The service - exceptional. We ordered the lemon drop martini, Elmo Cola, the Gatsby and liquid love affair. I asked for the liquid love affair to have a very light pour of alcohol and they obliged. Everyone loved their drinks. Even me. And I am NOT a drinker. We ordered shrimp cocktails, lobster bisque, steaks and lobster. Everything so good. My son's steak was overdone but they happily remade it and ALL the sides that came with it. Just immaculate service. We also ordered the chocolate mousse pie. We asked our server to place the candles we had brought on top. Lemme tell you. The service. Just so good. She realized they were sparkler candles so she waited to light it until she was at our table. We did ask the manager if we could present our son his gift during dinner. It was a firearm and we didn't wanna cause any drama or "unsafe" feelings even though, obvi, it wouldn't have been loaded. We did want to respect the establishment and their other patrons. He kindly declined and, of course, we understood. Can we talk about service? Just so exceptional. Customer service for me will make or break any experience. The bills was... A LOT. Even AFTER they comped everything the birthday boy had ordered. But even if they hadn't comped ANYTHING... I always believe in paying good money for good food. The place was clean. The bathroom clean. And there is a lot for parking. Just the best time was had.

The event takes place on the patio area, it's small and intimate. It is great for networking and mingling and making new connections. The staff was absolutely amazing and engaged with the crowd the entire night. I felt the vibe that they really love their job. They don't let you know about the menu prior to , which I was a bit apprehensive about but it turned out great! For starters we had some chunky guac, watermelon pico, and some kind of verde salsa with chips. 10/10! The Watermelon pico was new to me and very refreshing!! Next we had some steak fajitas with rice. I was not a fan of the rice and the steak wasn't seasoned to my liking but still a good dish! Lastly we had dessert that put me in the mind of being at the state fair. It was a pastry fried (think like funnel cake taste) and fruit ...so yummy! Now the margaritas! Enjoy as much it as little as you like! I loved experimenting and trying different combos. My favorite was the mango spicy flavor! They said they have these events quarterly or so and I can't wait to go to the next one!

In the speakeasy, They had a tattoo artist doing shamrocks for people They had their special Irish menu this weekend. The dishes people had around me looked amazing. Strong recommendation on Irish burger from person next to me. While I looked at the menu, I had my first green beer! Monica and Nick were bartending, both are exceptional. I finally went with the corned beef and Swiss on rye. It had an huge helping of corned beef, I could only eat half the sandwich. The corned beef was moist, no condiments needed. Perfect meal.

There have been multiple times over the course of the last several months that we've had ordering issues with both for carry out, as well as a horrible experience at the craft house. Most recently, we've tried ordering carry out from the pub house and have not been successful any time. We understand the kitchen closes an hour before the restaurant closes and have ordered well before this time frame. It seems like the online ordering may shut down 3 hours before the kitchen closes, which is what we experienced tonight. The cherry on top was calling in to place our carry out order at 915pm (kitchen closes at 11pm tonight) - someone answered (and we were like "yay!") but then were put on hold, waited for 15 min and tried to call back for the next hour and 15 min and no one answered no matter what option we selected. So what I've been able to deduce from these multiple experiences is Murphy's doesn't like carry out traffic and isn't willing to take money from local fans. It's one thing if your website says "ordering stops at 7pm" - we'd order prior to 7pm. But when it says "kitchen closes 1 hour before closing" and nothing else about carry out, no warning while preparing our order that we wouldn't be able to place the order (like other local establishments provide) or employees who could answer the phone and easily say what the actual rules are - like "I know it says online the kitchen closes 1 hour before closing but we actually stop taking carryout orders 3 hours before the kitchen closes" - then we'd be informed and be able to operate in a manner where we understand what the boundaries are. I've had business dealings with this business and it's not surprising they are as or more disorganized on the customer side as they are on the actual business side. I reached out to the owner tonight and received no response. I hope this review helps take business away from Murphy's pub house. Since we aren't allowed to give them our business, maybe no one should.

Reservations were easy to get on OpenTable. We even adjusted the time with no issues. The entry way is super cute and so is the seating area next to the bar. The vibe is pretty spot on for a speakeasy type place. Absolutely loved the aesthetics and atmosphere. Our server Kim was hands down one of the best servers we've had anywhere in a while. She was incredibly sweet and helpful with recommendations for drinks and food and shower us some of the more specialty type bourbons on the bar etc. I chose a bourbon sour make with Woodford and it was perfectly balanced with a nice hint of bourbon Hubby chose a couple of different old fashions and they were spot on. For appetizers we chose fried green tomatoes and the French bread. The fried green tomatoes needed a little salt other than that they were huge and the breading stayed on and was light and crispy. The French bread was basic and probably wouldn't get again. I tried the soup which was white cheddar broccoli and cheese. It was pretty good but not worth the price considering you can get a salad that is bigger and cheaper Hubby got the Caesar salad it comes with a creamy anchovy dressing with a fried cheese topping The fried cheese was amazing and if you don't like anchovy don't let the keep you from getting the salad it's really good. Main course I chose the Australian Wagu strip steak. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fat was rendered down and added to the amazing flavor. I would order again. Also comes pre sliced on the plate. Hubby ordered the filet it was slightly overcooked but it wasn't a deal breaker being that it was filet. There was nothing outstanding it was just like any other filet. We split the white cheddar Mac and cheese It was creamy and more than enough to share in fact we brought some home. It could have used salt as well. Dessert we split the chocolate cake and each of us ate a couple bites and brought the rest home. It's not as rich as you would think. The crunch on the bottom adds a nice texture. Then they brought out a nice surprise of 2 fresh baked chocolate chip cookies which were amazing and should be a menu item Overall amazing experience and will definitely return Perfect for a nice date night.

As far as ambiance, this place is perfect for a date night, a business casual meeting with friends, or if you just want a solo dim-lit night out. The service was nice! The waitress was helpful with suggestions and was attentive. I did have concerns as cleaning was taking place during my meal. I believe that while patrons are dining, sweeping shouldn't take place nearby. Dust and all kinds of things could have been flying around. As far as food, I had the lamb chops. They were wonderful, flavorful and tender! They paired well with the mashed potatoes and green peas. I wish I would have had more chops or that they were larger, but I would opt for a steak next time.

Staff was able to find us a table for 10 people in the corner even though they don't take reservations. Since it was a rainy night and we were placed in a corner which normally would be great views, it was still very easy to talk to each other and interact. As we gathered and trickled in, our waitress was very attentive to our food and drink needs and did a great job. Everyone around me had orders that turned out wonderful. My beer, chicken wings with dry rub with hot honey and blue cheese dips was yummy. My Fiesta Lime Smothered chicken was also very tasty. Better than I expected. Couldn't finish it so I had a good lunch the next day. My wife enjoyed her Cobb salad. Firehouse Cheese sticks were excellent even though I am almost certain they are NOT good for you.
