Our food was mostly excellent. I ordered the cioppino and would definitely get it again. My dining partner had the wagyu burger and fries. The burger was good, but the fries were warm, at best. Our server was average. We waited a long time to order, while watching him stand at the bar chatting. After taking our order, he never returned to our table until he brought the bill. Someone else brought our food, and a different person cleared our dishes.

Food, service were excellent. Price point is high. It was our first time here and the wait staff told us that the food was cooked on a wood fire. Drinks were really good. We enjoyed the New York cheesecake. Great date night location. There is street or garage parking. Would recommend Savor.

This place was busy on a Saturday evening. Parking wasn't easy to find but found a spot about a block away. Food was good overall. Truffle fries were my least favorite. Gooey butter cake is a definitely a dessert I would come back for. Loved the lively ambiance of the restaurant. It was very busy but service was good. One thing I learned today that Carmel charges beverage and food tax on top of sales tax. (1% to city of Carmel and 1% Hamilton country) I guess it was implemented in 2019 but never knew about it until today.

Very good service. Ambiance is a little odd and mismatched but not bad. Food was really good overall but the rub for the steak was a bit too salty for my liking with the amount they use. Would love if you could order a half order of the crab baguette!

Overall: Great experience, hopefully we'll be back soon! The good: Well-sized portions, fun atmosphere, and great staff. We split a handful of appetizers and had some wine, all of which were delicious. The not-so-good: Honestly not much, we had a great time and left happy and full. We were by the windows in the middle of winter, so it was pretty chilly and the parking was a pain, but otherwise everything was great. Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10

We arrived with no reservation and was seated immediately, the staff were friendly and extremely welcoming. We requested a table on the patio and I'm so glad we did, it was PERFECT! It was a windy day and the fact that they have the hard plastic covering most of the patio is a great addition. The food was absolutely AMAZING, the only thing he said was he'd wished he had more broccolini but overall very satisfied! Both plates were bursting with flavor, there wasn't a thing left or either plate when we were done. The drinks were refreshing and not too sweet which we can appreciate!

Parking- There's street parking along main st in Carmel but be sure you're not in the area marked for 15 min loading area - they will ticket you! Service- AMAZING. Our waitress was beyond personable & had really good recommendations. She was also very patient with my two teenagers and their indecisiveness lol (IYKYK) Food- We ordered the mussel starter for the table and OMG. The buttery sauce was so full of flavor, the tomatoes were not overcooked & the mussels had the perfect bite. I could have ordered an XL plate of this and would be the happiest woman on earth! Oh, it was also served with 3 slices of garlic loaf (chefs kiss) -teen 1: the spinach ravioli add chicken was the perfect oasis for a cheese lover! Not a cheese lover? Not the dish for you the added protein was seasoned extremely well and the as creamy. -teen 2: Branzino Mediterranean was a great texture, not overcooked at all however, the flavor was missing a bit & the potatoes served along side of it were still hard internally. The sauce that was poured over the branzino had capers, tomatoes and spinach and I could tell it carried the flavor of the whole dish. -For myself, I ordered the Pasta Italiano that was to die for! The pasta was al-dente'd to the gawdssss & the jumbo prawns on top were blackened. Take me back nooooow! I also ordered a cranberry spritz drink that was decent. I tasted no alcohol but it sure was pretty to look at lol . Given I didn't come for drinks & I came to eat well, this place gets a 10/10/10/10 from me.

We have been to Savor a few times now and with every visit I'm always reminded what a gem this place is. The food is consistently good, the service is great each time, and the ambiance is always bustling. Came here this time before a show at the Palladium on a pretty, summer evening. No appetizers this time. I got the grilled halibut with risotto and spinach. Delicious. My husband got the scallops and risotto and his was yummy as well. I tried the cucumber refresher mocktail. I enjoyed it but the $14 price seemed a little steep for a drink without alcohol. Prob will just get a regular drink next time. The only hiccup was when we checked in. My husband never received the texts to confirm our reservation so they had cancelled our reservation. We thought this was a little odd and a wee bit drastic. We had made the reso two days before. Despite that they were able to seat us quickly. Savor is a place that is a constant. The food, the vibe, the service is always on point. Count on this restaurant for a great start or end to your evening.

Ambiance was clean, modern, organic. Grey covered Chairs that we sat in were unformafotable and hard to move in (very unpredictable in movement when trying to scoot closer to table) Waiter was very nice and was good on waters and was able to get us the included bread without us knowing it was available We shared a Caesar salad which was average with an under-average Caesar salad dressing (something tasted different than normal). The bread piece included was well crafted I got a Pasta Bolognese which tasted good, but was a pretty small portion for 23$ My SO got a Salmon which was cooked well, but smothered in a creamy sauce. The portion size and flavor was not worth 30$ In total, the meal was very expensive and not worth the price we paid. We do not intend on going back

We visited Savor for my husbands birthday. We were immediately seated upon arrival. Our server was helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance is so cute and classy. We started with the crab baguette, and I wasn't a fan. The cheese with the crab and bread wasn't a good combo, in my honest opinion. We than had the lobster risotto and the New York strip. The meals were both very delicious! The servings were decent, and the prices were good. The star of the show was the butter cake. DELICIOUS! Amazing! I could stop in just for the butter cake, because it's that good. Overall, we had a good visit, and we look forward to visiting again.

    Are Kids Ok? Kids menu?

Yes, they do have a kids menu. On the menu was pasta, pizza, or chicken fingers w/French fries.

    Any gluten free options?

Yes, they can make any pasta gluten free upon request and they are delicious. I did a vegetarian pasta with a spicy Alfredo, very good! Lots of salads and other options as well for meat/ seafood:)

They booked the entire top floor for our group of 30, which sounds luxe... until three of us got exiled to what we joked as "the kiddy table". Nothing says "team unity" like banquet-style seating for most of us and a side quest for the chosen few when there was clearly room to extend the table, so the choice felt less "design" and more "but, why though?" Luckily, the food excellent. Family-style apps kept things social, and the broiled goat cheese disappeared faster than corporate budgets in Q4. The caramelized brussels sprouts with feta and pears(?) was absolutely sproutstanding and worth fighting your VP over. My salmon was cooked like it had something to prove: crisp on the outside, buttery within. The mac and cheese sauce ith what tasted like sharp, aged cheddar was doing the lord's work. The mashed potatoes was aggressively average, like a meeting that could've been an email. Eh. The bourbon bread pudding was sticky, rich, and just boozy enough to make you forgive the seating chart Service-wise, they ran a tight ship. *Chef's kiss* A small army of food expeditors kept plates landing with precision and no awkward pauses or hangry-induced hostility. Timing was flawless and the polished atmosphere, confident execution, and a few standout dishes was enough to forgive the seating chart.

Our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered the pimento dip and crab cake to start. The dip was not quite as good as we expected based on prior reviews. It was good not great. We enjoyed the crab cakes more which were full of crab. The entrees were the stars though - I had the peach glazed salmon which was cooked perfectly and the glaze was super flavorful. The collard greens were tender and had a tasty smoke flavor. A couple folks had short rib entrees and one had one of the shrimp and grits options. The servings were very hearty especially for the prices. All in our party agreed they would definitely return and happily order the same dish although there are many items on the menu we all want to try. This place is small...much smaller than I had imagined. In my opinion, there isn't really a good seat in the house, literally, because the restaurant is a converted home in a residential setting. Each and every table is either by the front door, near the kitchen, or restroom-adjacent. It also seemed like they were having some plumbing issues or something, because one area was blocked off making the seating situation even more limited. It was nice out, so we probably should've dined on the patio. Our server never introduced himself by name, so I didn't learn that tidbit of info until we got the bill. We ordered the deviled eggs flight, which he told us that he couldn't tell us about because "it's different every time". He did check for any allergens, which was thoughtful. The deviled eggs themselves were very much a blank canvas and the toppings were the entire show. Server asked if we wanted to play egg roulette or if we wanted him to tell us what they were. We wanted to know, so he pointed to each...extremely close, and I was so distracted by his finger hovering so dangerously close to my food that all I heard was "chimichuri". I have no clue what the others were. Oh, I think one was chili crisp! I also had the crab cake and loved the aioli that it was served with. My husband had the BLT, which comes with an egg on it and is served on Texas Toast. He's not a fan of Texas Toast, but he enjoyed the sandwich. If I were rating this on food alone, it would be 4 stars, but the cramped atmosphere and level of service brings it down to a 3 for me.

He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

My first experience at the restaurant was decent, so I figured we would give it another shot. I recall my first meal being a bone-in pork chop that was overly salted. I'll make my review brief. The restaurant was not too busy but our service was fairly slow, two separate drink orders that were requested never made it to the table, the environment was noisy/music too loud, etc. I decided to go with something very basic for my food order. My thought was, "I'll see how good they are at doing something simple." I got the black and burger cooked to the chef's preferred temperature (medium). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.

We requested the sweet potato fries be well done and they were not. The manager was great and very accommodating as was our server. I just want to be able to enjoy the food. The strawberries in the salad didn't seem fresh. They were mushy and I didn't want to eat them. If I go back it will probably be for drinks and maybe appetizers only. The zucchini bread that comes with the salad was really good.

I ordered a Steakhouse wedge salad and the chicken tortilla soup. I was so shocked how big the portions were. I was expecting smaller, lunch portions. The food presentation was a 10/10. There's a section on their lunch menu called The Perfect Pairings for $14.95. Basically it's a "you pick two" offering. I ordered the BLT salad and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were wonderful. So much food that I have leftovers. My friend ordered the fish tacos with tater tots. He said they were great as well. Also, plenty of food. The atmosphere was great. Not loud ... easy to carry on a conversation. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked great. I don't know why we haven't come here more often. That is certainly going to change!
