We stopped in last minute on New Year's Eve before the pacers game, there was a short wait but they were able to seat our party of 8. The food was pretty good, although we only got appetizers and our server Annalise took great care of us!

Went here for lunch after the Fever game. Had the pork nachos, a flight of craft beers, and a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. All were very tasty, especially the pork nachos. Haleigh, our server, was on top of her game. Super friendly and attentive. Thanks, Haleigh. The sports bar vibe is just what we needed after a hard fought game.

We walked in and asked for a balcony seat outside--and we got it. The breeze was pleasant, and watching people pass by added to the atmosphere. We ordered the nachos, which were underwhelming. The French onion soup was average--I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5. The steak, however, was excellent: well-cooked and perfectly seasoned--5 out of 5. The salad was just okay. Service was very good overall

    Worst Cobb salad ever!

One of the worst meals I've had in recent memory. 1. POOR MANAGEMENT--Even though there was room in the rockin' main area, we were seated in a nondescript back room that reminded me of a cheap wedding reception. (If you're a manager, you don't allow your servers to sit people in overflow unless you absolutely have to.) 2. BAD FOOD--I ordered a Cobb salad that I swear came from a salad kit, complete with spongy turkey cubes, watery boiled egg and powdery blue cheese. (So bad I sent it back.) I ordered a basic burger instead and it didn't have much in the way of flavor. 3. POOR SERVICE--Come by every once in a while and check on your customers!

After being told a nearby bar was sold out of desserts, I happened to walk by The District Tap and saw they had a cast iron cookie on the menu -- and man, did it hit the spot! Warm, gooey, and perfectly baked -- it was exactly what I was craving. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly even though it was late in the evening. Sometimes the best finds happen by accident, and this was definitely one of them. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu next time I'm in town!

Came here before a Fever game. The space is huge! Service was great and the food was good. Perfect spot for pre game dinner or drinks. Highly recommend the filet sliders !!

Huge inside, on Meridian & Georgia. Got lucky and was able to park in the front. The Pacers were playing and they had free gear! There were short and long sleeve shirts and light hoodies, so that was awesome! The menu is huge! Ordered the blackened salmon, chicken tortilla soup, & mango margarita. Everything was good! In the past I've had the shrimp bowl and fish tacos, I haven't had a bad experience yet with food. The bathrooms were clean and so was the bar area. Great for groups!

    Dirty-style wings

The wings we got the dry way were amazing! We ordered a side of Spicy BULLEIT Bourbon sauce on the side 11/10 I have no complaints at all! The nachos were delicious I would suggest the restaurant serving on a bigger plate because the toppings were there just not evenly distributed, still delicious though. Our beers were refreshing my wife got blood orange and I got my favorite strawberry blonde quaff on. Service was fast and polite. The vibe was chill. Highly recommend especially if your a wing connoisseur.

We needed a place open late for the evening we got to town. The District Tap was open, convenient, and had a couple of open tables. The place was crowded (more the bar than the restaurant), but service was great. The food was great, too! I ordered the Bulleit Burger with seasoned fries. That's a great burger!

    Pickle Nugs
    Jennifer M.

Enough good things can't be said about this place! Family friendly? Yup. Over 21 vibe? That too. And the food? There something for everyone. Even though it was the Pickle nugs that brought us in, it was the wings that made our day. If you're downtown be sure to stop in. Enjoy your time on Georgia Street!!

Every question we asked was met with the same expression people make when their phone battery hits 1%. Asked if the TV could be switched to the game. Nate stared at the remote like it was a cursed artifact he legally wasn't allowed to touch. At one point he said, "I'll handle it." This was a bold claim considering he immediately disappeared and we never saw him again. I assume he's still somewhere in the building not handling it. Honestly, it was kind of fascinating to watch. Most managers run the place. Nate seems more like a guy who wandered in, got handed a manager title, and has been confused ever since. If Nate is the manager on duty, just know you'll be managing your own experience.

But his manager was TERRIBLE! We didn't catch his name, unfortunately... We had a large group, maybe 15 in total. We had young and old in our party and had three to four tables. They typically don't do table service and make you order from the bar, drinks and food. However, Rex did a great job accommodating a few of our parents who are older. We had a family member in our group who had a cough. The manager came over and stood in front of us all and said, "you have to leave!" You are contaminating our bar and you all have to leave. He is not sick and simply had a deep cough. He has been evaluated a number of times and has been told by FP& ENT, he has been using his vocal cords too much and has caused him to have a cough. There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.
