    BBQ Smoked Brisket Hash*

Best brisket hash by far!! Most restaurants that I've ordered hash from served diced potatoes and shredded brisket. But this brisket was a cut above! The brisket was sliced thick, smokey flavor and served with whole redskin potatoes that were so, so good. If you want a great brunch, add Connor's Kitchen to your list.

I've stayed here at the Marriott several times but this was the first time I ate at Connor's kitchen. The Service and food were excellent! I dined during lunch service so I ordered off of the lunch menu. My server was Andrew and he was super attentive. I immediately ordered the lump crab hush puppies and they were delicious, I definitely recommend! I also ordered the wagyu Burger in my goodness, It was worth every calorie! I really like that they toast the bun and the cheese was cheesin!!! I look forward to trying other things off of the menu as well as the dinner menu.

We stopped in to Conner's while in Indianapolis for a multi day conference. It is very near the capital building and the convention center in the downtown area. What I really liked about it is there is a large and very comfortable covered patio in the front facing the street. This was great to gather upon, during the waning hours of the day with colleagues to review all the things that had taken place. Fantastic menu with handcrafted cocktails, and delicious shareable appetizers. I did review the menu but didn't have a regular meal at Conners. Everything looked well prepared on the other guest tables. It is not standard pub food, instead it is several notches up. All in all, I would say that this is a fantastic place to unwind at the end of the day with friends or coworkers.

My first visit here, for Sunday brunch. There were only a few diners here when we arrived. The Colts were playing in Berlin at 9:30 am, and we thought it would be a good opportunity to watch the game while enjoying brunch. We ordered a few brunch entrées to share. The lemon buttermilk pancakes were doughy and undercooked in the middle. The edges were good. My friend ordered eggs, potatoes, and bacon. My favorite was the roasted potatoes. They were nicely seasoned and perfectly roasted. Our server was rather indifferent and seemed to be annoyed. Not annoyed with us but just seemed to be annoyed in general. Maybe he was just having a bad morning, but the service was not what I had expected to experience. The restaurant is attractive and we were able to see several tvs easily so we could watch the Colts game. We stayed for the first half while we were eating brunch then left for another nearby bar to watch the second half.

My family and I came here on a Saturday for brunch. We wish there more lunch options available on the menu. The food was pretty good, but I expected better just because of all the high Google reviews. We ordered the crab hush puppies which had a generous amount of crab in them and paired really well with the dipping sauce. My husband and dad got the wagyu burger which came with a generous amount of fries and you could add an egg or thick slice of bacon for extra cost. The shrimp and grits had a nice spicy flavor to them. The main item that was disappointing to me was the fish tacos. The fish was not seasoned well and was pretty flavorless with the other taco toppings. Service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress came over to check on us pretty regularly. Bathrooms were clean and all the booths were incredibly spacious. You can definitely come here with larger parties pretty comfortably. The food was a bit on the pricey side.

My group of 6 visited on a Wednesday night. We had 6:30p reservations, but this large restaurant was fairly empty. Earlier in the day our team mate dialed to change our reservation from 5 people to 6 and was asked if we'd be paying with one check for the larger party. Odd. Visually the restaurant makes a nice first impression with its tall ceiling, bar, and lighting. Good thing I took in the initial scene because we were sat in a corner of the room and I stared at the wall for the remainder of the night. Most of our group ordered old fashioned cocktails and the Waygu cheeseburger with fries. Other than the burger standing tall, nothing stood out about either item. After eating hotel food for 3 days you'd think this burger would've been the star of the week. Our server was friendly and our food arrived quickly. However, nothing kept us there for another round of drinks and we took our dollars to other restaurant. While I'd return if this was someone's pick for lunch or dinner, I wouldn't make the effort on my own or recommend Conner's.

We stopped in during an IU game to meet up with some friends and grab a few burgers, and overall had a good experience. The place was busy (expected with the game going on!), and even with the crowd our server did a good job staying attentive. Service was a little slower, but totally understandable given how busy they were. The food was definitely the highlight -- everyone at our table ordered burgers and fries, and they were fantastic. They also accommodated us when a couple of us wanted to split a burger; they handled it without any issue. Drinks were just okay. nothing bad, but nothing standout either. I've definitely had better and worse elsewhere. The only downside was how tight the seating felt. The tables are very close together, and with the place full, it was hard to move around or even get in and out of your seat. They also don't allow standing room, so if you don't have a table, you're kind of out of luck. Still, solid food, good service, and a lively atmosphere -- especially if you're in the mood to enjoy a game with friends. We'd go back again!

Connors is attached to the Marriott Hotel. It gives the Best of both worlds-restaurant and bar. My cousin and I decided to sit at the bar to watch some games. The waiters were helpful and patient as we looked over the menu. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. Fries were standard. I felt they could have used fresh Parmesan. The wings were lacking flavor , and the sauce wasn't spicy at all. I was excited to try the burnt ends, but they were actually burnt ends. It was more like cubed pork with sauce on it. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. The butter cake was amazing! Overall the meal was good, but could have been better for what was spent.

Service was awesome, our server Skye made sure our food came out quickly and our water glasses were filled! Wish I could say that the food mirrored the service in terms of excellence. My entire meal was cold, and my peers who had the Benedict, the egg was hard boiled not poached and was also cold. While the mains missed the mark, the breakfast nachos and deviled eggs were fantastic!

I've only ever had the breakfast here, but have enjoyed it every time! The servers are always friendly and helpful. Gluten free modifications are easy and handled with care. Of course, I am a bit jealous of the lemon buttermilk pancakes that my husband orders. They are piled high, super fluffy, and come with a unique lemon syrup that he loves. I order the eggs Benedict on a gluten free bun with scrambled eggs. The sauce is incredible and I have enough for leftovers. I also love the race themed decor and atmosphere. It's a great hotel restaurant!

I was staying at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown and ended up enjoying a cocktail at Connor's a few nights in a row. One night I sat outside on the patio for dinner and loved it esp. because the open windows let you enjoy the fresh air while still benefiting from the air conditioning inside, and the covered patio kept it comfortable even in the afternoon sun. I have to say, the Cobb Salad here is hands down the best I've ever had. The bacon on top was rich, thick, and tender (truly mouthwatering) the best piece of bacon in my life!! The dressing and toppings were perfectly balanced, and I'm still thinking about it! I also grabbed one of their signature Old Fashioned to take back to my room. I love Buffalo Trace, and their unique twist on the classic cocktail was excellent. The service was consistently kind and attentive, and the atmosphere picks up later in the evening with fun energy and sporting events!

Stopped in to order to go and the vibe was a bit odd. Like servers were chillin but they were acting busy. Not sure what was going on but anyway, we ordered the lump crab hush puppies (YES), the bone-in pork chop (YES), the gemeli pasta add chicken (NO there was no salt on the pasta at all and the thinnest piece of chicken I've ever seen), and because I'm a Bonvoy member, received a free dessert--the gooey butter cake with ice cream (YES). I also got the blackberry mule mocktail, which wasn't bad. All around not bad for $100.

Came in for lunch from across street at convention center. Believe I got there at a great time they were only open 30 minutes so beat the crowd that ended up coming over at 12. The decor is very nice loved all the art and the TV Wall in the bar area was nice. There are two bars and plenty of comfortable seating. Trying to Fish (mahi) tacos with the the creamed street corn. The corn was pretty good at first I was unsure but it turned out to me my fav. The tacos were good portion just the fish was over cooked to me as it was tough and didn't taste like had any seasoning only taste profile was the sauce. The server was nice and efficient. Overall I would come back for sure.

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. I say this despite finding a hair on the plate when I was about 2/3 through. My mussels and fries were not great. The fries were mid - they tasted kind of overdone or as if the oil were old. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.

Although the weather was beautiful, indoors was my choice. Al fresco dining is not my first choice. I don't like to do battle over my meal with insects and other wild life. I deducted 1 star for red wine served at room temperature. How is it that, red wines are chilled (55F) on the west coast but served at 'room temperature' (72F, 82F...) on the east coast. Had two dishes, they were OK, service was ok Would I go back? Yes, if the red wine was chilled.

Met up with two friends for brunch at Love Handle and it absolutely delivered. Great location at…read morethe end of Mass Ave near Bottleworks--and pro tip: parking directly in front on the same side of the street is free. The space is big and fun, with a large dining room, an old-school video arcade game, interesting art, and a big screen playing movies, which adds to the laid-back, quirky vibe. It's counter service with clear menu boards on the wall, making ordering easy. I had the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon and an egg and... my goodness. So incredibly delicious. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. Self-serve coffee with all the fixings is a nice touch, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere, great food, solid portions--definitely will be back.

We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!
