Buffalo egg rolls are fire! I've gotten them 4 times now they are so good! So much chicken and they give you extra buffalo sauce on the side

I pop in here about every 6-8 weeks. I'm local, but not a "regular". I normally get their buffalo chicken sandwich ("The Boss"), but today I opted for the tenderloin. The sandwich was a good size- slightly larger than the bun. Breading was solid and didn't flake off. I would get this again. Fries were plentiful and slightly crispy. Service was great. I got there just before the dinner rush- the place was almost full when I left. EDIT: oh no! I reviewed this place once before (for the buffalo chicken sandwich), and adding this new review for the tenderloin seems to have wiped out some of the original review! I'll try to restore it if possible. read more

Mill Tavern is a popular bar that serves sandwiches, salads and various entrees and, of course, has a full bar. The dining area is relatively small with maybe 20 tables, so you can expect a wait for seating. The walls are decorated with vintage signs and the place is immaculate. There are a couple tv monitors playing sports. Quiet music plays in the background. Regulars sit at the bar - people seem to know each other. People are friendly - staff and patrons. Our server, Lisa, was friendly, helpful and checked on us regularly. Drinks and food came out fairly quickly. I had the Tuesday night special rib eye dinner. The steak is cut thin but still large and cooked to medium rare perfection. The steak was tender and juicy. The baked potato is huge and baked perfectly. The side salad was fresh. My husband had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. The tenderloin was smaller than most and was a little dry. The coleslaw side was creamy and delicious. I like this place because it is comfortable and the food is good. Parking can be tight in this busy strip mall, but generally available. read more

21+ bar, upscale pub food. I LOVED all the Xmas decor, it put us in a good mood. The service was amazing, it seemed like a lot of regulars. She seemed to know a lot of the people, and took care of everyone. The wraps are good, the broccoli cheddar soup was decadent. I love all the sauces they have. My husband said the honey mustard was some of the best he's had in a while. When I commented about the fun decor, the server said it took them 15 hours to finish! I love all the little details and lights. I forgot how cozy it was here. This is the type of place you could just sit at the bar, watch a game and feel completely at ease. It looks like open seating (went on a Wednesday night) and got garlic parm wings and the potato wedges. I think they call them tavern fries. The server was so nice!!! And also we fell in love with the potato wedges. We loved them so much that we got three large orders to go on Saturday hoping we would keep an order for ourselves but they all disappeared. We will be coming back for the service and the wedges!!! Also probably more than that because that's what normal people would do. read more

The Mill is always a good spot to go. Servers are friendly and know the menu well and ready to make suggestions if needed. Has the perfect neighborhood bar and restaurant feel to it with many regulars sitting at the bar. No reservations, show up and wait for an open table then seat yourself. Lots of TVs and a Jukebox! Just stopped in for an out of town carry out order. Sorry no food picks! Just a review. The facility is located in a strip mall that was easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking outside the store. The restaurant isn't flashy. It's a big box with and attractive bar and confortable seat of seating. The inside was clean and a buzz with customers watching games. I thought the inside was a bit dark. The staff was very friendly. The bartender was very welcoming. The host was very helpful and efficient at getting us in and out. We started with the hand battered rings - excellent! The batter was thick and uniform so you knew it was hand made. The batter was tasty with a bit of salty taste and some spice. Not overly greasy. I hand the breaded tenderloin. The patty was a tad thicker than normal but very moist and tender. The breading was slightly thick and had a bit of crunch. The tenderloin came with lots of fresh toppings. I also found the Cole slaw to be outstanding. Lots of small finely chopped pieces of cabbage. The slaw is mayo based. It is light on the mayo but enough to pull the slaw together. It had a slight amount of pepper spice to give it a little zip. Excellent food! Exactly what a local pub should be!!! Non-assuming from outside but warm and jovial once you walk in. Fast, friendly service...homemade pub food...local, sporty, cozy decor, lots of sports TVs, fair prices, and everyone seemed to know each other. Staff was welcoming. We just stumbled across this and tried it for dinner. It's a great 21+ pub with lots of TVs, good music, and great atmosphere. It's like The Friendly in Zionsville but newer, cleaner, and the tables are not as cramped. Our server was very friendly, offered good recommendations, and was pretty attentive. The menu is extensive! And they only have 1 freezer so much of the food is very fresh. Specials most nights. We went on a Tuesday and the special was a 10 oz steak, baked potato and a roll. Fridays special is fish and chips. 10 or 11 beers on tap. We love this local, non-chain, friendly restaurant. My wife and I think it will be our go-to spot. Highly recommend. read more

We went to The Mill Tavern for a late dinner. First of all, for after 8 PM it was very busy. Great service. Our server was pleasant and a little chatty. Because it was Christmas time, it was all decked out: the walls are papered with Christmas wrap. There were lights everywhere. Overall the feeling was warm and festive. The big salad was delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and liked them. The tavern is classic. The owners take pride in serving delicious food and the quality shows. It is a local hang out. The Mill is a great neighborhood bar and the food is amazing. Their Hoosier tenderloin sandwich is my go-to. We love this hidden gem!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my lunch was here today. Its in the strip mall by Krogers at 161st and Springmill. I ordered a patty melt with grilled onions and fries. My husband had a tenderloin and onion rings. Great waitress and the food was very good. We picked the breaded onion rings, you could also have them battered. They were the best onion rings I've had ever! My burger was cooked perfect and the fries were really yummy also. If you're up in this area definitely check it out. read more

My wife and I were looking for a place to get a bite to eat as the lunch hour had slipped away (getting close to 2 pm). I used Yelp to find this spot out to the west of Westfield (Is that West-erfield?) So glad we did! The place has a single room with the bar on the right and the lighting kept dim. Lots of electronic lights and tvs lined the walls, but little to no overhead lighting. Normally, we aren't fans of darker spots since we sometimes have trouble reading the menus, but it wasn't too dark for us. Our waitress let us know we could pick our own table and she brought us our menus and utensils/napkins. We found out about the day's special and were given some time to look over the menu as she went to get our beverages. My wife decided to go with special fish and chips with a side of cole slaw. I went with a Reuben sandwich with the standard chips on the side. The fish came with two fair sized breaded filets and lots of deep fried wedges of potatoes. Both were pretty good especially with the tartar sauce for dipping. However, the cole slaw was very spicy with lots of black pepper which isn't what my wife expected or liked. She passed it over to me since she didn't like it. I was very pleased with my Reuben. It was a 5-star sandwich! The dark rye was very light and slightly grilled to provided a bit of crunch. The corned beef and sauerkraut were undressed, but there was a small cup of Thousand Island dressing I used for dipping that was perfect! Check out was quick and we were soon on our way. How have I never reviewed this? It helps that Mill Tavern is close enough I can get there on EV... Seriously it's worth the drive, and the wait. There's not many places around this small intersection to get good bar food - burgers, wraps, salads, apps, and some entrees. Never tried anything I couldn't pick up, but everything is good. Their burgers are fantastic and you can dress them however you like with their "Boss Burger" - three choices for one price, extras and premiums are reasonable. Great tavern fries, great homemade sauces too. I can tell it's a pretty popular hangout spot because everyone seems to know everyone else including the bar staff, it makes the place a little loud sometimes but everyone's friendly. I haven't even mentioned the bar - great service, great beer selection including on draft, and friendly faces. Funny I don't know everyone, I've been coming here since it opened. Maybe I need to drink more. Anyway will be back again soon. read more
