I went for happy hour and the service was great. The bartenders were attentive despite the large crowd and the live music set a great tone. The drinks were great but I did find the food to be overrated. Still, the happy hour menu was a good deal and I would come back.

I must say that the best thing about this place is the ambiance. They are very intentional about the dim lighting and using items (ex. Wine) to create exquisite art throughout the establishment. There is a lot of parking spaces present at the location. The service was great. Our servers were phenomenal and attentive to our needs. The food will take some time to come out once placed. Overall, the food was alright. I got the teriyaki salmon with sticky rice and shitaki mushrooms. The salmon was cooked beautifully and I love that the sauce was not too bitter or sweet. However, it would have been wonderful if it had some heat to it. The shitaki mushrooms added a pleasant surprise. You are definitely paying more for the experience than the food.

Visited Ocean prime for the first time during Devour Indy. We don't know why we haven't eaten here before! For devour INDY they had a three course meal. The first course was choice of salad, French Onion Soup or deviled eggs. My wife and I both got the French Onion Soup. It was a cold night and it sounded good. Good does not describe the soup. It was excellent! In fact, it is some of the best French Onion Soup we have ever had. For the entrée, you could get 6oz teriyaki salmon for $18, 6oz pork chop for $25, 6oz blackened snapper for $18, or a 60z fillet for $20. It was $55. My wife got the snapper and I got the fillet. My steak was cooked just the way I ordered and like it. The blackened snapper was wonderful! Our meal was served promptly and was hot when it arrived at the table. The dessert option was five layer carrot cake or ice cream. Our meal was so filling that we got our dessert to go. They have a nice lounge/bar area. They have a happy hour until 6 PM on weekday nights. Good prices on both drinks and food. They serve a bowl of free popcorn in the lounge. Very nice atmosphere in this area of the restaurant. You can just go, sit in the bar, and make a meal of appetizers during happy hour. We will definitely return! Service was also outstanding. Very professional and attentive. Our bill was accurate.

Came here for the Devour Indy event with my dinner group. We received fantastic service and the food was phenomenal, with the exception of the carrot cake, which was unfortunately what I was looking forward to the most. I had the deviled eggs for my appetizer which were nicely filled, could have used a tiny bit more flavor, but were delicious with a lot of filling piped atop. For my main course I had the salmon which came on a bed of sticky rice amidst a soy butter sauce... So this was hands down the best salmon I have ever had in a restaurant. The rice was perfectly done, not mushy and not too hard either. The soy butter sauce was simply divine. And the salmon ... also done to perfection. So often you get a dry piece of fish, this was a juicy delicious and rather large piece of salmon. Sooo very good. Alas the carrot cake, what a tragedy there. Granted it has been a while since I had ventured here (simply financial reasons) but on my last visit I enjoyed the carrot cake, which then had been a light fluffy, mile high high to die for affair. It had been so good, I remember it vividly and so I talked everyone into getting it for dessert. Now I feel guilty for that because what we got was far cry from my last experience. While this cake had the same amount of layers, each layer was dense, hard and tasteless. I would never again pay money for that. But back to the good parts. I had been torn about which cocktail to indulge in and my server took the time to make recommendations. I decided on the Berry Bubbles, which is named well. The drink was indeed bubbling looking like a witches cauldron and it kept going and going and going. I was a bit hesitant to drink it at first, afraid of getting bubbles up my nose, but they did not. I got to taste some of the creme brule too, which is huge and super delicious.

I finally got to try this place for happy hour and it was so delicious I went back again the next day. First things first, the place is really nicely decorated. Dim lighting creates a smooth vibe. They have a dining area, but the bar is the place to be. It gives very much sophisticated. The staff is very friendly and helpful and quick with the service. Tammy the bartender was my favorite. She started me off with a cocktail named The Osprey and it was really good. Check the picture of the menu to see what is all in it. The first day I went with some friends and family and we tried a little bit of everything on the happy hour menu. First was the Dynamite roll which was sushi. It was really good. Next we had the Crab Cake sliders which were to die for. They had this cheese on it that really made the slider. Next up I ordered the Lamb Lollipops, cooked medium and they came out perfect. Juicy and very well seasoned. It also came with this celery/carrot slaw on the side. Also great. Next up was the Short Rib Sliders. Now for these, they were good but could have used a little sauce to make them not as dry. But still good. We had the oysters next, which I'm not a big fan on raw oysters but these hit different. Made me rethink my palette. We also tried the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge and tasted very fresh but my only problem with this is that there should have been more shrimp. It only comes with 4. Add one or two more and that would be perfect. Lastly, I had the Sakura Waygu cheeseburger. It was tender, melted in my mouth, and well seasoned. I mean delicious. All this to say it was a complete 10/10. I will be back for sure. Thank you for the great experience.

Ocean prime is my absolute favorite restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was treated with two lovely smiles and the atmosphere was perfect. I got my complimentary coat check and was seated almost immediately. I opted to sit at the bar and they brought my truffle popcorn and water that I requested. Christian had amazing service and I got my favorite drink (Black Orchid) and the Red Snapper , the house salad & the carrot cake. Parking includes self park or valet. I come here atleast twice a month and truly enjoy each visit .

Last week, we enjoyed dinner at Ocean Prime celebrating my son's successful school year. I hadn't been there in a few years but I'm so glad we decided to go. Our server James was amazing and he was very attentive and made sure my son felt seen and special on such a very busy Saturday. My favorite was the steak and the deviled eggs! The steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you James for an amazing experience; when we return we will definitely request you!

Phil was phenomenal! The presentation of food, recommendation of wine, and the atmosphere was amazing.

I believe you are paying for the service because the food was under seasoned to me. It has been several years since I have been but I was not blown away after my last visit. As a lover of popcorn I throughly enjoyed the popcorn that was for the table. 5 stars for the service!

    Kevin T.

TL;DR: Come for the service. The food is alright but the drinks and the atmosphere are more notable than the grub Came for quick happy hour drinks and bites before dinner Ordered: - truffle popcorn (free): this was delicious and perfect appetizer to whet the appetite - Steak tartare (2/5): pass. went against the servers suggestion and that was the mistake. dry tartare. way too much bread. not good. not worth. - Hamachi Crudo (4.5/5): delicious and pretty plate. A little over-sauced but otherwise great - Asparagus side (4/5): perfectly cooked asparagus. Skip the hollandaise. - Bacon creamed spinach (4/5): really good. would've been way better if they paired it with something to dip it with Will be back for the drinks, popcorn, and the good conversations with the staff Cheers, Ocean Prime

Some of the best calamari I've had! I loved the sweet chili sauce it was tossed in. The waiter we had recommended the lamb lollipops, and he was spot on. The lamb was juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. It's nice having a waiter that truly knows the menu. I highly recommend coming for happy hour. It's all night on Thursday in their lounge. The patio is also super relaxing with a slightly tropical vibe.

We came for my birthday and had such a phenomenal time. Walking inside, it was absolutely beautiful. We were quickly greeted by our server. She recommended a few drinks and I got the black orchid. The martini glass had an ice cube with an orchid frozen in it - i loved it! Our food was fantastic. It was staged perfectly where we had time to eat and digest but didn't wait too long. We'll be back!

We could not have had a better experience. Last night of Devour and this place knocked it out of the park. 5 star service from all the staff. Great recommendations. The pretzel bread was amazing. French onion was the perfect umami starter. Incredibly hollandaise for the oscar style filet. Steak cooked to perfection. And the mango sorbet finale for a sweet ending. We will be back

We selected Doc B's and it was our first time here. Normally, we would be at one our favorite restaurants across the parking lot, Seasons 52. I'm so happy we tried Doc B's. It was absolutely amazing on every single facet of being a great eatery. The facility is inviting and fits a business casual lunch crowd and would also be most appropriate for a date night or special gathering. Friendly and prompt service starts at the hostess stand and just builds from that point. Our server, Sam (Samantha) was one of the most professional and attentive server we have experienced in some time. It takes a great management team to mold a staff to be exceptional. And to our surprise the General Manager, John served us our entrees at the table. But later checked in with us to evaluate our experience; which is unheard of these days. John and Samantha impressed us so very much, that Doc B's will now become a regular destination. Oh yes, I should comment on our food and cocktails. TOP NOTCH!! My wife had a carnitas sandwich with slow roasted pork, coleslaw, a pickle spear and thick onion ring with amazing barbecue sauce. It was served with the best tasting side I have ever put in my mouth. You must see what they do with a smashed baby Yukon potato with special breading and deep fried. I had the famous Wok Bowl with shrimp and lo mein noodles and sweet and spicy Thai sauce. It is packed with the freshest vegetables and sprinkled with cashews. I was blown away with the quantity of shrimp in that bowl. They do not skimp on the protein. I enjoyed this dish so very much and can truly say it isnt just a stir fry entree. During that entire time, no one had even taken our entrée order. Our server was pleasant, but she wasn't very present. We found ourselves constantly looking around for her, but she was nowhere to be found when we needed something. She brought me a glass of water without ice, so I had to ask for it. Thankfully, they have the good nugget ice, so that was definitely a win. One thing that really stood out was the food delivery. Normally, restaurants use seat numbers so the food runner knows exactly where each dish belongs. Instead, they just placed plates wherever there was space. It was odd. Maybe it was because we were seated at a round table? I ordered the wings with a side of broccoli. The wings were decent--good enough, but nothing I'd go out of my way to order again. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately it wasn't warm. I also asked for hot habanero sauce and a side of garlic butter. The habanero sauce was disappointingly watery, and the garlic butter arrived cold. Why not melt the butter before bringing it to the table? The entire experience left me scratching my head. That said, I'll definitely give them another chance because this really felt like an off night. I still want to try the candied bacon, and I'm almost certain I spotted a hot fudge sundae making its way to another table--even though I didn't see it anywhere on the menu! Wish me luck!
