    Sunny afternoon

High-end cigar bar with great selections in booze and smokes. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Multiple atmospheric seating areas. A great place to hang and have conversation.

Valentine's Day Break-up (Save your relationship, DON'T GO HERE) I'll make the play-by-play short because who wants to stick around for that... I've purchased hundreds of Davidoff cigars from Blend over the years, I usually buy boxes. In fact, I currently have more than 400 Davidoff cigars in a Humidor which I affectionately call my "Davidoffidor". Almost all of them were purchased from Blend. Although I have purchased hundreds of cigars from them, I haven't frequented the lounge that often, maybe 10 times. Here's the break-up...their employee wasn't pleased that I lit up a cigar not purchased from them, even though I made him aware that I've purchased 100's of cigars from them previously - including 6 the week before ($200). I had one of those sticks with me, but my wife asked me to smoke the smaller of the two cigars I brought. I also pointed out that we already purchased $30 worth of drinks. (FYI - $30 gets you an Old Fashioned and a cup of coffee) His response was "I'll let you finish this time" and "you can't smoke here without a cut fee". (He didn't explain what a cut-fee is) I then pointed to the DD cigar I bought the week before and asked "what would your reaction be if I were smoking that one?" He said "I would give you the benefit of the doubt." "We have rules and you know them." Well, in fact I didn't know them, I still don't...but I also have rules. Don't treat me like that. I avoid places where staff uses phrases like "we have rules", I'm not a 21 yo frat boy burning a cigar to death. Most importantly, I don't pay people to treat me that way. It's important to note that after having this conversation, he dropped the check and didn't offer any additional service to us. You know, on Valentine's Day.

So at first glance the drinks are pricy but they pour a 3 ounce pour so it's actually reasonable. Great choice of smokes and amazing air scrubbers. There can be fifty people puffing away and the air is still clear and you don't leave reeking. The truly special thing about this place is the staff. They are absolutely Fing AMAZING. Beat service in town.

Beautiful setup. I ordered a beer, a cigar blade and a torch. $25 before I sat down. Brought out my $35 AF Forbidden X Pasion and was told I wasn't allowed. BTW the other 3 people were drinking water and bought zero accessories. They spent $8 drinking water and were welcome. I spent $25 before I sat down and was not welcome. LAME! I spent more than 3 of them!

This is one of me and my husband's favorite place. Somehow this place is able to pull off being comfortable for all people, even if you aren't a cigar smoker. They have lounge chairs but also high top tables and bar seating. They have an amazing wine list, cocktails and premium liquor. They also have a small food selection but we typically go after we have eaten for a night cap. Oh it's a cigar bar so I should mention their state of the art humidor. I have no idea how many cigars that place can hold but out of all cigar bars in the city they have the most selection and it's very well laid out. There is a guy named Richard that knows his sh*t let me tell you. You just walk in and say kinda what you like and he will offer you something amazing. Oh and Richard is so good he has a drink named after him called Project R, tell him i sent you! Afraid it's gonna be too smokey? Don't be. They invested lots of money to ensure you don't walk out smelling like a cloud of smoke. Their air filtration system is amazing. The crowd and vibe is super chill, all sorts of ethnicies, all types of people jjst a really nice place. Ladies it can get a little cold in there so totally recommend bringing a jacket of some sort. It can be a little pricey depending on the type of cigar you purchase and drink but we just know that going in and are prepared. My only complaint is I the music. It's fine but this kind of place screams for maybe some alternative type of music.

The best cigar bar in Indiana. Hands-down, the best ventilation HVAC system I've ever experienced in a cigar lounge. You literally don't even realize you're sitting in a bar with dozens of people smoking cigars! The service drinks and food are a 10 out of 10. No wonder this bar has been voted number one in the country for Cigar lounges!

Great service. Great outdoor sitting. Bryan was amazing. Gave great advice on cigar, food and drinks. Beautiful outside sitting area.

Top Notch! Great atmosphere. Staff is second to none. The ventilation system is excellent, limited smoke, high air exchange. In my top 3 across the country.

Steak night at blend on Tuesdays is my families favorite! For $60 you get a fabulous piece of fisher farms filet cooked to perfection a side, a cigar, and a glass of wine! Our server Gineane and Corey the owner were fabulous. We love the atmosphere because we don't smell Smokey when we leave either. Can't wait to go back for the next steak night!

Danielle lighting my cigar for the 1000th time, I was having some issues ‍. I was talking too much so my light kept going out!

Moving here from Miami I missed the cigar lounge scene. I had the pleasure of checking this place out after dinner. When I walked in I didn't feel like I was in Indiana. I felt like I had been transported back to the south. Danielle was our waitress (she was wonderful) and she cool. For drinks she recommended the espresso martini... VERY good ! We also had a few bourbons that were also good. We watched the Pacers game then after that the same loop of pictures kept playing so there was nothing to watch after that. The music was good and it's roomy enough to where you don't feel cramped. I also didn't feel like I was obeing suffocated with smoke. I been to lounges like that... My first cigar was too small for my liking and I couldn't pull any creamy flavors from it. I think it was called the Avo classic. I went to a bigger one that will be discontinued soon. I think it was called the gusto toro. It was good but next time we will get something with a stronger blend. You really have to try different cigars to see what will work for you. It depends on your palate and your mood. I LOVED the bathroom!! There's something about a lovely bathroom with from flowers from a local business that impressed me... it was clean, private and inviting. So when you're there GO TO THE BATHROOM! Lol If you're use to Cuban cigars then you'll be slightly judgmental (insert me) but I know I'm in a different city so flavor and quality will vary. We enjoyed ourselves and next time we will come with our lighters and tools. We didn't plan on going but I'm so glad we stopped in and chilled there. Request Danielle, she knows her stuff! Update! Went back and once again I had a great time. Josh, our waiter, was awesome. Ask for him! He turned me on to the Maduro line and I'm in love with these cigars . Full body, sweet and creamy.

Big screen frames my Sazerac rye Manhattan & Fuente smoke! All is well with the World...

Great, high class place with a good selection of bourbons & ryes and a nice-sized humidor full of good cigars. The Staff is friendly and attentive enough without getting into your space. Need some La Gloria Cubans cigars and Suavecito Tequila to really get down to business! Stopped by on first night of NCAA 2021 tourney after traipsing down to Bloomington in the rain. Perfect end to a very, VERY PROductive day!

Great customer service, excellent selection of cigars great food, I'll be coming back to it. I had a Davidoff Winston Churchill cigar,

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. We all agreed the desserts were scrumptious. We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, service was brisk without a single thing being overlooked. The service - exceptional. We ordered the lemon drop martini, Elmo Cola, the Gatsby and liquid love affair. I asked for the liquid love affair to have a very light pour of alcohol and they obliged. Everyone loved their drinks. Even me. And I am NOT a drinker. We ordered shrimp cocktails, lobster bisque, steaks and lobster. Everything so good. My son's steak was overdone but they happily remade it and ALL the sides that came with it. Just immaculate service. We also ordered the chocolate mousse pie. We asked our server to place the candles we had brought on top. Lemme tell you. The service. Just so good. She realized they were sparkler candles so she waited to light it until she was at our table. We did ask the manager if we could present our son his gift during dinner. It was a firearm and we didn't wanna cause any drama or "unsafe" feelings even though, obvi, it wouldn't have been loaded. We did want to respect the establishment and their other patrons. He kindly declined and, of course, we understood. Can we talk about service? Just so exceptional. Customer service for me will make or break any experience. The bills was... A LOT. Even AFTER they comped everything the birthday boy had ordered. But even if they hadn't comped ANYTHING... I always believe in paying good money for good food. The place was clean. The bathroom clean. And there is a lot for parking. Just the best time was had.

We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

Spritzes are amazing but not enough sometimes, so I also got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Yum! The pour was generous. I kept my drink orders simple this visit, but Thieves has a whole menu full of creative cocktails. What you do when you enter is just sit down, and someone will come by and take your order.
