Tom's is not only great place to watch your favorite sport it has plenty of seating, and the menu is good too. Not to mention the service is great and the bartenders are easy on the eyes. But let's talk food, the buffalo wings are good, they are not the best I have ever had but they are worth your time and then the cornbread pancake and fried chicken fingers are delicious. Ethan was our server and he was great. I know it was busy but the bathroom wasnt clean. It was VERY hot in the restaurant where I was dripping in sweat. My ice melted so fast in my cup. It was incredibly empty when we got there (?!) Our party was in a side back room, also plenty of tables and space. Our server Lexani was awesome, friendly and great with drink and food orders. It's your quintessential sports bar and sports you will get. We went to watch one of the Dodgers Vs Blue Jays World Series games on a Monday, the same time as Monday Night Football. The place was more and more packed throughout the night, but the staff were really impressive with their ability to serve everyone. We sat in the back room and though we ordered at the bar, we still had our food brought to us. We got jerk wings, cheese curds, and fried pickles. None were too greasy and were good perfectly. I'm so disappointed to write this review. After attending a great premiere event here, I was excited to come back. Finally got the chance today and it was awful! We were seated at 1:21pm. Despite literally half the restaurant being empty, it took until 1:30pm for anyone to even come ask us about drinks. By then we were very much ready to order. We each got a burger and fries. Easy orders. Our food didn't arrive until 2pm! And it wasn't even right. My burger said it came with lettuce, onion, and tomato. The tomato was missing. It was also plated dry, but there were no condiments on the table. My son had ordered regular fries, but had received loaded fries. They conceded that we ordered regular and took it off the bill, so that could have been ok. But the loaded fries were cold and congealed. Our drinks were never refilled either--just a water and diet soda. Nothing fancy. Again, the place was half empty. This wasn't a rush. They should have been able to easily get a decent burger and fries out to us. read more

A bunch of us are in town for a conference and were here on Sunday and Monday afternoon. The place is awesome. Great place to watch games with TV's outside and inside. Tom's Watch Bar is a textbook example of management undermining an otherwise hardworking staff. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, professional, and clearly doing everything possible to compensate for decisions well above their pay grade. They deserve credit, because they were the only reason the experience wasn't a complete disaster. The restaurant itself felt surprisingly sterile and devoid of personality. More importantly, on what should have been one of the busiest nights of the year during Gen Con, a significant portion of the restaurant sat empty because there simply wasn't enough staff to seat and serve people efficiently. That isn't a demand problem; it's a management problem. Plenty of people want to work. They just don't want to work for employers who create these conditions. The lack of awareness of the customer base was equally baffling. Indianapolis has an outstanding local craft beer scene, yet one of the area's most recognizable breweries wasn't represented at all. Instead, the focus seemed to be on pushing a generic sports bar experience with an uninspired beer list that was missing numerous selections they claimed to carry. Running out of that many offerings on one of the biggest weekends of the year is poor planning. This venue seems designed to maximize alcohol sales during sporting events rather than create a destination worth visiting. That's a valid business model, but if you're going to market yourself as a premier sports bar in downtown Indianapolis, especially during one of the largest gaming conventions in the world, you need to understand your audience and execute accordingly. There are multiple TVs on the sidewalk patio. There are TVs on stands in the middle of the 2 dining rooms. There are even TVs in the foyer/waiting area right when you step inside. However, this place is quite overpriced. Every entree (and appetizer) should be about $5 less. Burgers are $16-20. My Prime Rib sandwich was $23. My coworker's salad was $21. Also, read the fine print as there is a 4% service charge on every check. And they don't take cash. I'm gonna have to say that the tater tots stole the show. We went in during the World Series game to watch the game. It was pretty crowded, but the bar is really big. There are TVs on every single side of every wall. There's plenty of room at the bar And plenty of tables. There's also a section in the back but I've never been to it. Service was really nice. There is a parking garage right next to the bar. We were there for a couple of hours and it was $20 to park. I think if you're there up to an hour it's $10. Make sure you keep the ticket in your car. Otherwise you may have to pay $60 lol. The chicken tenders were delicious. I feel like you get your bang for your buck-the tenders are big and you get 5-6. The tater tots though...absolutely fire They were crispy, fresh, and soft on the inside. It's my favorite thing to get. I will probably only eat tater tots from now on and I don't even eat tater tots if that helps. They were open till midnight, but let us watch the entire game, which went past midnight, which was nice. I really enjoy this place and I will definitely come back. read more

The TV wall when you walk in is immediately transfixing.
