I took my daughter here to celebrate her birthday, and we shared the Combo Appetizer with potato skins, rattlesnake bites, and boneless hot buffalo wings. We enjoyed those with the Cajun dipping sauce, sour cream and ranch dressing. We pretty much demolished that entire platter. For my entree, I ordered the Fried Catfish Meal, which came with two sides. I got the steak fries and a house salad. I love their house salad (with bacon added). It comes with crisp green leaf lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato, eggs and croutons. My daughter ordered shrimp skewers, served over a bed of rice, with corn and a loaded sweet potato. Everything was really delicious and came out fast. Our server was kind and personable and took great care of us. I think her name was Melissa...it definitely started with an M. The atmosphere was pretty loud and rowdy, but in a fun way. The booth next to us was celebrating a birthday and they brought out a saddle for the birthday boy to sit on while they loudly announced to the restaurant that it was his birthday. Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere, great value for a steak dinner. I had the Dallas filet with seasonal vegetables and a loaded potato. I got it butterflied, cooked medium well and smothered with sautéd mushrooms. Everything was delicious, including the fresh rolls that come served with a cinnamon butter. The only issue with our food was that my daughter's French fries were overly seasoned and too salty to eat. Thankfully, she ordered double fries, and only the ones on the steak plate were inedible. The food here has always been good. I've came here many times over the years and never had an issue. The staff and management here is also awesome and always very helpful. This place is honestly a staple if you want good food, great service and a comfortable environment to sit and eat in. Went to Texas Roadhouse, and as usual it was a pleasant experience! The restaurant had that lively, fun energy it's known for upbeat country music, and the smell of fresh bread and sizzling steaks filling the air. We got there before the rush on a Friday night. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo with a side of rice and a loaded baked potato. My son got the same steak and shrimp combo but with fries and applesauce. Our little one had Andy's steak with fries, and my wife got an 8 oz. sirloin with a loaded baked potato. My daughter got the regular entrée-sized Caesar salad with a loaded baked potato on the side. The food was without a doubt delicious! The staff were friendly and very helpful. My son and I requested our steaks cooked medium-rare, but they came out a bit overcooked closer to medium-well/well-done. I took my wife out to dinner tonight and we both had Texas size filets with ribs with broccoli and baked potatoes for sides. The good: ribs were amazing broccoli was perfect and the server Scott was a nice guy and very helpful. The Bad: both filets had to be refired and mine 2 times. I had to take mine to go. I dealt with 2 managers who were very nice. I would've thought due to our inconvenience the would've taken off our drinks but they chose to not do anything. We never got a refill on our drinks but on Scott's behalf he was busy. I think the managers should have checked on us a little closer since there were multiple problems. A little gesture goes a long way. Sometimes issues are not that big of deal and I will tell them it's no biggie don't worry about it. But when you have issues where you and your wife can't enjoy the experience, At least we would've knew they cared..What I got to eat was pretty good overall. Take care of your customers! read more

I would have to say that this experience has been the worst service ever. While waiting for a table the girls at the front were rude and than when we got to our table they put us in a booth with a group of 11 and 2 other people at another table when trying to talk to the manger Crisha, she became very Rude and when trying to ask questions she just walked away and lefted us there.. At this point we just decided to leave since "Crisha" was just rude we and didn't feel that we were going to get the service that we should. Steak had a tasty though chewy crust and meat was semi chewy but for the price it was appropriate. Had the nicest server who was very busy so we had to ask for bread and silverware but her effort and friendliness more than made up for it. I experienced a frustrating situation today that I feel needs to be addressed. For context, I typically don't play the race card, and I am a huge fan of TRH. However, what happened was unacceptable. We were seated at a table, and I noticed an open booth in the corner. I requested to move to that booth because we had two toddlers with us. The manager glanced at me and stated that we couldn't do that because booths were reserved for parties of five or more. After we sat down, I saw two separate parties of three being seated in the booths we had requested. This is completely unacceptable, and the manager was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for denying my request. Service wasn't terrible. We ordered 2- 6oz sirloins medium rare. We get them and one is completely overcooked; more like well done. Mine was medium at least so I just ate it. We got 2 house salads and a lot of the lettuce was like brown/pink-ish, so we picked out those. Then we sent back the one overcooked steak and I kid you not, it took OVER 30 minutes to remake one. We asked about it and our waitress said they were still working on it... even though it was past 15 minutes at that point. The best part? A LIVE CRICKET ended up on our table.... I don't even know how. We made light of the situation and gave him some bread. We didn't even bother saying anything about the cricket because they didn't even really worry too much about the steak that was "cooking" for half an hour, so we just left it alone. Buttered rolls with Cinnamon butter, quick service, fair prices.... I honestly have not had a terrible time here. We end up going about once a month because my daughter loves the bread. I get that this is a chain, and everything. But they do well because of the food, service typically. I also appreciate what they've done to bring Tinnitus awareness with the passing of one of their CEOs. They also have a little separate to-go area and door for prompt pickup. A big salad and an order of rolls is great to Bring for a pitch-in if you are in a pinch. I like that you can have chili for one of your sides. She brings out 2 extra plates and it has brown splatters of slime all over the top of one plate. The other plate wasn't even near the first dirty plate and it had a thick goop of mayonnaise soaked all over the bottom of the plate. Never asked if we wanted more to drink either. The beef tips were heavy with grizzle I think I got 5 pieces out of 8 I could actually eat. I even asked her to have the grizzle removed from because sane thing happened to is the last 2 times. We went ahead and gave her 15% but not our usual 25% tip. I hope all the employees learn from this review. Obviously the kitchen probably had a part in the dirty dishes given to us too.
