Thoroughly enjoyed the Italian dishes here. We had Calamari and Brussel Sprouts for appetizer. The fresh baked bread service comes out of the oven warm ready to dip into your olive oil sauce. There are several salads to choose from including the classic Caesar salad. I ordered the mushroom stuffed ravioli and others got the Rigatoni. Everything was absolutely delicious. We finished things off with tiramisu and cannoli. The peach bread pudding was warm and tasty! The dining room is separated out into several sections and includes a nice bar area with TV's. I did a pick up for their famous peach bread pudding. I've been a fan of this dessert for 10 plus years. It was really nice they do curbside pick up during Covid. When I got home, the caramel sauce and the fruit whipping cream where each in their own plastic container. The peach bread pudding was wrapped in Saran Wrap. I slightly heat up the pudding and then put it together. The dessert is not as good as I recall eating at the restaurant. The pudding was very firm and didn't have any peach taste to it. I have got to stop remembering what this place used to be like and except the fact that it's just an old, tired and less than mediocre Italian restaurant in Cherry Creek. 15 years ago I loved it, but today my pasta, pesto, entrée was swimming in oil and light on pesto. The spinach and sun-dried tomato chunks were so big they would have had to be cut to have a nice bite. But why bother when the pasta was so bland and greasy? As I was leaving, I glanced at other pasta plates, and they all looked similar. The pizza my husband had was just OK. Mici is a much better option right here in the area. Service, well, the waiter seemed stoned, and kept apologizing for his confusion. Wow - uncomfortable! With so many great options in Cherry Creek just skip this one. read more

SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! With my bestie working close by Cucina Colore it's safe to say I've heard great things over the years. So after grabbing an early dinner nearby, we popped in to satisfy our sweet tooth on some decadent desserts. We chose to split the crème brûlée and bread pudding. The crème brûlée was heavenly! It was the perfect texture and had just the right amount of caramelizing on top. The added berries make you feel just a teeny bit less guilty. The bread pudding was equally as tasty, but I was hooked on that crème brûlée! Our server was a doll and treated us as though we'd ordered a full meal. So sweet! Cute place! Wonderful service! Jade was very attentive and prompt with drink refills and checking on us throughout our stay. We started with the Caprese, garlic bread with oil and vinegar, and cream sodas. Raspberry and strawberry creme sodas were great. Caprese was flavorful and just the right amount. Gluten Free pizza was crispy and didn't taste gluten free. The regular pizza was crispy and chewy on the inside. Calamari was crispy with pepperoncini garnish. Chicken marsala was a huge portion and tickled the tastebuds. Dessert was tiramisu and cannoli filling. All of it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to a friend! Place looks nice. But I was very disappointed. Went in for 2 take out cappuccinos. The waitress warned me that their cups only come in one size: small. I said OK. Price was not small. After much waiting, she gives me ONE cup, small cup. I said I asked for 2 cappuccinos. She said "Oh it's a double shot." Well I don't want a double espresso. We requested extra bolognese on the eggplant lasagna in which there was a $5.00 charge , in which i am completely fine with . Upon leaving my wife requested a bit more to add on the left over portion we were taking home . It could not be over more than one small laddle full . For that the server charged $10.00. Good food, fabulous service from our server Terra. I was so excited to see they had my favorite rosé "Aix" but it's only in a small bottle so our server made some great recommendations for a full bottle substitute. Loved the peach bread pudding as always. One thing I did notice was the calamari had barely any aioli/marinara and also no lemons, who serves seafood with no lemons?! My husband and I had a pleasant dinner at Cucina Colore. We went on a Friday night at peak dinner time - around 7:30 - and expected to wait ~30 minutes (it was quite a full house). We only ended up waiting for 15-20 minutes, which was a nice surprise. As a random aside, the hostess had a bit of an unnerving demeanor - reminded us of Stepford Wives - though she was nice and not to be considered a negative aspect; just a note. We were initially planning to order wine since the selection was huge, but the cocktail list sounded tasty so we went that route instead. We loved all of them except for the Butter Rum one -- too sweet. As far as food goes, Cucina Colore is on the pricier side, so we stuck to entrees only. We both were craving pizza and ordered the Pollo. It was delicious! We ordered a second so that we could take home leftovers. We also ordered a Creme Brulee. Not the best I've ever had, but good nonetheless. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant (he messed up our dessert order, but quickly rectified the situation). Lastly, I have the say... the decor was disappointing. It felt disjointed and was not visually appealing; surprising for a nice (mildly expensive) place in Cherry Creek North. While I may not be a regular dinner patron - my family is extremely Italian and this did not meet all my criterion - I do plan to return to take advantage of their happy hours once the weather warms up. read more

Our meal was mediocre. My wife ordered rigatoni and substituted spinach and broccoli for the sausage and meatballs The sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. But what was worse they charged us $2.00 for each of the vegetables, and when I complained they took off only 1. My veal Marsala was tough. They did not serve us any bread either. It is obvious that the new ownership is cutting corners. We won't go back again. They also tacked on that annoying living wage surcharge that I had them remove. If they can't afford to pay their employees a living wage, why should we. So many restaurants here in Denver add that despite having raised their prices, and I'm tired of it. We came in for our first time on Christmas Eve after making reservations for 4pm. Parking was available behind the building for customers, which can come in handy in busy Cherry Creek. The host and server were average to slightly better than average. The restaurant was warm inside on a cold day. The ambiance was nice. Our two person table was a bit tighter than I prefer. We ordered a recommended Cabernet and Sangria that were delicious. We also enjoyed two enjoyable recommended pasta dishes with red sauce and white sauce, see photos. We were also served enjoyable bread to enjoy with the dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were extremely fair. We did not order an appetizer or pizza this time, but plan to come back for that experience in the future. The outside atmosphere during Christmas time was very magical. We were looking for the best pizza in Cherry Creek and this restaurant came up so we gave it a try. The pizza is far away from being authentic Italian and selection is very limited. Others in our party had the daily pasta recommendation and the Masala meet dish, which both were also just okay. The table we had was in a dark spot all the way in the back and I am just not the kind of person who likes to be greeted by a hostess that has super long plastic nails and wears a crop top in this kind of restaurant environment, fashion or not. What they want to be or pretend to be and what they are in reality is far from each other. Our waitress though was sweet and nice. Service over all was great. If I could rate 5 stars on the service alone, I would. Our server was amazing. She was super nice, gave us all the sides we asked for. (I came with my parents and they can be very demanding) and she was amazing. The foam on my latte was amazing and that was just the start of her incredible service. I wish I remember her name. I hope this review gets back to her. There were 3 of us sitting in the furthest corner of the patio. You were incredible. Now. The food. I have some thoughts. We came for lunch and got the italiano sandwich, and the orzo and arugula salad. My parents seemed to really enjoy their sandwich and orzo salad, however the arugula salad left much to be desired. The salad itself was really dry with only the truffle butter and olive oil, I had to ask for another side of lemon vinaigrette which made it more palatable. It was so dry at first bite. The best way I've enjoyed the salad itself was several hours later after the arugula had broke down and added my own balsamic glaze and cooked white rice. Very mid in terms of salad. So overall, based on what I personally ate and the service itself, Service: 15/10 Food 6/10 Service: Girl, if you see this you know who you are. Thank you for making today so enjoyable. You are kind, friendly, enjoyable, and make a d*mn good latte foam. (I didn't check before I left but I hope my parents tipped okay) To the chefs: I know it's not your fault at all. Send an extra side of dressing or ask your servers to offer extra sides of any kind of dressing. If I knew balsamic glaze was an option there, that would have saved the salad for me.
