The Mill has made it into our rotation of places to eat. The bar is always clean, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and you can't go wrong with anything off their menu! Plus they gave daily specials and are always decorated for the holidays!

Mill Tavern is a popular bar that serves sandwiches, salads and various entrees and, of course, has a full bar. The dining area is relatively small with maybe 20 tables, so you can expect a wait for seating. The walls are decorated with vintage signs and the place is immaculate. There are a couple tv monitors playing sports. Quiet music plays in the background. Regulars sit at the bar - people seem to know each other. People are friendly - staff and patrons. Our server, Lisa, was friendly, helpful and checked on us regularly. Drinks and food came out fairly quickly. I had the Tuesday night special rib eye dinner. The steak is cut thin but still large and cooked to medium rare perfection. The steak was tender and juicy. The baked potato is huge and baked perfectly. The side salad was fresh. My husband had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. The tenderloin was smaller than most and was a little dry. The coleslaw side was creamy and delicious. I like this place because it is comfortable and the food is good. Parking can be tight in this busy strip mall, but generally available.

21+ bar, upscale pub food. I LOVED all the Xmas decor, it put us in a good mood. The service was amazing, it seemed like a lot of regulars. She seemed to know a lot of the people, and took care of everyone. The wraps are good, the broccoli cheddar soup was decadent. I love all the sauces they have. My husband said the honey mustard was some of the best he's had in a while. When I commented about the fun decor, the server said it took them 15 hours to finish! I love all the little details and lights. I forgot how cozy it was here. This is the type of place you could just sit at the bar, watch a game and feel completely at ease. We haven't been in a while, but need to fit it in the rotation more often.

So, I decided to take my dear son to Gringtinos to eat some empanadas, because this Latin-ish restaurant has several different varieties on the menu. We sat down, looked at the menu, and my son wanted a cheeseburger, instead. Oh, kids! You gotta love them, right? (Right?) Luckily, Gringtinos has a kids menu that includes a cheeseburger, as well as a quesadilla and boneless wings. My son said that the cheeseburger was the best that he's had in a long time, so there you go. If you want a great kids' cheeseburger, visit Gringtinos. I was there for empanadas, so I got us a few: barbacoa, chicken, ground filet and street corn. We loved all of them, but the ground filet was probably our favorite (it was basically ground beef). We also ordered the yucca fries, which are served with white queso. They were like regular potato fries, but more earthy and dense. One order can feed two or three people -- they're very filling, with an interesting texture. I'm glad I ordered them. The service was OK, but we had to ask for plates, even though the server saw us dripping empanada juice all over our napkins. (It's like, hello! Yes, plates would be good. Bring us plates.) I'm also not a fan of servers not writing down my order, and instead, trying to memorize everything I say. I'm not impressed! It makes me stressed! Please, for the love of everything that's holy, just write down my order. It's truly OK to write things down. I promise. The construction around Gringtinos is murder, but don't fret. There is parking in the back, off of a gravel road. Once you park, enter through the back and you're good to go.

Super friendly staff. We chatted with the hostess for a bit about the other Family of Grindstone restaurants. We started with the short rib poutine. We had it last year and frequently joke we need more than 1. The meat is so tender and there is a good amount of it on the dish. The app has plenty to share for the three of us adults. I also love the added touch of the scallions. For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

I did see they allow you to make reservations on Open Table, so I booked it for a weekday to try it out. It wasn't nearly as busy as the parking lot looked, there was plenty of seating. We started with the Evil Jungle Princess (10/10 tiki drink) and the paper bag beer + blind shot pick (gross but kind of fun if you like beer, I think we got a PBR lol). For apps we got the Wagyu pigs in a blanket and the broccoli cheddar soup to share. The piggies were so savory and delicious. For entrees we got the fish and chips and rainbow roll. The fish was perfectly battered and tasted great. The rainbow roll had good flavor but really fell apart immediately. I felt like the presentation could have been improved. They also did not bring out soy sauce with the roll and didn't come even after asking our server for it. Still good flavor to the fish. We finished off the night with the monkey bread (100/10). So sweet and delicious! It came out hot and fresh with a side of ice cream. Definitely sugar overload but totally worth it. And our nightcaps were the Espresso Martini (HAVE to get) and the Campfire Vibes. Both great drinks. Highly recommend this spot for any special night out.

This was as the large group to one side of us, and others, saw their server 3 or 4 times. Since we had plenty of time to read the menus we put in drinks (Rosy Cheek & Old Fashioned) and an app (zucchini fries) as well as our entrees (salmon and pork belly, both with the wedge) The drinks were good! The old fashioned was slightly smaller than I'd want for $15 but it's Westfield. The zucchini fries were ok, the breading lacked flavor and we were charged $1 for an extra 1/2 ounce of aioli. The salmon had a spicier seasoning on it than we expected, but the orzo didn't have much? The pork belly was good, maybe a little more sauce than you'd expect but the sticky rice helped get most of it sopped up. In the end, it's not somewhere we'll come back. Every so often, I would get an enormous fry that was way bigger than the others. It was more like a steak fry! It was like a little baked potato. It was nice to have that variety in the appetizer (which I was treating like an entree because, again, I was eating this giant appetizer by myself without shame).
