Beef short ribs (it's not spicy)
    Meenarin P.

Beef short ribs is good. Too much sauce but still tastes pretty good. Price might be a bit high when compare to other Korean restaurant in town and portion. Side dishes in the photo are for soup order only. Bone soup is not as good and not as authentic but good amount. Overall for food 4/5. Dining area , restroom , kitchen are clean. You can order from Kiosk and then find the seat you prefer!

The menu has a good selection of soups and entrees. The soups didn't have much flavor, and the food tasted okay. I would prefer to go to other Korean restaurants since this place was pretty expensive. They have Harmony boba drinks, which was nice. There's a decent amount of seating inside. You can order at a kiosk or talk to a person. The one person working was not very polite. Overall, it's good to try, but I probably wouldn't go back.

Oppa is great. I stopped by on a cold evening and it's just what I needed. The soup is so flavorful and I love all the sides you get. Service isn't anything to write home about and The ambiance is basic but food makes up for it.

I enjoyed the side dish variety and cozy meal with both rice and glass noodles in soup. Soup wasn't spicy to me. Although I like the meal, I'm not sure if it's the most authentic compared to other Korean restaurants I've had. The kalbi portion was a little small and the fried battered chicken coating was quite thick. it's pretty short staffed the day I went and it took like 45 minutes for food to come out when there were 3 tables but it was a comfortable environment to lounge for a bit. I would come back for the spicy soup.

Excellent food! Very no frills place but the staff were kind and the food was great. I got the beef bone broth soup and it came with a ton of side dishes and a bowl of rice. So yummy!

The soup was rich and comforting -- easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Would 100% come back

Decided to stop in for dinner togo and I'm so glad I did ! Food: Overall delicious, I was happy with what I ordered! And the food tasted amazing. After eating I didn't feel too heavy. The meal was fulfilling and light as well as tasted delicious. Service: after ordering at the kiosk, for dine-in they delivered to the table which was sweet. Ambiance: Ariana Grande playlist was amazing and matched the atmosphere.

Our foodie group came to Oppa Beef Bone Soup for some soup on a cold night. This was a wonderful hole-in-the-wall place in a strip mall in Castleton, and I was not expecting Oppa Beef Bone Soup to be so amazing and excellent. This is a very small space in a strip mall, and the ambiance is nice for a small space with nice decor and quotations around the space for motivation. I went up to the counter to place my order and a nice woman told me my options on the menu. They also carry a selection of Harmony Tea, so if you like Harmony Tea, you will live this place. After looking over the menu, I decided upon the signature Korean Beef Bone Soup, since that is what my friends ordered as well. I also ordered a Jasmine Green Tea with Matcha foam for my beverage. When I say down with my group, my food arrived to me within 5 minutes, so I was very impressed! The soup was huge and came with many toppings on the side to put in the soup. I was blown away by the actual bone in the soup with the beef on it and the beef coming off of the bone in the soup. It was an excellent presentation. The Korean Beef Bone Soup was the most amazing bowl of soup I have ever had in my life! Not only was there plenty of big beef chunks in my soup, the combination of flavors from the broth and the toppings I put into the soup i.e. Chinese fried noodles, seaweed, squid, etc. made it taste like pure heaven. For a cold night in Indy, this soup was the perfect meal. The Jasmine Green Tea was delicious and tasted wonderful as well. The matcha foam made it taste just as perfect. Oppa Beef Bone Soup is the perfect hole-in-the-wall spot for soup in Indy, and everyone needs to come here to check it out and get some beef bone soup. It is a wonderful meal for winter, and you will leave with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart!

Visited Oppa Beef Bone Soup and it instantly became a new favorite. I ordered the Special Beef Bone Soup, a Korean oxtail soup cooked for hours, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, savory, and full of tender, fall-off-the-bone meat. The glass noodles were the perfect touch, and the sides of rice, seaweed salad, and kimchi rounded everything out beautifully. My son had the Tonkotsu Ramen and enjoyed it, but he admitted he'd order my dish next time. And yes, we're definitely visiting again.

Fatty beef rice noodle soup - regular spicy

SO GOOD YES, I'm so happy with the flavors in the rice noodle soup! I just wish there was a little more toppings in it that didn't charge extra as it is a little pricey but getting this spice flavor is very rare in Indy so I'm still happy with it. Easy place to eat alone after running errands and service is very quick. Plenty of seating and there is a self order kiosk or you can order up front. Next time I definitely want to try the beef bone soup

Found this place by chance and what a find! Wonderful food, good and pleasant service. The place was clean and neat and would highly recommend!!

This beef soup is absolutely delicious -- rich, flavorful, and so comforting! A warm bowl of this beef soup is pure comfort food, especially on a cold day.

This place is great for groups. We were seated in a booth and we were greeted by our server right away. He did a great job of explaining the different options of what to order. The food was excellent! The hot bar & vegetable/salad bar were excellent! They had of bunch of different "appetizer" type options on the hot bar. However there was so much food with the KBbq that we were actually disappointed that we wasted stomach space on the hot bar (eventhough the food was good!). The hot pot was great & the broth had such great flavor. The KBbq was amazing! We really loved all the different cuts of meat for the grill! The short ribs were a fav & there's more than enough food for the table so everyone leaves more than full! It's also great that eventhough this place is busy & set up well for groups, it's not overly loud so you can still carry on a normal volume level conversation with others at your table! There are carnival type games and other distractions to pass the time. When seated your table has a large stove surface in the middle where you will either be doing BBQ or hot pot cooking. The menu is straightforward and easy to choose your option. The whole table has to choose the same option (BBQ or hot pot) so discussion might be helpful before the waiter arrives. Then you choose your meat and broth type and head to the never ending salad and veggie area. It has veggies, noodles, sauces, toppings and more! The waiter tells you em several times it is all you can eat, thus the higher price point. Make sure to note too though that if you order a lot more than you eat you will get charged a few for leftovers. They want to curb food waste which is commendable. I suggest starting small and then building as for sure you get full rather quickly! My favorite aspect was the sauce area where they listed sauce combos the recommend. It helped me a lot to have some guidance and I liked the sauce I chose from their list. A fun interactive experience and good for groups. It is loud and smelly as you are basically sitting inside a large kitchen. But a fun experience and yummy food so worth a visit!

I love heat and thought it was perfect, but if you're sensitive to spice you may want to ask for mild or none. The kimchi here is excellent (and available to purchase in small or medium containers). Their radish kimchi in particular is amazing--it's a must-try. Best of all, Sisters Korean is locally owned and operated. Highly recommend supporting them and enjoying a flavorful, authentic meal!

One of the reasons I loved it was the traditional charcoal grill, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. Most places use gas grills, but charcoal really gives the meat that authentic Korean BBQ flavor. Because of my past visits, I came in expecting the same level of food quality and service. However, it seems the restaurant may now be under new ownership because the experience felt very different from what I remembered. Service was noticeably slower, and the food quality was not what I had come to expect from Bando. The bulgogi, galbi, chicken, and marinated pork were all brought out together on one plate. When I asked if I could order just beef, I was told that meats cannot be selected individually. Instead, I could choose three meats that would be served in half portions. We were also told that if any of the meat was not finished, there would be an additional $10 charge per person. Another surprise was that the usual Korean BBQ accompaniments were missing. Typically, all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ includes items like steamed egg and soybean soup, but neither were provided. Lettuce for wraps was also charged separately at $4. It's unfortunate because this used to be one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots. The charcoal grill is still a great feature, but overall, the experience wasn't the same as before. Free parking is available, which at least makes visiting convenient. Sadly, it may be time for me to start looking for a new Korean BBQ restaurant.

It was a cold night and the staff had the heater on before we got in and turned it off upon arrival. Nice touch! Unfortunately our singing, dancing around, and drinking led to us warming up the room a little too much. There were big fans in the room which we turned on! I'm sad to say I never even asked them if they could turn on the AC. The couches in the rooms have seen better days. A few of them didn't have the proper support so when you sit in them you'd sink. Ordered drinks at the small bar in the lobby and we were charged all together at the end of the night. It was fun to navigate the large remote/keyboard. There are plenty of English songs, but be aware they are all in the pop genre. There were buttons for Bluetooth connection, so I suppose you could connect your phone, but we didn't use that feature. All and all, good spot to go to for some fun singing!

There is no transparency for room rates here and this gives a business an opportunity to swindle you. I originally had a party of 10 people and confirmed a reservation 2 weeks ahead of the time reserved. I was told to pay $100 deposit in addition to the $100/hr rate for the room. There is no clarity if that deposit can be refunded or what the policy is on the website or readily available to customers when they are on site. I discovered that this deposit is non-refundable, which is unfortunate that I had to eat that cost. Unfortunately, my party of 10 went down to a party of 6 due to funerals, COVID, and other uncontrollable circumstances. I tried calling several times prior to the reservation (Sunday and Wednesday before the Saturday reserved time) I was told on my final call speaking with the manager that since the group had reduced to 6 people they could put us at $50/hr in the small room. However, when I showed up, I was told that we were still in the $80/hr and there was no changing that. Also, we had a lot of technical difficulties. Wireless microphone receivers were not charged, so we kept getting disconnected. We had to change mics 3x when we were there. The employees were doing their best and were as accommodating as they could be, but ultimately the management is faulty. Transparency is important and this place does not have it. Also, I was not told tip was included. I usually tip 20% because times are tough and places don't pay their employees enough, but did not get an itemized receipt before this interaction. So I tipped an additional amount without knowing.
