Located in the Saraga shopping complex, there is plenty of parking and other stores to visit, if inclined. This was our second visit. The first visit was with friends. The second visit was just Hubs and I. The quality of the items was the same for both visits and the waiter was super friendly. The quantity of chicken for the price is why my review teeters between a 3/4 star rating. This is definitely the place to visit if you want super crispy Korean fried chicken but be prepared to pay high prices, IMO. We ordered the whole chicken for 16.95, a small fried chicken and the dumplings. It was over 50 with tip. The whole fried chicken was listed as 8 pieces. I think they chopped up a breast into 4 pieces and threw in a leg. One piece was all rib bones. I was really surprised because the fried chicken from our first visit seemed plentiful. This was barely any food. I'm sure we will go back but I'll never order the whole chicken again. The flavor was the same, so their quality control is good but wow, I'm not sure about their portion control.

1/2 Galbi and 1/2 Gangnam style. Corn and cheese skillet not pictured. So good!!

All we can say is WOW! Best wings we've ever had. We will be back and we've already told our whole family about how wonderful our experience was. Titan was our server and he was top notch. He was working the whole dining room and he was still so friendly -- always smiling -- helpful with menu recommendations, and accurate with delivery. The restaurant was clean with chill music so the vibe was lovely. We will be back soon!!

Tasty Korean fried chicken. My fiancée lived in Korea for 8 years, and she says they're missing the 2nd most popular flavor she also felt they were stingy with the green onions. But overall liked the food. Servers were friendly. The TVs were mostly set to American sports ball, if tha's your cup of tea. The ambiance was more 2021 burger joint than Korean pub. But not bad.

My wife and I stopped in here while we were out shopping and we were not disappointed! To start the food is very good and extremely flavorful. The sauce we ordered had an amazing flavor profile. Our waitress was also very helpful. However the one thing that almost docked a star for me was how expensive this place is. Be ready to pay a premium. Wife and I will be back when we don't mind spending a pretty penny to eat.

Ordered Door Dash from here as I've been wanting to try it for awhile! I got the secret sauce whole chicken with extra pickled radish and a side of steamed rice. The packaging was perfect and the chicken was still warm when it arrived! I was so surprised at how big the wings were! You definitely get a good amount. If I ordered again I wouldn't get the whole chicken as there were quite a bit of bones mixed in but the flavor was super tasty! I definitely want to go for a visit in person and try out some other items in their menu!

My son and I dined here for lunch after we didn't some shopping at Saraga. We both had never experienced Korean fried chicken so we wanted to check it out. We went on a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't crowded at all. We mentioned that this was our first time eating there so the staff was kind enough to walk us through their favorites. We dined in and had the honey garlic wings. It took a little while to make because they make them fresh but other than that it was worth the wait. We noticed a lot of people coming in getting take orders so that's always a good sign. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. The flavors were amazing! I love a good crunch so you'll definitely get that with Korean wings! As a first timer, I just wish they had a sampler option for us to try different flavors but that wasn't an option. I think we would've order more if that was on the menu. The wings are pretty big so my son enjoyed them. I like small wings, I found three in the basket. Would we come back? Absolutely! I forgot the waitress's name but she was so kind... if you know me great customer service will have me coming back every time. Check them out for their amazing flavors and CRUNCH!

Very good crispy wings. I got the spicy fried and it was delicious and not really spicy. Loved the flavor. Their whole chicken is halal. Corn cheese is good and can only order for dine in. There is a lunch special circulating online but its not for that place. Service was good. They play k pop on the tvs.

My husband and I go to Saraga in Castleton once in a blue moon and this restaurant is always out of the corner of my eye. I am always in a rush and never even get to have the discussion of the possibility to visit this restaurant. So I got lucky enough to get to do my shopping alone and early. And I made a point to at least step inside and view the place and their menu. Wowza!! The place was not what I was expecting! It's casual and looks like the perfect place to meet friends. The aroma of fried food hit my nostrils immediately! There was a big neon sign that said,"Chicken and Beer". I already thought of twenty people I knew would be perfect pals to join us here. There weren't many folks inside being is was about 1130am. But I was greeted AND welcomed by a gentleman tidying tables. When I told him I was ordering to go, he directed me to the counter where two more extremely friendly folks helped me order. The sweet lady at the register guided me through the menu. I went for the 8pc boneless chicken with spicy sauce. They fry fresh--so be patient. I waited about 15-20 minutes. When I got to my car--my goodness the heat and aroma just permeated my car. I was going to wait till I got home--but naahhh, I couldn't wait. Burned my fingers and my tongue, but that chicken was none short of amazing! It was crunchy, spicy , sweet chicken! It was the most moist thigh meat! I had planned to share it with my husband when he got home from work. He was lucky enough to get three pieces. I never mentioned that I I ate the majority of it. Yes, I was ashamed. I am already plotting my return!

I only got takeout, but this place definitely bears a return visit for dine-in. It's in a non-descript strip mall with Saraga International Grocery, but the inside is pretty upscale. They are known for their Korean lfried chicken and they really have got the recipe down. They have a lot of flavors for. Their wings and boneless wings. They only have a couple flavors for the whole and half chickens, but I definitely need to try it.

I've had this establishment bookmarked for a while now, so when I found myself in the area, I decided to finally try it out. As soon as I walked to the counter, Yorik immediately greeted me and assisted with placing my order. I grabbed my order of secret sauce wings and onion rings to go but had a JPop at their bar while I waited. They have a large dining area and plenty of room at their bar, I would love to stop in again!

It's my new favorite chicken. We love it so much it was our NYE dinner (carry out and Wicked at home!). Their Gangnam style wings are amazing. The Secret sauce is sweet and slightly spicy. And the hot ones (Galbi and Mala) are HOT! The kimchi fried rice is so good- And those picked radish cubes make it perfection. The Rose' Ddeok-Bokki is so freakin good- the description sounds and it's not good cold-- but dang it's awesome. Give them a try. You won't regret it! We have done the bone-in and boneless. Both are very nice size and perfectly fried.

Decided to swing in here after a Costco trip to give it a try. Hubs enjoyed his chicken and the space was awesomely clean. Being our first trip in, we were oriented to the menu by staff and we placed an order to go. We were told it would be about 20-30 minutes (despite the place being empty) so we went over to Saraga to browse while we waited. The staff here could not be any nicer - however - I wish they had one vegetarian option and wish they would note that the Kimchi fried rice has chicken IN it. I know, I know - it's a chicken place - but it is not on the menu as having chicken in it. Was bummed to get it home and realize that I could not eat it (I am vegetarian). It was a pricey meal/snack and we wanted to support a local / new business. Oh well- we gave it a shot. Maybe next time I will just request it without the meats.

I visited this place for the first time today. It's tucked away in a strip center south and east of Castleton Square on Center Run Road. They offer a variety of boneless and bone in chicken wings with a number of unique sauce toppings. They also have a few Korean rice cake bowls as well as kimchi fried rice. I got the 8 piece boneless wings with Spicy Galbi sauce. First of all the boneless wings are quite large so you get a good portion of juicy white meat with every piece. The sauce had a kick to it and I enjoyed them. Can't wait to return and try one of the other sauces.

Have you ever had an occasion where you really built up an experience and convinced yourself it was…read moregoing to be awesome only to be kind of, well, let down? I must admit that's kind of what happened with tonight's visit at the new Raising Cane's in Castleton. Raising Cane's acquired the space formerly inhabited by the old Lifeway Bookstore. That building was torn down. A Raising Cane's was built in its place. Raising Cane's is a definite upstart chain having started in 1996 in Louisiana. Founder Todd Graves first proposed the restaurant a couple years earlier in a business class - the proposal received the lowest grade in the class. After all, who really would want a restaurant that only serves chicken fingers? Apparently, a lot of people. I'm a relative newbie to Raising Cane's, though I have been to the Avon, Indiana location a handful of times. And yes, it serves nearly exclusively chicken fingers - with the exception, I believe, of one chicken sandwich that I believe is actually comprised of chicken fingers. Now then, I also have to acknowledge that tonight I was hoping for something special. It's my birthday today. I'd contemplated going someplace where I'd get a freebie, however, when I saw Raising Cane's was open I knew I wanted to try it. I figured maybe I could sign up for a club or reward? Maybe I could get a dessert to celebrate? Nope and nope. It started off a little weird. There's a traffic guy in the parking lot helping to direct traffic. There's a two-lane drive-thru and parking along the side with a handful of spots directly in front of the building including two accessible spots. This guy, while friendly, was so chaotic I found myself worried an accident would happen. Plus, the parking is narrow enough that he encourages you to back into the spot. The other issue was that he never seemed to grasp I was a wheelchair user and pulled me back into a spot where I didn't have room on the side. I had to pull up and back again to force the issue - it was only when I got out that he seemed to grasp I needed to park next to the blue stripes. So yeah, that was weird and frustrating. I decided to dine in - again, hoping for a bit of a birthday thrill and time to relax. The decor is very Indy - lots of high school and college banners. You go up to the counter, order, and then they call your name (though sometimes also seem to bring it out). They call your name - LOUDLY. The acoustics are already a little tinny and the extra noise was a bit overwhelming. That said, I had a couple different people who were quite good in customer service and that deserves mentioning. There's some tables and booth/tables. I found the end of a table where I could park myself. Drinks are self-serve (large lids are far out of reach of most folks in a wheelchair). I ordered a Three-Finger Combo - three fingers (you probably guessed that), fries bread, and drink. You can upsize the drink for $.30. As is true for most chicken places, they do have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The food was good. Fries are crinkle cut. I'm not totally sold on Raising Cane's sauce for dipping the fingers (I didn't see other options). I did like the chicken fingers. I kind of have a feeling that those with sensory issues may get a bit overwhelmed here. There's a couple disco balls attached from the ceiling - they don't twirl or anything - between those and the noise level, it's definitely a bit overwhelming. Relaxing was definitely not what happened here. I left and an employee raced over to grab the door. Fortunately, the vehicle next to me had parked well enough that I had space to get in my car. I will admit that the birthday disappointment weighs in here, however, even without that I think the opening week vibes were showing - they actually opened yesterday. I'm hoping things will calm down. I'd definitely hit the drive-thru again, but I'd be hard-pressed to go inside. They do sell gear. They had lots of advertisements for an upcoming movie (produced by Peyton and Eli Manning). They apparently do have a rewards club called the Caniac Club - it's weird to me they weren't promoting that during opening week - I wouldn't have expected a birthday reward on my birthday at sign-up, but it still would have been nice. I'm still glad they're in this spot, however, I likely won't return until things calm down and they get the kinks worked out.

We ordered the chicken dinner for 2. And it came with a small portion of slaw..or a salad. Me and the wife are slaw people. And it was small...but really yummy. But not too long after - the star attraction arrived. A large place of chicken, 10 pieces..(not little weenie pieces) and mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans along with a few rolls and butter. The chicken was truly so hot - I had to pace myself eating because you could really see the steam coming off of it. But the skin...and the coating? My grandmother has passed many years ago - but I would have had to tell her she has serious competition. This chicken was surely what they serve if you get lucky enough to end up in heaven. The sides - the green beans and mashed potatoes were crazy good too and plenty warm. Our very pleasant waitress was Dawn and she was there to help with anything we needed. This truly is the tenderest most moist chicken you are going to get. I wanted to enjoy their pie also - but there was just no room in my belly and we were too far from home to cart 3 or 4 big pieces. I plan on taking that trip down I74 on the regular. It's a beautiful drive and quite honestly - Oldenburg is a super great place to visit. And for me - no need to try anyone elses chicken. It honestly hurt to see all that chicken go directly into the garbage, but they claim it was inedible. Since it's not a saucy type of flavoring, but a dry rub, they said that the heat was painful, and not flavorful. Back to the sandwich I enjoyed... I felt that there was a sweetness to the flavor that I liked, which I could see not everyone enjoying. There is also a hot dusting over the french fries which exacerbates any discomfort people are having from the heat. There really wasn't anything to cool it down. The macaroni and cheese was piping hot, although not spicy.

What an amazing experience time after time. Hollyhock has been a staple in my family for 50+ years…read more I can't say enough about the Hollyhock experience. Always great food, great service (ask for Missy she is a doll), and a great time!

First of all, we haven't eaten at Hollyhock Hill for several years. The last time we ate there each…read moretable was covered in a white table cloth. I don't remember the dish ware but it was appropriate. I also remember a celery and radish plate along with nice table decoration. Well, that is a memory busted. We were met when we walked in and seated at a cafeteria table. No décor, no table cloth and a menu that says white chicken dinner is $38.95. We had a lovely server who was accommodating as she could be but she was serving to large parties. One was about 16 people the other 12 and then our little party of 4 We ordered drinks but my friend ordered gin and tonic. They brought 2 different drinks, never tasting good and settled on a coke We asked about an offering on the menu. Turns out it is $29.99 for mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans. No chicken. We asked how many pieces are served in a chicken order and our server noted 2 or 3. We saw liver and gizzards and our server said they could make them a dinner ($29.99). We ordered those and it was a full dinner plate full. More than we could eat Eating on the "folding table" we were served food on Walmart dishware. They used to bring peppermint ice cream or syrup for a Sunday. It was served in a serving nice bowl. Now you get chocolate, butterscotch or strawberry in a squeeze bottle. Just another thing to cheapen the experience. Will I go back again? No way, after experiencing the before and after it is like going to a business that is struggling at the expense of the customer experience. I believe we could have eaten in Popeyes and had just as good of an experience $100 cheaper. Another Indianapolis tradition like Ayres tearoom slipping away.
