I FINALLY got to visit Del Frisco's after hearing such rave reviews on it. I was thrilled to join a group of friends and family for a night out before a concert. Though service was slow at times, Del Frisco's was able to accommodate our larger party, and for that I am thankful. I am such a foodie, so being able to try this establishments version of some of my favorite things was nice. Del Frisco's served me THE BEST dirty martini! I can't wait to do a "Best of" tour for dirty and espresso martinis, because this will be my last stop knowing I'll be getting the best one. They oyster and lobster Mac and cheese was very good. I also LOVED the beef carpaccio. Although, I really wanted to enjoy the braised short rib, it was overly salted. I was disappointed in that. I will be back to Del Frisco's again in the future.

Del Friscos was an amazing time, and it was aesthetically pleasing. The lady who helped me was extremely nice and accommodating. I was indecisive about my drink and, of course, my meal, and she helped me ease my decision. For dinner, I went with the Seared Chilean Sea Bass and lobster mac and cheese. Due to my sesame allergy, I was unable to get the crab fried rice, which was disappointing; however, I managed, and my Sea Bass was still good. It was light, buttery, and airy. It left me wanting more. On my side, I chose the Lobster mac and cheese. It was good, cheesy, and filled with more than enough lobster for me. And for my drink, I can't remember the name, but it was delightful. Overall, I had a great experience and will be back for more delicious offerings. One last thing I forgot, the bread was sooooo good that I can go back and order it by itself. :)

We came to Del Frisco's to celebrate my birthday. We had heard good things about them and have tried their other locations and other state. When we arrived, they had live music playing, which is a lovely touch. We were seated in the bar area, which typically is our preferred area to sit because we enjoy cocktails. We love interacting with the bartenders. But on this particular night, it seemed like the service team was overwhelmed. We were there for almost 2 hours, which we probably only talked with the server four times in that timeframe. While the food was good and was definitely our favorite part, I do have a dairy allergy and asked for no cheese on a good portion of my food. I was told it was able to accommodate that, but all of my food came out with cheese on it. Which normally wouldn't be a problem, but I didn't see a server or couldn't get someone's attention to stop for about 15 minutes to which we had largely finished our meal with the exception of my food. We did not want to continue to wait because we did not know how long it would take to remake that food. With that said the appetizers we had were really good, the calamari was some of the best calamari I've had. Not sure if we will give it another try, the food was good. I think if we're in the downtown area and it's convenient we would. But the service just was not what we would expect from this type of restaurant.

When we first walked in, we heard a beautiful voice singing live. A beautiful young lady played piano and sang many songs beautifully. It immediately put us in a good mood. My daughter quietly sang along few songs while waiting for our food. Service was great. Food was ok. I like mocktails but the zero proof drink option was not at my taste. They made up something for me according to my favorite choice of fruit flavor and it was good. Appetizers were ok. Steak was cooked to perfection. Overall it was good. FYI, I saw a valet parking sign of $25 so we went to a public parking next to the restaurant which costed us only $7.

    Ro W.

I was greeted by valet to park my car which was $25. As I entered the building, I was greeted with a smile as I mentioned it was there for a birthday dinner. I was escorted to my seat. Everyone was super friendly our server was great. I called ahead of time to see if they had any vegan options and of course they did. Not only did they offer a vegan option at a steakhouse but they also had mocktails. I felt like it was my birthday. We ordered appetizers and warm bread was served while we waited for our food to come out. I ordered a salad and it was a 10/10. My main entree was the cauliflower steak and when I say its the best I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating. It was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. There was live music. The entire place was a vibe. I can't wait to visit again. My total including gratuity for a salad, mocktail, and cauliflower steak was $76.

My second visit to Del Frisco's was just as good as my first but this time, it was date night for my birthday. He surprised me with dinner reservations & we had the best time. We both ordered the ribeye steak & for sides we shared mashed potatoes & broccolini. He ordered a medium well steak & I had medium, they switched our steaks by mistake but it was an easy fix we just switched our plates haha. He even had them personalize me a birthday card with a cute handwritten personalized poem inside & the entire crew including the chef signed it, how sweet! AND since it was my birthday, we got to try the butter cake which was 10/10! I've also come to the realization that their bread is top 2 & it's not 2 haha.

I reserved a last minute birthday reservation here and I was blown away with how special they made me feel on my day! Even from the start with the hostess, who was very personable and funny, Matthew, our server who was very welcoming and attentive and we also had a manager check in on us as well. When we sat down at the table, there was a birthday card sitting for me and actually signed by some of the staff, it was such a kind touch! We both had crab cakes with a side (no complaints), the bread they provide before the meal was, (as Matthew stated) addicting! The birthday dessert was delicious and the restaurant itself is gorgeous, with beautiful chandeliers and a upscale decor! I would highly suggest Del Frisco's and would love to visit again!

    Jumbo lump crab cake
    Kimberly T.

Nice, upscale steakhouse with great service. I ordered the jumbo lump crab cake, roasted half chicken, lemon drop martini, and warm butter cake. The jumbo lump crab was good, it was mostly crab with minimal filler. The roasted half chicken was moist and juicy. It came with mashed potatoes which were a little on the thinner side. It also came with a gravy that was too salty for my taste. The lemon drop martini was delicious, light and refreshing. The warm butter cake was moist but the caramel was a little grainy. I almost forgot the star of the show which is the warm bread they serve when you are first seated. The restaurant is worth visiting for the warm bread alone.

10 out of 10 experience. We were greeted by the host who then sat us. Once the waitress came she offered her suggestions which was great but I already knew what I wanted. I was excited to visit the Indianapolis location because when visiting the NYC location with my job it's always a hit. The bread was phenomenal, I mean the softest most buttery piece of heaven. The steak Was well prepared and the knife cut right through ( prime ribeye) my chicken had the perfect crispy crust and was very juicy. The dynamite shrimp was also yummy (I wish it was a little more spicy) I enjoyed the moscato Asti wine as well (which was very smooth) the warm butter cake was divine. Overrall the ambiance was very quiet and romantic. I enjoyed my time and the staff were truly amazing. They kept checking on us and making sure we were pleased with the service and food. I highly recommend visiting this location.

Food was fantastic! They have the best rolls I've had so far. Hit and fluffy, buttery and sweet. I had the roasted chicken and it was delicious. Juicy and flavorful. It comes on a bed of mash. We also ordered a side of creamed spinach and it BLEW MY MIND! Cheesy, creamy and Smokey from the bacon in it. My waiter was extremely friendly and provided great service. It was a bit dim but if you like a romantic setting, this is your spot.

The service at this place was exceptional. The staff were so warm and welcoming. I was looking forward to coming here as I don't frequent restaurants like this very often. The rolls were amazing. They were sweet but also salty and buttery at the same time. They came out piping hot. For my entree I got the Snake River Farms wagyu steak. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. It was a little salty but otherwise perfect. I also got the lobster Mac and cheese. So good. Made with huge chunks of lobsters. Excited I had leftovers so I can eat it again. My brother got the crab cake entree. They were delicious with huge pieces of crab. He also got the truffle fries which were so good. The portion was huge so again we have leftovers. I had to try to butter cake for dessert. It was yummy. Topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and caramel I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was so elegant. We were seated upstairs and it was wonderful. Such a great elevated experience.

This is a fantastic place for a high-end experience and a special occasion. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance was superb, and on the night we were there, a live singer performed who sounded just like a recording--it was a perfect touch. The service was attentive and personable, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was, for the most part, absolutely delicious and well-flavored. While the tab was costly, it was absolutely worth the spend for the overall experience. The only minor critique is that my main entree was just okay, and I likely wouldn't order it again. My recommendation? Definitely get the steak! The entire experience was a solid 5/5, but due to that one dish, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars (or 4.5)

Came here to celebrate my birthday, which happens to fall within Devour, & everything was exceptional. Service was great & coursed out perfectly. Food was excellent.

The lobster roll was soggy and honestly? Too much. I prefer a classic lobster roll - warm, lobster, bread that still has a little crunch to it (just the tiniest bit), butter - but not too much. This was soggy and the celery situation took away from the essence of a lobster roll for me. I've never liked the lobster salad rolls, and I did make sure there would be no mayo - but I think this was a bit much. Too much butter. Too many toppings. The flavor wasn't amazing. My dad really liked the perch. So much that he didn't let me try it. Lol but it looked good! The fried okra was solid. Kinda hard to mess that up, so no complaints there. Same thing with the fish tacos as the lobster roll. They're very busy. I like tasting my food - not piling the toppings on so things get lost. So, I scraped pretty much everything off. The fish was good! I got my mom the fried oysters. No complaints. Her meal came with two sides, so I got greens and Mac and cheese. I didnt try the Mac, but they said the greens were top tier. They had a nice flavor, but they're spicy - so avoid them if you can't deal with a lot of spice - probably red pepper. They threw in a crab cake for free and I thought that was really sweet of them. I didn't like the way it looked on the inside, so I only nibbled at it. Definitely not what this Maryland girl is used to... the winner is still Commisson Row on crab cakes in Indy so far. Anyway! Cute little tucked away spot, small parking lot, but spacious inside. Quite a few tables and chairs and fresh seafood in the cases. I'd go again and try some different things based on other reviews.

We ordered the lobster hoagie and hush puppies. Both were... fine. Not bad, but nothing that wowed us or justified the anticipation. The seafood on display just looked sad not fresh, not vibrant, not the kind of stuff that makes you want to throw something in a bag and take it home to cook. I fully understand we're landlocked in Indiana and truly fresh seafood is a challenge, but if that's your entire concept, the product has to be able to hold its own. Left feeling more disappointed than anything. I so wanted to love this place and will be rooting for them to level up but for now, this Florida girl will keep searching.

The lobster deviled eggs were super unique and honestly one of my favorite bites. Creamy, slightly tangy, and topped with lobster--it's not something you see everywhere, and they executed it really well. My husband tried the shrimp burrito, which was great for a seafood spot. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and filled generously. It didn't feel like an afterthought on the menu. To finish, the cheesecake was a great choice it was from the cheesecake factory is what the offered for my birthday smooth, rich, and just the right level of sweetness with a strawberry topping to end the meal without being overwhelming. I feel like most seafood places will have vegetarian options by way of removing the fish from pasta dishes or salad, but it's also nice to know that you can get chicken as a substitute on most of these kinds of dishes, too. Granted, it's just like chicken tenders, but still good nonetheless. I really like their firecracker pasta, which is moderately spicy in my opinion. There's no particular fishy smell here, which is always a good sign that the seafood they serve here is freshly prepared. Our food always comes out quickly for lunch and we've been a group as large as 8 or 9. I do believe that ordering is mostly done online in their mass Ave location, though. I don't really seek out a place like Slapfish on my own (no offense at all, just not a seafood girlie!!), but I would assume that it's a rather popular establishment as they recently opened a fifth location in the greater Indy area. If I did like fish and such more, I'd probably be here on a more regular rotation.
