Came to Anthony's for Valentine's dinner. Wow was it lovely! The service was excellent (Audrey gave us so many great suggestions and was attentive and patient). We had the Ravioli and added scallops (again, great tip from Audrey!) and the ribeye. Scrumptious! The chop salad was crisp and savory and by far the best one I have ever had! We got the bacon appetizer and it had a nice sweet heat- I would get that again and will be thinking about for DAYS. Everything was served with generous portions. Definitely felt like a special occasion. Oh and the whipped Yukons- crisp on the top, silky under. So darn yummy!!

Came to Anthony's for a work team dinner & had an amazing time. We had a drink at the bar while we waited and this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly large! Our waiter, Olaf, started out night out with a bang... He made us feel special, by actually taking time to know what company we were from, what we did & other details which safe to say we'd never seen before! We essentially ordered everything there is to order and there is no bad choice on this menu at all! The appetizers like the bacon and lobster bisque I could eat every day for the rest of my life... SO GOOD! I went with the $79 Wagyu fillet and decided to add the crab oscar on it (because I wasn't paying for it of course)... and it was one of, if not the best steak of my life. The dessert may have been the "worst" thing about the meal, which is saying a lot because it was still good! Even though I'm not a huge cranberry fan, that cheesecake was very good! My coworkers got the choco tacos (childhood throwback), they mentioned they're very peanut buttery, but if that's your vibe then you'll love it! The liquid dessert I had "better than therapy", I personally wasn't a fan of. However it if you like a strong chocolate liquor, you'll enjoy this. Overall great night at an amazing restaurant. One of the best in the Greater Indianapolis area for sure.

Disappointed that my $71 steak was overcooked. The lobster macaroni was pretty good and the dessert was great. The service was pretty good and I may go back on a special occasion.

First time here, we really enjoyed it. We didn't have a reservation, but grabbed two seats at the bar. The two story windows allow a lot of light in, therefore it's bright inside. The bartender was super nice and helpful. We started with two well balanced cocktails. The truffle arancini were perfectly crisp and delicious. After some hemming and hawing, I went with the Spinalis steak, which was an awesome juice. Super great cut and perfectly cooked. My g/f got the sea scallops, which she also loved. I didn't prefer the carrot puree, but it didn't take away from the meal. All in all we have lovely experience and will be back!

TL; DR: Anthony's has easily become my #1 steakhouse experience in the city. There's no question that the service and cuisine is worth the splurge. It's been a long time since a night out has captivated me as much as my visit to Anthony's! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until the moment we left, we had an amazing experience. I am always leery of going out on Valentine's Day, because the service at places are usually not as great. This was not the case. First of all, I made a reservation several months in advance. I didn't want to chance not being able to come here. When I arrived, I was greeted by the hostesses who were very professional young ladies. They quickly checked me in and asked to check my coat. I sat in the beautiful lobby while waiting for my husband and the hostesses gave me the option to be seated or to wait. I chose to wait, and when we arrived, we were seated near the kitchen where you can see the kitchen staff preparing dishes. Normally I abhor this area but here was awesome because there was no distraction at all. The kitchen is beautifully designed. Our server, Olaf, was delightful. He started us with a suggestion of a flavorful red wine (Faust) which I enjoyed. If you decide to go with a red, I was suggest considering to go for a bottle of this instead of just a glass. While reviewing the menu, Olaf brought us a dish of warm garlic butter bread with garlic butter spread. Excellent. The steaks here are a very healthy size. I knew that I couldn't eat one alone, so opted to go for an appetizer of crab cakes for my main course. My husband made a decision between the strip, spinalis (which is a special cut of ribeye), or the flight to share with me. We decided on the flight and it was a wonderful decision. 3 different 4 oz cuts which were cooked to perfection - melt in your mouth! I was in awe of how delicious this steak was. We had a prime cut, grass fed, and wagyu. If you've never tried wagyu, you won't be disappointed. I can still taste it! My crab cakes were a great addition to the meal, as they served two of them with a delicious aioli. It was enough for me to share with my husband as well. Highly recommend. For our sides, I had heard good things about the baked Mac and I wasn't disappointed. We also had the broccolini which was flavorful and complimented the meal. Remember that they are family style portions. I went so far as to order dessert. I never do that! Reviews didn't steer me wrong with the bourbon butter cake. Do yourself a favor and look for it. Worth every bite. Shout out to the waitstaff. We were never left with an empty glass of water or dirty dishes hanging around. There are several young men and women who work here, and they are just top notch. I love a professional team of folks no matter where I am. Not to mention, the conversation with Olaf the entire night was great. He was funny and charming and easy to talk to. So listen - I'm already planning my return. Not to mention they have a rewards program where you can earn a hefty $100 coupon after spending $1000. That's amazing considering how pricy things here are (not complaining, the splurge is WORTH IT)! Plan a night out and stop in. You won't regret it.

We made a dinner reservation for an early Christmas date night at Anthony's, and it was our first visit there. We enjoyed the upscale ambiance, the location of our table with a great view to the holiday decorated trees outside, and the stellar & friendly service by Olaf and crew. We always over order so that we have leftovers to enjoy at home. Having said that, we ordered the following: Charlie's Pounder Appetizer Octopus Salad Lobster Bisque Swordfish Wagyu Filet & Lobster Tail Baked Creamy Mac & Cheese Roasted Brussels Raspberry Indulgence Dessert (to go) I truly enjoyed the lobster bisque and octopus salad. I'm not normally a meatball appetizer person, but the Charlie Pounder was very tasty and plentiful for sharing. My husband's wagyu filet was amazing, as was the lobster ($148 for both), but I didn't love the swordfish entrée. The menu description for the swordfish states, "14 oz Bone - In, Crab Meat, Savory-Butter Sauce." I took that to mean there would be luscious lump crab meat atop the fish which would lay atop the savory-butter sauce on the plate; instead, it was a thick, creamy crab and butter-type mixture that I did not enjoy. The fish itself was nice, though. I should've asked for clarification before ordering it, so that's on me, but I'll certainly do that going forward! The Brussels had a great flavor profile, but they were a bit mushy for our liking. The baked mac & cheese was decadent (and with a kick!) and we would order it again. I enjoyed two cocktails: Pound Town and Rosemary's Baby. I would definitely recommend the Rosemary's Baby cocktail. Oh, and perhaps random, but I really appreciated: 1) having my water topped off several times [without asking] as well as 2) Olaf keeping our white tablecloth clean by way of a crumb sweeper. We noticed several bar tables around the perimeter of the bar area and have decided we'll opt for dining there next time as a more casual experience with drinks and appetizers.

Came here back in March for our three year anniversary dinner and the food was delicious. All of the dishes were well balanced in flavor and I would order each one again. The place is very open and there is plenty of seating. Service was also very good. The waiter was very attentive and everyone was very welcoming. We will be back!

Food was excellent and our server "Chris" was fantastic!! We had the filet flight and Brussel sprouts with a wedge salad and lobster bisque. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Cake and two Espresso Martinis. All the food and drinks were spot on. Only things that could be improved on were glasses and steak knives were very spotted and the water boy responded to me when I said thank you with "yeah " not appropriate for a top end restaurant

Anthony's was a lovely restaurant for my business dinner with clients. Service was attentive and the server provided a lot of guidance since it was our 1st time there.

For that reason, The Goat got in trouble by the city a while back, and was shut down for a time. But then it reopened, and now it seems to be minding its Ps and Qs, for the most part. You will know you're at The Goat when you see a big American flag flapping in the breeze outside of the restaurant. You'll also know you're at The Goat when you spot the Donald Trump beer tap handle at the bar. OK! They must really like the movie "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" here. There really is a place for everyone, and I somehow found myself in this place. But you know what? I got nothing but love (or like, really) for The Goat. My experience was great. The service was excellent. The beer, wine and spirits list was outstanding. The music they were playing was nice (heck yeah to whoever chose to play mid-90s Incubus, Bush and Marcy Playground.) I'm the type of person who goes to a dive-ish bar and orders wine, and the kind people at The Goat didn't even blink, and poured me a nice, generous glass. Fine, two glasses. If you're the kind of person who drinks bourbon, your heart will start beating faster when you step into The Goat. They have an amazing bourbon list. On Wednesdays, they do $12 pours of select bottles, some of which are $100+ per bottle. So, you can try out some top-shelf bourbon at a decent price. Mark your calendar for Wednesdays at The Goat, if you're into bourbon. My visit was just for drinks with a small party, and we didn't try any of the food. But we got a variety of drinks among us, including red wine, beer, straight bourbon and blueberry cider. They have a lot of different types of alcohol to please an adult palate. Speaking of adults, this place is 21+ only!

And when they finally did, she made us pay before she ever served a drink. Not only that, it took nearly 30 minutes to complete our drink order. The worst part is that the bartender forgot one of our drinks and we were told she only charged us for two drinks instead of three which was a flat out lie. Especially since we had a long drawn out conversation about her inability to change the alcohol type in one of our drinks because it's premixed, you'd think she would remember. Sadly, no. We should have left then but were there for a watch party. So we ended up reordering and paying again for the missing drink. We moved to a different area of the bar and still experienced subpar service. Nearly every staff member in this place had the look on their faces like everyone was an inconvenience to them. Not one smile. Very limited interaction. And overall, extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend! Cherry on top: when you pay, they have the unmitigated gall to have the tip increments go from 22-30%. Not a one person who "served" us worked to deserve a tip of that magnitude. And I'm saying this as a very generous tipper! Never again....which I'm sure they don't mind since it's clear they don't care.

We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.
