Salmon - A white, wide-rimmed plate holds a piece of seared fish with a golden-brown crust. The fish is garnished with thinly sliced vegetables and microgreens, resting on a green sauce and accompanied by crumbled cheese or similar topping. The presentation is minimalist and elegant, suitable for fine dining.

Everything was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Riesling--it struck the perfect balance between sweet and dry. Starters included Charred Shrimp and Caprese Skewers--light, mess-free, and the perfect quick bites to start with. The salads were fresh and flavorful, featuring cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and sweet potato. For entrées, I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked with a wonderful balance of flavors, and guest had the chicken, and enjoyed it as well. We finished with cheesecake and a rich chocolate bite--both the perfect ending to a well-rounded meal. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, great food and a great experience--thank you, Provision!

We stopped by Provisions on a whim for cocktails and small bites and had such a great experience. Katie provided excellent service all night and even made me a custom cocktail when I couldn't decide. It was sweet, fruity, and exactly what I wanted. The crab cake and baked Brie were both delicious. It wasn't very busy this evening, which made it feel more intimate and relaxing than when it's packed. The calm atmosphere really added to the overall experience

I had a great time here. Located on the second floor of the building (elevator access available). The ambiance is very nice and really feels classy. We ordered the tuna tartar for an appetizer and it was outstanding! I also got a cocktail which I can't remember the name it was camp something but it was delicious! For the mains we orders the short rib and pork chip with a side of asparagus. The aide was great. The pork chip was awesome. I enjoyed the short ribs but it didn't have a ton of flavor and I was expecting a bit more sauce maybe or seasoning but it was still really good! The plates looked great and the service was top notch. We did the the cheesecake for dessert, it wasn't a New York style more of flan type consistency --wasn't bad but I'd probably do something f else in the future. But great place for a fancy date night!

Sea bass and lamb - The image shows a dark wooden table set with two large white plates of gourmet food. The top plate contains lamb chops with a dark sauce, garnished with vegetables. The bottom plate features a piece of fish on a bed of vegetables, topped with microgreens. There are drinks on the table, including a pink cocktail in a coupe glass and a glass of water. Part of a person's arm and hand are visible, indicating a dining setting.

We went here on a whim for the Veterans Day discount that the Cunningham Restaurant Group offered. First thing I'd like to mention was the service, it was impeccable. Our waitress helped with cocktail recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, and even suggested pairings with each dish. All of the staff were attentive with refills and keeping your table clean. Secondly, the food was good, but could have been better. We tried the beet mousse, complimentary from the chef, which was delectable. Next we ordered a mushroom puff pastry appetizer which melted in your mouth! I could've eaten so many of those. For my entree I got the Chilean sea bass. I wasn't crazy about it and I've had better, but I wasn't expecting much not being in a coastal state. My husband ordered the lamb and wasn't necessarily impressed either. The dessert was meh at best but I am biased because I don't like chocolate tarts. My husband seemed to like it but wasn't very impressed. Overall we would go back for a fun date night and would love to try the chefs tasting menu! The service and ambiance was perfect for a cozy, yet fancy, night out.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. Beautifully appointed decor to outrageously good service. A special shout out to Katie our bartender both nights we came in for just being perfect. First night we snacked on lobster toast and mushroom truffle. The mushroom dish was delicious, and it's a hearty amount of lobster. The second night we both had filet mine with mushrooms, both cooked to perfection. The show stopper is the creamed spinach, just amazing.

    BEST old fashioned in town!!!!

Tried here while staying at the Ironworks. Food was really good. A little more on the expensive side but definitely worth the money. I have kept coming back for the Jefferson Old Fashions.

This was our first time visiting Provision. We went on a Friday night at 5:30 to celebrate my husband's birthday! Our waitress was friendly and gave us a "tour" of the menu. We ultimately ordered a couple of appetizers, salad, entrees, and sides. Everything for the most part was delicious except the entrees which is why my rating is 3 stars. Although the meat of our entrees were cooked well, the sides/veggies they were sitting on were overly salty. Salty to a point that we were both put off and couldn't enjoy our meal anymore because it was so overpowering. They did end up giving us new veggies but at that point it got to be busy (it's Friday!) so service started to get slower and we were about ready to leave (we'd been there almost 2 hours). I'd love to try it again, but with the prices and the saltiness of the entrees, it'll be a while. Share (appetizer) Wagyu dumpling - sweet and savory bite! I wouldn't say it was spicy but it was delicious. Charred shrimp - this was my favorite! I loved the curry emulsion and it paired well with the shrimp, avocado, and kimchi apple. The cocktail sauce wasn't necessary for me. Graze (Salad?) We ordered the pear salad. It was sweet and delicious! The sweetness took away the bitterness of the arugula. Entree Chicken - protein cooked well. Veggies too salty that it ruined the dish. Lamb rack - same as above! For the sides, we got the potato-bacon terrine & asparagus which we ended up taking home and eating. They were good.

We had a wonderful dinner here the other night. Service was incredible, atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. I would definitely recommend coming in the winter time as the holiday decorations are beautiful as well.

Salmon - The image shows a plated dish with a cooked salmon fillet placed on a bed of lentils and sauce. The salmon is garnished with thinly sliced cucumber, microgreens, and a dollop of cream or sauce. The presentation is on a white, round plate, with a blurred background indicating a dining setting.

So good! The service was excellent here. Got the fireside drink and it was made well. For lunch we got salmon, chicken, and the romaine salad to start. To get our palates started we had the chefs creation which was goat cheese, tomato, and pistachio concoction. It was a pleasant surprise! The chicken was soo good! The salmon was great but i didn't like the yogurt sauce on top, it got warm and got that spoiled taste. Not their fault at all as i feel that happens with yogurt based sauces regardless that's why i do not choose them. My salad was delicious! Loved the long thin crouton and the anchovies were just enough. Ended with their version of an espresso martini and it was great! Will be back to sit outside for sure!

We came here for our valentines dinner the weekend before valentines due to other plans. They knew we were celebrating valentines early and brought us champagne to toast. The service was beyond amazing. The food was amazing also. The server did such a good job explaining the menu and everything as it was presented to us. I got the snapper and oh my goodness this dish was amazing. I will be dreaming about it until we come back. The inside was beautiful and such a vibe.

Absolutely loved this place! Every dish was amazing, and our server was super attentive and knowledgeable. The food was tasty a must visit!

YUM! My husband and I went here for the first time for date night and it did not disappoint! Service is wonderful, they have a coat check which is a sweet touch. Food is excellent! Great flavors and seasonings. Portion sizes are great, you will have leftovers! Our server, Adam, was knowledgable and attentive. Great fine dining experience!

Crab Cake - A plated dish includes a baked item topped with microgreens and drizzled with sauce. It is served alongside a vegetable salad containing cherry tomatoes, corn, diced vegetables, and a creamy dressing. The presentation is on a white rectangular plate, with a restaurant setting visible in the background, including a fork, a plate, and a menu.

I highly recommend Provision for a celebratory occasion, date night, or simply a fancy night on the town. The dining experience is elevated while staying approachable with an array of dishes, a welcoming environment, and for the more adventurous folks - a rotating chef's tasting menu. One thing I appreciate is their menu is well-labeled with common allergens, which makes me happy for anyone that may have a limited diet! I was pregnant at the time of my visit, and my waitress was super helpful in helping me avoid any uncooked or rare meat which I wanted to avoid. And the cherry on top - a complimentary dessert helped add to our memorable anniversary dinner!

Ribeye Steak with added mushrooms and Robuchon potatoes - A white oval plate holds a cooked steak topped with sautéed mushrooms and chopped green onions. Next to the steak, there is a serving of smooth, creamy mashed potatoes. The plate is set on a dark wooden table, with a knife, fork, and spoon placed on the side. The presentation suggests a fine dining setting with a focus on classic American cuisine.

The place is pretty with a nice bar area and the ambiance is nice with good lighting. We sat in one of the booths which was dirty but on the plus side love the privacy of them. To start the food took a long time to come which is always understandable and sometimes expected at fine dining, but was not worth the wait or price. First, the steak was said to be good, but the asparagus side was underwhelming with little to no seasoning/ butter. The lamb chops come with Alfredo pasta and was not seasoned and just not good. We had three orders of those so everybody can't be wrong. The shrimp and linguine pasta was dry with no sauce at all. On top of that the noodles were brittle and hard. I asked if we could have more sauce which helped a little bit. But i could not eat it because the noodles themselves were hard and dry and i did not want to send anything back because of the company i had. The presentation was pretty but the execution did not land. We also got espresso martinis and raspberry martinis and those were made well. For a place like this you just expect a little more pizazz and things to be on point! Especially at the price point they are at i expect everything to be tasty and saucy and flavorful and juicy. Can skip this one.

It was a surprise birthday party, so when we arrived a little after 7 PM , guests were already there and the appetizers had been set out (and quickly devoured!). The appetizers included: meatballs, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and chicken wings to start. I was still able to try each and I really liked the chicken wings. We had one dedicated server, Joe, who did a great job. He was prompt, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The drink menu had a nice variety. The whiskey sour was my favorite of the night, very tasty and was a popular choice of the night (not on the menu, but they offer a full bar). I tried the ginger strawberry mojito and enjoyed how refreshing it was. The passion rum punch was decent. We also tried the lychee and ginger margarita, which took a little bit for all the flavors to set in. The drinks leaned on the stronger side, which I appreciated. For starters, I the traditional salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was fresh and a good portion to kick things off. For my entrée, I opted for the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was huge and cooked medium just as I requested. It was flavorful and satisfying, and the mashed potatoes paired perfectly with it. For dessert, I took the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to go (so full after my meal) and tried it later at home. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor making it a perfect sweet ending to the night. A few additional notes: there's no valet parking, so they only offer meter parking or parking garage. They did have a minimum for the private event in case you're thinking of planning an event here. Restrooms were located near the bar area and were clean. It was a great experience for a celebration. Forgot conversation- we heard everything they said, they heard everything we said, might as well have been on a double date. They weren't short of two top tables either- there were at least two, two top tables that sat empty our entire dining experience. Our server was on it throughout the night. The food was good to okay. We started with bread service. One piece of my bread was cold, and the other was warm. The honey miso butter was maybe a highlight of the whole meal. I started with a kale Caesar salad. Nice crunch to it, and an appropriate amount of dressing. My wife and I split two meals. The first- Coq Au Vin Pot pie. Our cocktails were strong, but nothing to write home about. Overall, wouldn't be my first stop for a restaurant downtown, but if I was invited by someone else, I would most likely try it again.
