    This is a great restaurant in Westfield. Lots of room inside and outside, the drinks were well balanced and the old fashioned was delish. They also have XXX root beer in a bottle which is an Indiana must have. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. That's perfect for my tastes. I had the filet, chicken and Waygu sliders with fries. They were a little salty for me but prepared perfectly. I'd order them again, The kids had butter noodles and macaroni and chez...,pretty standard fare....its not fancified mac and I think almost every kid will love it. I'll come back when it's warmer to enjoy the patio!

    We love coming to Grindstone for the outdoor seating with heaters and a dog friendly patio. They even have a fire pit which is really inviting. Normally we visit on a weekday and it's not super crowded. Despite having dinner on a Friday evening our server, Charlie, was extremely attentive yet friendly and genuine. We didn't feel rushed. I had the Cajun Chicken Caesar Wrap with sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the full rack of ribs with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. He said the ribs were 10/10 but the broccoli a bit bland and could use some salt and/or butter. I wanted to like the wrap more but it was mostly lettuce with very little dressing. Next time, I would ask for some on the side and request the fries to be extra crispy. The chicken wasn't really what I had in mind when I think of Cajun. It needed more spice. Other than that the atmosphere and service will be reason enough to return.

    Great place close to Grand Park. There is a wide variety of meals and the restaurant is able to accommodate large groups. The servers are nice and helpful with suggestions. I had the Hoosier Hot Plate, a fried pork tenderloin, served with Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans. There was plenty of food. If you are looking for a place to stop on your way home from Grand Park, you should consider coming here.

    Just as good as last time. I really wanted the brine chicken sliders but decided to be good and ordered the Cobb salad and it was filling and delicious. The salad dressing is the perfect amount although my husband who ordered the same thing requested extra dressing. I am not a big nut person but their zucchini bread side was very good. Service was excellent. It is a great location although the entrance to the parking lot is a bit strange as you have to almost go by the restaurant. They also have a nice heated patio.

    I've been to some of the other Clancy's establishments, but this was my first time here. It seemed pretty busy for a Tuesday night. We took seats at the bar. It took a while for the bartender to serve us, which was ok. However. The bubbly rose my g/f order arrived and it was flat. One could easily see it was flat as there were no bubbles. We had to send it back. My old fashioned was decent. The initial of the establishment in the ice cube was a nice touch. We order the fried cheese curds. They came with ranch. They were decent. It seemed as though this place gets a lot of regulars. We don't live near there, but if you do, you may want to check it out.

    Get reservations for weekends as it's a popular place. The ambience for dinner time on the weekend was more date time vibes than family with the lighting dimmed and darker elements of the ceiling title being a neat feature. We had the shrimp cocktail to start out. I enjoyed an espresso martini while my other half liked an old-fashioned. We both had the fish and chips which was a good portion size. Had the cherry black forest cake and s'mores crème brûlée, which were some yummy sweet treats. Overall, the food, ambience, and service were excellent. I would recommend trying Grindstone out and be sure to get a reservation during busy times!

    After having a busy few days full of somewhat fast food and incomplete meals leading up to the Indy 500, once raceday was ending, we were ready for a good sit down meal. We're out of towners and this was our first time. The server we had was also the bartender. She was super friendly, gave good opinions when we asked what was good, and she paid attention to what we could need. We started out with the poutine. Incredible. The other photos on yelp don't do it justice. It was large enough that three of us shared it while very hungry, and we were only left wanting more because of how delicious it was. I had French onion soup as well. I always feel when I'm not home in Buffalo that the French onion out of town doesn't compare. But it was still good. Maybe a bit salty, but I'd get it again. Dinner... was truly great. The shining star was my jambalaya pasta. The portion was large. The dish was so tasty. The perfect amount of spice. There was no shortage on the meats that were with it. A very good dish. 10/10 highly recommend. My fiance had the pickle brined fried chicken sandwich with a side of cucumber salad. The sandwich was pretty large. He said he would get it again. If it wasn't for how much I loved my meal, I'd probably order his sandwich next time. Our friend ordered the Shamrock Stack burger. He complimented what a good portion it was compared to some burgers back home. He also had the bacon Mac and cheese and enjoyed that. We will certainly be back next year and I think we will be getting three orders of poutine and three jumbalaya pastas. I almost forgot, there's also a huge drink menu, and the guys both enjoyed the beers they ordered.

    Went on a Friday night during Devour Indy... it was busy, but we had reservations at 6:30. We waited for a table for 30 minutes, and watched them seat several other parties who walked in after us. Not off to a great start. We ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Those were decent, but quite bread-heavy and didn't offer a lot of flavor outside the sauce. My entree was the meatloaf... cinnamon syrup of some sort on meatloaf wasn't something I was expecting, but it wasn't bad either. This came with potatoes and green beans - the green beans were the best thing on the plate. My fiancé ordered the steak tacos and enjoyed them, but they weren't really anything to write home about. We also got two drinks - a Paloma and a blackberry jalapeño margarita. The margarita was rather spicy compared to other spicy margs I've had, but tasty. For dessert we ordered the turtle cheesecake. It was good, but again, not super outstanding. While the food itself ranged from mediocre to good, the cadence it was brought out was quicker than expected, which was nice given how hungry we were. We waited maybe ten minutes for our appetizer and about 2 minutes after we finished that, our entrees came out. It's a little pricier than I think it's worth, but I'd probably go back... maybe not on a Friday night.

    Great spot right off the Monon! The covered patio is perfect for relaxing after a walk or bike ride, and the staff was super attentive throughout our visit. I had the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised by both the flavor and the portion size--great crispy fish and a generous piece for the price. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

    Great area, great atmosphere, great outdoor space and great service. Came here for a dinner and were told it's a two hour wait so we came back another time and very glad we did. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail before heading to our table. Got the steak sliders with sweet potato friends and a burger with fries. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Fries were crispy and the burgers/sliders were cooked perfectly. Love that you can enjoy a walk on the Monon before/after your meal.

    We took a large group here for dinner mid week and had a nice time. It was very easy to get a reservation for a group of 20, which some local places can not handle. We had a very pleasant waitress ( I am awful at getting names) who did an amazing job keeping up with our needs. The restaurant is in a great location with beautiful views and walk out access to the Monon Trail. We tried the fried green tomatoes and poutine as appetizers. The tomatoes where good, even if we were caught off gaurd by the mix of Parmesan on top and Chipotle ranch as the dip. The group loved the poutine and needed up with a second order of it. The French onion soup was lovely, not too salty and a good tangy cheese, we just wished the bread had more presence. We tried the Jambalaya, Manhattan, cheesesteak, pork tenderloin and turkey burger. The Jambalaya left a fee of us wondering how it got there, it was very fishy and the pasta threw them for a loop (guess they didn't read the description). The Manhattan was ordered by 3 people and they loved it 5 stars. All and all the food was good and not to heavy but for the first time ever our dinner group did not get dessert.

Then we headed to the restaurant for lunch. We sat at the bar, of course. Allison, the bartender and our server, did an outstanding job. She was friendly, attentive, made suggestions and prepared a fabulous Whiskey Sour. My drink was made either Luxardo cherries. This as the best Whiskey Sour that I've ever had. The lunch menu is slightly different than the dinner menu. I would describe the menu as very upscale bar food. There is a drink menu that was featuring daily specials for the holidays. My husband had their hand breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin was double stacked with perfectly breaded and seasoned tenderloin. He said it the best tenderloin he has had in Hamilton County and among the best in the state. The fries were crispy and good. I had the in-house prepared Broccoli Cheddar soup. There was no doubt that the soup was fresh made. The soup was creamy with gooey cheese. The broccoli was sour fresh. The bowl was huge. I also ordered a small wedge salad, which turned out to be huge. The salad was covered generously with bacon, blue cheese and grape tomatoes. We explored the event center, which was spacious. The outdoor patio was inviting, even on a freezing day. There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot. Accessible spaces are available near the entrance. West Fork puts Westfield on the map. It's the perfect venue to bring family or friends for a special meal and experience. I highly recommend.

He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.

Everything was really delicious and came out fast. Our server was kind and personable and took great care of us. I think her name was Melissa...it definitely started with an M. The atmosphere was pretty loud and rowdy, but in a fun way. The booth next to us was celebrating a birthday and they brought out a saddle for the birthday boy to sit on while they loudly announced to the restaurant that it was his birthday. My daughter opted NOT to have this celebration done for hers. We had a good time and left with full bellies and to-go boxes!

The waitress was helpful with suggestions and was attentive. I did have concerns as cleaning was taking place during my meal. I believe that while patrons are dining, sweeping shouldn't take place nearby. Dust and all kinds of things could have been flying around. As far as food, I had the lamb chops. They were wonderful, flavorful and tender! They paired well with the mashed potatoes and green peas. I wish I would have had more chops or that they were larger, but I would opt for a steak next time.
