I highly recommend the peach bread pudding in addition to the vanilla gelato with berries. The truffino pizza was unbelievable! I will definitely be back for that guy and highly recommend to try that. The complimentary focaccia is so mouthwatering, and soft! They were out of a lot of the mocktail suggestions that day. The alcoholic beverages looked amazing, but it was Easter and I don't drink on that day. The patio was perfect for early patio season.

I liked this place. I ordered the Conchiglie, don't ask me how to pronounce it - it was delicious though! The service was very friendly and the waiter Alex was attentive and helpful with drink pairings. Next time I visit, I will try and opt for sitting inside or the patio on the other side as the patio area they sat us on 3rd ave felt more like the sidewalk than a true patio. Overall, solid choice for an Italian food spot in my one-time opinion. Hope to be back!

Delicious Seafood Pasta I ordered the Spaghettini and it did not disappoint. The scallops and shrimp were perfectly seared, and the spinach and roasted tomato added a lot of yum! The only miss for me was the breadstick. I think it is garlic cornbread. I may be wrong, that's just what it tastes like. Interesting twist though!

My wife had a craving for Italian food and this was one of three options we found in our area we were staying. Looking online at their menu, I felt like it was the perfect spot as they had almost the exact dish my wife was craving! So after walking here and stepping inside the friendly host sat us down and our servers greeted us. The vibe/atmosphere was modern and leaning towards upscale without trying to be fine-dining/fancy. Unfortunately, one first thing our servers said was that they recently changed the menu....guess what dish was longer offered as we saw?! We will get back to that. We did start out with their focaccia complimentary if asked and it was delicious bread to start our meal! I decided to try their Carne Pizza which was loaded with so much meat toppings that it would flop every time it was picked up. Very tasty pizza though! My wife was disappointed they did not have their shrimp scampi linguine meal anymore so went with a salmon dish and asked for shrimp instead. They obliged and charged $8 for doing so. I understand the up-charge as a dish is being altered but price seemed a little steep. Overall we enjoyed our meals and thought it was worth having. As of today, their online menu is not correct though just so you know. Some items are the same but not all.

If you've never been a huge fan of Italian food, take it from me--Cucina Colore in Cherry Creek completely changed my mind. Family-owned and operated since 1994 by Venanzio Momo--who grew up working in his mother's Italian deli and brought a wood-fired pizza tradition from New York--this neighborhood trattoria feels timeless yet fresh . Today for lunch: * I had the gnocchi -- perfectly cooked, rich, and flavorful. * My wife the chicken sandwich, juicy and satisfying. * My son devoured a pepperoni pizza (made in that original hearth oven tradition). * My niece loved her pasta, which tasted fresh and expertly balanced. Everything was delightfully made with fresh, high‑quality ingredients and a focus on true flavor--not gimmicks . But the real showstopper? The bread pudding for dessert--next level. Rich, warm, comforting, and the perfect end to lunch. From the warm, upscale-yet-approachable ambiance to attentive service and a seasonal menu that honors both classics and innovation, Cucina Colore is a spot I'll absolutely come back to--even though I wasn't initially an Italian food fan. I feel fortunate because read other reviews here that said it took 2 months to secure a Monday reservation. I recently decided that I am not going to live a gluten free lifestyle even if my 4th cousin from 23andme suggested that everyone on earth is gluten intolerant and there is a global conspiracy to poison us all with gluten ataxia. Starting with the bread, we were already impressed. The texture was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. There was another review that said it's not that great. Not sure what that persons problem is. I didn't know what to order so got the pasta rustica, a little marinara some ricotta. I understand from the other reviews that this is American Italian food but worked for me. My partner enjoyed the steak/Gorgonzola pasta. That was tasty too, I had the leftovers the next day! I learned the 2nd floor is for larger groups accessible only by stairs. I sat in the upstairs area which was not ideal being situated between the kitchen and he dishwashing room. My server, Janee introduced herself. She was formely with Ollie & Parks, their sister restaurant that closed in Match when an U-Haul truck hit the building. I started with an Aperol Spritz for $14. Then the Caprese Insalata. Plenty of tomatoes with thick slices of burrata all drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. Janee said Monday's are Pasta night where all pasta dishes normally $22 are $11.99; So I got the Fettuccine Carbonara with shrimp. Every table gets Foccacia with an olive oil & herb dip. But it was not Foccacia. On Pasta night you also get a Caesar salad. I added a glass of Agricola Punica "Samas" from the Italian island of Sardinia. A great smooth white Chardonnay & Vermentino blend for pasta. The fettuccine was correctly made with a cream sauce, prosciutto and peas. I got 5 large tail-on shrimps. They bring out a large bowl of grated parmesan cheese to add to your pasta. A nice touch. For dessert, I got the Limoncello cake with a 2nd glass of wine. But a weird issue popped up with the bill. Every food item was higher than the menu price. I asked Janee. She said their new POS software added in the card interchange fee which is 3%. But then I noticed the 9.15% sales tax was on the gross amount, not the actual food & drink amount. So they are overpaying sales tax which is lost revenue. I mentioned that to Janee. A different person said he would adjust the bill for the 3% fee. A glitch that needs to be remedied. Overall, the food & service were good. They offer a cash amount due for less $$ but still incorrect.

We started with the focaccia (with the ricotta and honey on the side) and it was so tasty. My partner doesn't normally like ricotta, but loved this dish! Then, we had the melon salad (very refreshing). We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. This was a really thoughtful touch! For mains, we ordered the tagliatelle with lobster (this dish had a tiny bit of spice, which was fine for us but might catch someone else off guard), and the lamb loin. Both were excellent. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. However, this just speaks to how good everything is, so if you think about it, perhaps it's a good sign!

Pair that with a white wine and you got yourself a time. The 2 course offering for lunch is also phenomenal. I got the Insalata Mista (lettuce, shallot, reggiano) and it's a decent sized salad and very tasty. The Mafaldine (lamb ragu, pecorino romano) is to die for. The arancini was a fusion of Indian spiced cauliflower with mint-cilantro yogurt raita. My favorite of the Spuntini dishes was the Granchio--jumbo lump crab served over a crispy potato cake with butternut squash and a perfect 63 ° egg. We split two Primi dishes: their special of the day pasta, and the Cappellini Aglio e Olio. The Cappellini was amazing--a perfect blend of Indian spices, breadcrumbs, and another 63 ° egg. Yum.
