Had the best meal here Friday night. Patio is absolutely wonderful on a warm evening for eating and enjoying downtown Carmel life. Our waiter was great and more than happy to make recommendations and help us navigate the menu. Food was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

We came here for an earlier dinner date. We sat at the bar and I loved the vibe in there. The fish tank was cool, there were sports on the screen, and the bartender was good to chat with. We ordered the pretzel sticks, boneless wings, and chicle sliders. All the food was incredible! 10/10

I met a couple friends here for Devour week. The parking is limited and I was surprised to get an open spot. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. We were there early so it wasn't busy. I had a Mango Mockarita, House Salad, Pot Roast, and Vanilla Blondie. The pot roast was really hearty and full of flavor. I was full and took my dessert home to enjoy later. Overall everything was good and I'd come back to try more off the menu.

The different levels of this restaurant are super cool! Has outside seating and a bar area with tables that both have open seating so you don't need a reservation. Then, upstairs a reservation is recommended. We had Brussel sprouts and fried mushrooms as appetizers. The brussel sprouts were AMAZING! The fried mushrooms were good but we have had better. The Cajun tots were also a table pleaser as several chose them as their side. We have the chicken florentine, grilled chicken sandwich, vegetable stir fry, and the crispy chicken. Everyone really enjoyed their food. We would go back!

Popped in here for a nightcap after dinner with friends because they are open late and not super packed. A nice, lowkey spot to hang with a small group (plenty of space downstairs). It is also in walking distance from so many other drink and food spots, so it could be a great initial meeting spot to figure out what to do for the evening or a great spot for a nightcap. Our server was really sweet, made sure we always had water, and checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything else. The staff upstairs were also really friendly and let us know that seating was downstairs, but when we left we could exit through the covered patio and didn't have to come all the way upstairs/go back down the front steps.

I was greeted at the main door with a smile and a beautiful welcome. I was then directed to the bathroom. The bathroom was dated and brought me back to memories from my childhood that made me smile. This was my first time here so I was a little confused about seating but eventually found where to sit. Bella was our server and she was great. We went for the devour menu. They didnt have any vegetarian options but I was able to find something else on the menu. The blueberry mocktail was AMAZING. The sprouts was a decent sized portion for it to be a side. And lastly, I ordered the blondie and a side of ice cream. My dessert was so cute and tiny.

Some friends and I decided to stop in to try their Devour Indy menu - Bella was friendly and took care of us while we dined in. It wasn't very busy and that worked out for us, our orders came out fairly quickly. I went with the Chicken Tortilla Soup, The Pot Roast and the Brownie dessert! Everything was pretty good, we really liked the pot roast - highly recommend!

The atmosphere is really neat but the food!! We came for the devour menu (runs until 2/2/25) and they had 3 different specials running until noon. 1. A 3 course menu for $21 person 2. 3 entree options w/ waffle fries for about $15/each 3. Brunch options My girl friend and I decided on: Parmesan Brussel sprouts for our appetizer: so yummy! Both got the breakfast sliders which were 2 small smashed beef patties on slider buns topped with a fried egg each, hash brown patty, slice of bacon, and smothered in sausage gravy with a side of seasoned tots. Omg, SO yummy, flavorful, and filling! For drinks: she got the citrus mule and I got the canned Ash & Elm option Parking: we parked a block on the street. When: Saturday at 1:30, walked right in, no wait for a table Server: Ryan and he was quirky and fun! Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

We visited on a Saturday in mid-May. Hoping to sit on the patio, we found the wait was too long for how hungry we were, so we decided to head upstairs to the library area. As soon as we walked in, we were met with a cloud of smoke--it smelled like something was burning. We sat down, ordered our drinks, and discussed whether we wanted to stay. Initially, we thought we could tolerate the smoke as it seemed to be dissipating. However, after about five minutes of looking at the menu, it worsened again. We politely asked the waiter if we could pay for our sodas and leave. He was apologetic and understanding, especially since some people in our group were having a hard time with the smell. We're hoping this was just a fluke, but I'm not in a hurry to return anytime soon.

Great ambience and great food! It was our first time dining at Woody's. I was just curious about what library restaurant was like. The service was slow at times but overall they took very good care of us. They have variety of items on the menu and it took me a while to decide what to get. I ordered chicken pot pie- it was more like stew, and a pie sitting on top of it but it was so delicious. Very nice choice for a cold evening for sure.

I ate lunch outdoors today at Woody's Library. What a great setting on Main Street in Carmel - open air, covered with overhead fans. We both ordered the blackened pork tenderloin sandwich served on a Brioche bun. For sides we both selected the balsamic & Parmesan roasted Brussels sprouts. What a great choice - thesandwich was well seasoned and filling and the Brussels sprouts were very good. I would order both again on my next visit.

It was love at first sight with Woody's. We brought my mom this time about a month later and the upstairs was closed so we sat in the patio which was enclosed, hot, and stuffy. Service was not friendly at all today and very slow, but the food is so good so I'll be back again. But today's experience was a 3-star occurrence.

Tristan was our waitress and she was amazing!! Always making sure we had drinks and enjoyed our food, all while putting a smile on our faces. The food came out quick and delicious, while the service and friendliness topped it all off!!

That's actually why I feel compelled to say something - during my visit, I saw an adult man berate a young hostess over the wait time. No one deserves to be spoken to that way, especially not a teenager doing their job in a high-pressure environment. Unfortunately, I've seen this kind of behavior more than once at restaurants, and it needs to stop. If you're frustrated, taking it out on staff is not ok. A little patience and basic respect go a long way. As someone who used to work as a hostess, I know how stressful those moments can be, and I really appreciated how gracefully the team at Juniper on Main handled everything. They deserve a lot of credit. Highly recommend this place, not just for the great food, but for the hardworking, kind staff who keep things running. If you are someone that can't control your temper and you take it out on unsuspecting people, you should order in. Your frustration doesn't give you the right to behave so awful.

We had the crab cakes and crab & artichoke dip for apps and our lunch entrees were the fried catfish sandwich with fries and the filet with mashed potatoes and collard greens. For bevvies, we tried their rosé and red zeppelin English ale. All of it, every bit and bite, was 10/10. Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint. Shoutout to our friendly and helpful server, Dan... our food and drinks came out quickly and so did our to-go box. His service was truly top notch. We have been living in Carmel for 5 years and this is one of the best restaurants here. If you're on the fence about trying this place, jump off and make a reservation. You won't regret it.

I got the chicken katsu sandwich on Japanese milk bread and o my gosh it was so flavorful and I like anything else you can find around. The breading is light and not overly crunchy. Even if you don't like cooked carrots (which I don't!) they are sooooo good and there's no other way to describe it. You just have to try it yourself. After the carrots, we thought it would be hard for the rest of the dishes to live up to that but our daily soup (always vegan) was so yummy! It was made with leeks/root vegetables and forbidden rice - absolutely delicious and very earthy! I was so pleased with just those two items, I could've stopped there and had a perfect experience. We both ordered the mapo tofu - and it was not like mapo tofu you'd get at a korean/chinese restaurant. It wasn't a saucy dish at all - in fact, it was intentionally dry - practically charred. It included rice cake which was interesting. I appreciated the charred/crispy texture with the chewy inside. I wouldn't order it again but if you like textured, spicy dishes you might enjoy it. Luke offered to get us something else but we were already full, so we declined. He also gave me a complimentary blueberry sorbet which was delicious and sooo fresh, and wished me a happy birthday! It was very delicious and necessary to rinse the palate. We had a great time and can't wait to come back when the patio opens up - we loved their mission to assist with providing job opportunities for autistic adults, too. We were still a bit hungry after the board, so we ordered a "bacon flight" and some deviled eggs. And that is how I learned that bacon served with a sauce is not for me., whether is a spicy chili sauce, a creamy lime dip, a tomato aioli, or a butterscotch-chocolate concoction. The "savory" bacon option was egregiously salty. You might expect that when you're having bacon, but they added even more salt and it was too much. My wife made it work, but the choices were thin. For a restaurant at this level, I'd love to see that change. Food allergies aren't going away, and guests who want to celebrate special occasions deserve more than a gluten-free bun as their only path forward. The food was genuinely delicious. Drinks never ran dry. Jill was never far. We all left saying it was a great meal. Four stars, and I mean it. Jill earns five on her own. I'd go back without hesitation. I'd just hope the kitchen catches up to what the front of house already delivers.
