and during December that means old classics from Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole that I love. read more

I LOVE Culver's, and am proud to say I visited the new location in Little Chute, WI just a few days after it opened in 2022...WI is the home and birthplace of Culver's (and has 149 locations)....a tradition ANY state should be proud of...but I digress. Tried the RR location on recent visit, and have to say the burger (a double CB) was one of the finest examples of Culver's burger art I have experienced! Absolutely spot on...meat cooked perfectly, fresh...a 10! And the custard, my favorite all time dessert, was as good as any I have had! Store was clean and people friendly. My first time at Culver's. The butter burger was delicious. One of the best fast food burgers I've had.

I'd never heard of Culver's before, but it was right next to the Kalahari resort where my family and I were staying, and we were looking for food that didn't cost an arm and a leg (like it does inside the resort). All of us were pleasantly surprised at the speed and ease of ordering from a real human person (I'm so tired of the computerized kiosks already). The self-service drink station was clean and in working order, something I can't say about many fast food locations these days. Within minutes of sitting down, our food was brought to the table -- exactly what we'd ordered -- and everything tasted great. My wife and I liked how quiet it was inside (this location has carpet and a drop ceiling, both of which are acoustic lifesavers but neither of which are found in many modern restaurants). The music was, I believe, 1950s hits -- not my favorite but ten times better than most restaurants in my home town which have switched over entirely to country music. Both kid meals came with a free scoop of frozen custard and it was tasty and was ready quickly. The only downside for me was the religious messaging on the electronic sign near the driveway... I don't need or want business establishments to share their religious sentiments with me, regardless of whether I agree with them (but especially when I don't). read more

I went here on Friday after work for some dinner. I hadn't been in a while. I really wanted a concrete too. I went through the drive through to order which was pretty fast. I ordered a cod fish combo with a mango strawberry cooler and a snickers concrete. Everything was so good. I finished my cooler before I ever got home lol. I also tried the chicken tenders which were very fresh and juicy. I will definitely be back to get some more of those. I don't got inside so I can't really speak on the ambiance but I always love getting curbside service. read more

WI girl in TX so I LOVE to see a Culver's! We come to this location to order through the drive thru twice a year when we're feeling homesick and need something comforting and yummy. I always get a turtle sundae and a family size of fries which comes in a large takeout container. We always ask for it double fried and never disappointed. Always, always have to get the Butter burger. Don't forget lots of sides of ranch. They also have one of my favorite honey mustards in the fast food game. We came here after an afternoon at Kalahari water park and enjoyed the experience. We actually sat outside where all the tables were pretty gross and dirty. I generally carry baby wipes and antibacterial wipes because I have younger kids and ended up cleaning our table. I was a bit disappointed that our table was dirty, but after about 15 minutes an employee came out to clean all the other tables. Glad to see that's happening. The food itself is "fast foot" but we had a variety of things and everything was good. My wife had a spicy chicken sandwich, while it was spicy and good, thought it was thin on the chicken and thick in the breading. Custard is great. Tea was great and staff was friendly. This is a family favorite visiting for years across the country. Not impressed with this location at all. No soap in bathrooms, trash on floor. Workers not focused. Food was subpar. Really disappointed in seeing trash in drink station, no tea on canisters, fries on floor under tables, etc. It's easy to overlook one mishap, but faculty reflected a staff not proud of the name. Kept looking for that leader watching over all aspects, but could not locate that person in mass of high school age kids working. Sadly, can't recommend this location. Burger didn't taste freshly made - tasted like it was cooked an hour before. Really hope they can turn around so we can try again in the future. Will watch for reviews to improve first. read more

Thankfully I have microwave . 15 seconds I got melted cheese . I knew I should have went to Jersey Mikes . I also got cheese curds and had to pay .35 for marinara side . Doesn't Freddy's give that to you for free? Not much positive here but the burger had a good char . Just wish it was fresh and not old . And just so everyone knows. I love the options at Culver's.. however every single time I have ordered I have always had an item missing from the order. I spent greater of $30 each visit and unfortunately always have a missing item whether it's a side to a meal or an actual burger. I asked tonight if my bag was complete because he had two bags in his hand and the guy bringing the food out handed me the bag and walked away without any response or gesture. My kids are sick (I'm a little sick too) and I was looking for a quick seratonin boost- HELLO CULVERS! I have been wanting to try this place out but it's right next to chick fil a and I'm sorry, but the choke hold CFA has on my kids Monday thru Saturday is unbelievable. Lucky for me.... It was Sunday! I'd order these again Buffalo Chicken Tenders - 5 out of 10 - I ordered kids meals and one of the meals was chicken tenders. When I placed my order she asked if I wanted regular or Buffalo and I got reg for my kid but decided life is short and ordered a 4 count Buffalo for myself. I think I was expecting a sauced tender but it was a dry spicy rub- not my fave but a little blue cheese dressing saved the day on these. Atlantic Cod Sandwich - 8.8 out of 10 - the crunchiness on the batter was unreal. The fish was flakey and super delicious- I realllllly enjoyed this. I wish they were a little more heavy handed on the tartar sauce but that's just personal preference. I will definitely be back for this. Concrete Mixer - 10 out of 10 - I got the minis and let me tell you, there is nothing mini about these. These are basically DQ Blizzards on steroids. The texture was sooooo creamy and thick, I had to steal some bites from my kids because I just couldn't resist. GET THE CONCRETE MIXERS! Kids meals- 6 out of 10 they were basic but good. I got one burger meal and one tender meal, both with their crinkle fries, and a chocolate milk. So why 3 stars? There was a hair in my kids burger. A short light Brown or blonde hair? I can't tell but it wasn't dark. I normally rip the burger in half so it's easier for my daughter to hold and that's the only reason I noticed. Otherwise we would've found out after she bit into it. I know it's an accident and don't think anyone purposely put a hair in the burger but it still grossed me out. Service was very polite and considering they make everything from scratch it was a quick drive thru line. I'll check this place out again for their concrete mixers, pretzel bites, and the cod sandwich. Rude "manager" named Daryl (guy with a ponytail). Sunday 06/29/25 I ordered a carry out order. As I pulled up to the pick up spot and waited for my food it started to rain. I had already expected to wait since this location usually doesn't bring food out until 10 minutes after it's supposed to be ready so I was prepared for the delay because of the sudden rain. Sure enough, around 10 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready I get a call from "Culver's" (Daryl) asking me to come to the drive-thru area to get my order. No problem, right? Wrong. The line was 6 cars deep and no one was moving. I called back and asked if I was supposed to stay in line or pull up since my order had already been sitting for over 10 minutes at this point. Daryl scoffed on the phone and told me he would not be sending HIS employees out in this "storm." It had been raining when I got there, but it was lightly drizzling at best by this point. I asked him if I could just wait in the carry out area and he rudely said "Your food will be waiting for you at the drive-thru window." I pulled to the front of the store because like I said, it was lightly drizzling and I would just rather grab my food than interact with this dude at this point. I'm not trying to be difficult. I just want the food I specifically ordered ahead of time that has now been sitting for 15+ minutes. As I walked inside, I let the young man at the register know my name and that I was picking up my order. Daryl looked at me and said "You're Harper?" laughed and then grabbed my order. As he handed me my drink, a young employee came in from running an order outside and made some comment to Daryl. I looked at him and said "Oh, so you are running food outside?" Yes, I could've just grabbed my food and left but I was so irritated by the fact that I had now waited 20 minutes for my food and told that I had to wait in line for an order I had preordered because Daryl wouldn't have HIS staff walk outside in the weather. Daryl again laughed at me and said "Yeah I guess we are." and shoved my drink at me. I told him that wasn't good customer service to which he responded "Well you're not a good fucking customer." My jaw almost hit the floor. I immediately asked to speak to a manager. Daryl told me that they were all in the back and too busy to speak to me. I grabbed my food and left. After leaving my review on Yelp, I scrolled down to see I am not the only person to have had an issue with this specific employee. Which also tells me I won't be the last since management/owners continue having such an angry person employed at this location. I want to add that I also work in customer service and have dealt with my fair share of difficult customers. However, there is a big difference with a customer being difficult and an employee looking for a conflict. My advice to Daryl - don't work in customer service. I have loved coming to Culver's since I moved to Austin two years ago. The one that closed down off of Burnet road was amazing and the staff was so friendly and welcoming, which is half of the reason I continued going back. I've had no choice but to drive to this location since the other one closed and have honestly had nothing but bad experiences. This was just the last one I'm willing to endure for mediocre food that comes out cold. read more

I've been here many times and the food and service are always top notch. 5/5 This particular review is for a visit on 11/19/2023 at approximately 630pm. My BIL went and picked up dinner for us. (Food was great/hot). I had received a sheet of coupons in the mail a week prior. One was for BOGO double meat butter burger. All the coupons showed the expiration date of 12/18/2023. BIL orders and proceeds to the window to pay. Girl at the window tells him the coupon had expired the day before. He can't read small print so he took her word for it. She kept the coupon. Yes, it expires on the 18th...but of DECEMBER, not November. I called the store directly and was sent to voicemail. I left a message for the manager asking for a refund for the burger. No response. The next day, I submitted a request online. Still nothing. Very disappointing given their customer service is usually awesome. I guess that doesn't extend to management. read more
