A friend of mine had been wanting to try Divvy for a while so we decided to go last Friday night. Unfortunately they are not on Open Table but you can still make reservations if you call the restaurant directly. We didn't really have much choice other than to sit at the bar which wasn't ideal. We started with the "favorites" board, which consisted of a bbq chicken slider with Brie (tasty but not particularly memorable); corn brûlée (warm, comforting and original but overly salty); a little bowl of caprese salad (a well-balanced and bright contrast to the very rich corn dish but hard to eat out a tiny bowl); fried Brussels sprouts (fine but salty); and a tiny brisket taco (I didn't try that one). We were still a bit hungry after the board, so we ordered a "bacon flight" and some deviled eggs. And that is how I learned that bacon served with a sauce is not for me., whether is a spicy chili sauce, a creamy lime dip, a tomato aioli, or a butterscotch-chocolate concoction. The "savory" bacon option was egregiously salty. You might expect that when you're having bacon, but they added even more salt and it was too much. It turns out that I also do not like wasabi on a deviled egg. I would give Divvy 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed half-stars because I like the shared small-concept and our server was friendly. If you're reading this wondering whether you should try Divvy- this is your sign. Run. Don't walk. We didn't walk into Divvy with sky high expectations. It was a belated Valentine's Day dinner, and we just wanted to try something new. Cute, fun, different. That's it. From the first bite, I knew I would be writing this review... I haven't left a review in a while. But when I tell you I would give up a kidney to eat this meal again, I MEAN it. We started with the butter board. I am telling y'all right now- walk in with an APPETITE. The munchies are welcome too, because this butter board was absolute insanity. The first bite my partner and I took made us physically pause. We looked at each other with wide eyes and said nothing. Just awe. It. Was. SO. YUM. The balsamic. The parmesan. The sundried tomatoes. The warm bread. It worked together like a literal symphony in our mouths. Gorgeous work and absolutely stunning. Next, we ordered the Favorites Board and the Protein Power Board. Oh. My. God. We tried the pork belly bites first- dipped them in the sauce and went to TOWN. Y'ALL. We transcended. I felt spiritually awake. I saw colors. I understood life differently. And the corn crème brûlée? Sorcery. Actual culinary witchcraft. At this point, we genuinely assumed the chef must be a woman because the attention to detail, the care, the balance, the FLAVOR in every single bite was unreal. If she hasn't gone on MasterChef, she absolutely should. This was Michelin-star worthy. I've traveled to over 15 countries and this was, without exaggeration, the best food I have ever eaten in my life. And here's the kicker- I'm not even a big steak person (or meat eater in general). I was vegetarian for nine years. That steak (and the lamb) could convert me to becoming a carnivore without hesitation. The textures. The seasoning. The balance. Salt, fat, acid, heat executed PERFECTLY across every single dish. The chicken mini? Stop right now. We genuinely thought it was the best pulled pork we'd ever had... until we double-checked the menu and realized it was chicken. Give me 10 of those and I'll clear them in 10 min. Also!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the brisket taco. Honestly, I loved everything. Not one bite felt careless. Not one flavor felt accidental. This food was made with intention and love. And somehow we left full, but not miserable. We felt born again. Spiritually cleansed by butter and pork belly. The peach cobbler and crème brûlée were the perfect ending. Sweet, balanced, not overly heavy- just enough to send us home blissed out. The service? Totally fine. We had zero complaints. If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be this: I wish the servers delivered the menu with even half the passion that the chef clearly puts into crafting it. Because this meal was created by a culinary deity and deserves to be hyped accordingly. We kind of loved that it wasn't too busy... but honestly? Had dinner before a concert at The Palladium. The server was pleasant and offered help and described some of the dishes we asked about. The salads were a fun interpretation of traditional ones. We tried the Taste board it was really good. All the flavors were delicious. I loved the tenderloin. My sister had the Protein Board. They liked it, but didn't enjoy all the sweet sauces. Several of us liked the cucumber water. It was nice and refreshing. The frozen mousse was really good. The acoustic board on the walls was great, really tamped down the noise. The fireplace playing on the tv, the lighting and decor made for a nice evening. One friend wasn't able to join, so we will go back even though it's an hour drive to get there. This place has such a cool menu! I love ordering the sample boards to try different items before ordering a big portion. Two boards plus one or two bigger plates is more than enough for 3-4 people. The Brussel sprouts and steak were amazing. However, I would not recommend the wasabi curry deviled eggs if you do not like strong flavors. The crab rangoons are a must-try! We ate here for a birthday, and they gave a free bite-sized cupcake that was so cute. They also give home-made caramels as well. There's a free parking garage about a 5-10 minute walk away, but I think they sometimes do free valet. The service was good as well. Highly recommend trying this place out! read more

Had a wonderful dinner here with my parents! All of the food was amazing, especially the brussel sprouts and the creamed corn, and the steak was cooked beautifully. We sat out on the patio and had amazing service - I think our waiter was Craig but it has been a few weeks and honestly don't remember. lol. My first experience here was lunch for Devour. Giving grace for lunch service, and the fact that we didn't try cocktails or wine, I'd give 3.5 stars. The Midday Magic board was advertised as a sampler board of their "best sellers" so I was excited to try them out! The veggie slaw pleasantly surprised me with what I think were sweety drop peppers, and the cheese sauce for the macaroni was fantastic, though more pasta was needed. The fries - no notes. The BEST kind of fries you can ask for. Crispy on the outside, yet still some thick steak fries mixed in... amazing. I don't do well with potatoes but still couldn't resist sneaking a few of these. But those are sides. My slider was well done without asking, and I wouldn't recommend Dijon on your crowd-pleaser burger. The chicken kebabs were soaking in oil and still somehow not flavorful at all. The chimichurri definitely did not come through. The interior from vibe to decor is in need of some improvement and updates. Looking forward to hopefully bringing our puppy in the spring and trying out some other dishes. read more

This is a great location right in the city center of Carmel, we lucked out and were able to walk in and get a table outside. Our severer was awesome, attentive but not overbearing which I love. To drink I went with the white wine flight, it was delicious and perfect for a nice warm spring day. For good, we had the savor board, that had Brie with green apples, a tasty shrimp dish that was spicy with a hint of BBQ, it also came with delicious Brussel sprouts, perfectly cooked steak bites and a whipped butter situation that was also great, we split some ahi tacos as well. Tried out divvy for devour not once, but twice! I love the ideas of the boards with a mix of small bites. It was hard to choose from the dinner devour list or try one of the boards so we did both! We started with the whipped feta and grilled bread. I liked the mix of cucumbers with the whipped dip giving it a fresh Greek twist! For the mains I chose the burger sliders and duck fat fries. I do like how everything is homemade down to the ketchup and even locally sourced carbonated drinks. Very cute vibe and great for getting to try a bunch of different items on a smaller scale. The blondie dessert was probably my favorite thing that I ate! Though the boards may look small at first glance, they are still surprisingly filling! We visited last minute on a Wednesday night and we're thankful to be able to get a seat. It was super busy and most of the tables were filled. Overall, I would say that the food was really yummy, but the portions are super tiny. We chose the devour menu and both got our own plates. Somehow we still spent over $100 and left feeling still a bit hungry. Granted we did get one drink each (the wine sampler was about equal to regular glass of wine price wise). Totally understand that that's kind of the vibe of the restaurant. But we'd likely just come here for light snacks if we were to come again. For those who know me vegetarian is a big deal! I do eat meat but I find sheer joy in eating the best made vegetables which don't remind you of spinach purée and carrots when you were a kid! And Divvy was just the surprised the buffalo bites (yes veggies) were so delicious and tangy cauliflower bites which felt and looked like right off of a barbecue grill. The seasoning was delicious and there was an additional tangy ranch served with the bites that made it so drool worthy. We have been here before and it was just the most elegant perfect experience; however, after our most recent visit with a very rude and unprofessional server, we will not be returning. She embarrassed one of our party extensively and presented herself in a very condescending manner. Went around the corner to another fine dinging restaurant and had a wonderful experience. These restaurants are in such close proximity to each other that our waitress where we ate actually knew who the server at Divvy was just by our description and agreed she is a problem. Every once in a while I get a craving for divvy's Brisket Tacos, which is what brings me back every few months! Coming from a celiac household, we are always SO impressed with the amount of gluten free dishes served here. My mom and I always like to come during happy hour to split 3-4 different items, get a fun drink, guzzle the cucumber water, and overall have a great time! I've had a few items over the years I didn't absolutely love (like the deviled eggs) but that hasn't stopped us from trying something new the next time. Four of us went on a rainy weeknight and it was not busy so there was no problem getting seated at a table on the covered patio. A lot of people mentioned the portions sizes were inadequate, but by the end of our meal we were more than satisfied. To start, we ordered the cheese and vegetarian boards. For the rest of the dinner we ordered polenta fritters (yum), lobster quesadillas. The quesadillas were just ok, more cheese than lobster. The tenderloin filet with the red wine reduction, was so tender and the sauce is the perfect accompaniment. Ask for extra bread. How do you make pigs in a blanket taste even better? Serve them with the special ketchup and creamy Dijon and spices. For dessert we had crème brûlée, red velvet bites, and chocolate pate bites. Each was more delicious than the other and here I will say, I wish there was more. read more
