The crab/shrimp combo, medium with the garlic butter
    Ashely M.

Very good food. Make sure that your entire party is present if you have a reservation. It's stated that there are no exceptions, but they were very nice about us waiting for the last member of the party. I got the shrimp/crawfish combo in medium with the boiling sauce and I was pretty pleased with it. It was my birthday dinner and I'm already planning what I'm gonna a get for the next outing

Easily one of my new favorite places in Indy!! It's much more affordable compared to the other seafood restaurants in the city. Friendly customer service and fast!! It was our first time here, but definitely won't be our last! I can't stop talking about this place!!

Honestly this is one of the best seafood spots that I have been to. I was here for a huge conference and I see why the word got out quickly about Crab99. By the time we made it, there was a huge crowd of people waiting to be seated. It took us 45 minutes to be seated, but once we were the service was great and we received our food pretty quickly. The ambience is super casual. The music playing, people dancing, the bar is lively, etc. The service was really great as well. Every staff member we encountered that day was very pleasant. Now on to the food! Yummy! Literally one of the best if not the best seafood boil I've had. The sauce, size of the crab legs, lobster, and shrimp, etc. I truly enjoyed. Plus, they give you so much! I created my own bowl, so everything was priced separately. Loved it!

I was actually Surprised at the quality and taste of the food. This isn't some thrown together seafood. i got the boil bowls. glad the switched from the bags. i saw another review about that and they now serve in metal bowls! 10/10 experience would definitely come back.

    Spicy (pickly) margarita

Our server was good -- friendly & attentive. Food was okay, but it just wasn't a comfortable vibe. The music was very loud, which would've been okay maybe at night, but we were there at 1 pm for lunch and struggled to have a conversation over the blaring music. One of the guys who worked there was walking around with a gun on his hip -- it definitely didn't give off a safe or relaxed feel. If that's how it is in the middle of the day, I would not want to be there late night on a weekend. I ordered the spicy margarita. Usually, they're made with fresh jalapeño, but this one used pickled jalapeños, which gave the drink an unpleasant pickly taste. I only finished half of it. The lobster roll was okay, but the lobster was a little overcooked & tough. Maybe that's why they felt the need to chop it all into tiny bits; I've never had a lobster roll served that way before. The seasoning on the Cajun fries was great, but the fries were mostly limp & soggy. If the fries had been crispy, they would've been amazing. Basically, this is not the atmosphere I'm looking for from either a lunch spot or a sports bar. The cocktails were not great (My husband was not impressed with his mojito, either.), and the food was just okay.

10/10 ! Came here on a Saturday for drinks and ending splitting a crab/ shrimp combo with my girls. It was so much food and so delicious. The combo was about $50 but was enough for me and my 2 friends. I also took some home. The combo included 2 corns and potatoes. One of the best seafood boils I've had in Indy. We were greeted and seated quickly. We decided to sit at the bar due to a 25 minute wait. The best decision of the night. Our Bartender Don was thee Best ! As busy as this place was she was efficient, attentive , and very personable. The drinks was fire ! This is definitely one of my favorite spots now. Come here for drinks , and food is great. Oh the playlist was on point. Get the Henny Margarita

The Cajun rice was a 10/10 it was really good I would definitely order again The pasta wasn't bad, very greasy. I ordered it w.o extra meat. It tasted better the next day as leftovers If you're coming for a late night meal, there is a18% fee. The waiters indicated those funds go them as a tip.. which is crazy because why is the customer paying for your late night shift we got our oder in right before 10PM and just tipped in cash The oysters were really good you couldn't find the oyster meat under thw cheese and toppings but the flavor was good We also ordered the Tuesday catfish special and it is served w. Fries no sides they give you two big pieces for $10

Look, my husband and I love seafood boils and Crab99 is one of the best in the city! The crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish are so tasty and fresh. The mix of all the sauces are just the right amount of flavor. 4 stars only because the frozen drinks tasted like water and it felt like there was no AC in the restaurant. Other than that, we will be back!

We went to this place as a recommendation from our Uber driver. When you first walk up, there is a sign that says today special $25 for half a pound of snow, crab, half a pound of shrimp, corn, one egg, and sausage. The person at the front desk was not very friendly. I did not catch her name, but she is short to medium height with dark hair and glasses. She was on the phone talking to a customer and she was very short with the person on the other end of the phone. It took a little bit of time for us to get seated and the place was not that busy. Our waitress and I wish I remembered her name was very nice, polite, genuinely happy and was very accommodating. It got to be a little bit busier towards the end and she forgot a few items but that is understandable. She apologized. One thing I will say is that they played really good music. The kind of music that you want to dance in your chair while you eat, it's a little loud, but not too bad where you cannot hear the person in front of you but it's definitely a more lively, upbeat environment. So I asked for the $25 special and she said that unfortunately it is $35 now because it is after 6 PM. That was fine, but in my opinion if it's after 6 PM, you should probably take the sign down. We got the snow crab and shrimp special and it was delicious. I can't remember the name of the sauce, but it is the one that combines all the flavors. Medium spice was perfect, some places say medium and it's too hot to eat, but this was a perfect spice. The sauce was tasty and flavorful and not too salty. I highly recommend getting Ramen on the side and then throwing that Ramen inside the bowl to soak up that sauce. We also ordered the lobster fries which were above average, but a little too expensive for the small amount of lobster that you get. I heard The shrimp Poboy was really good here. We did not order it, but our Uber driver told us to get it and the table next to us said that it was really good. We may have to come back just to try the shrimp Poboy. As we were leaving, I needed some utensils for my to go order, the same girl at the front was talking to our waitress, and they were having an entire conversation about parking in the front and if there was a tow truck and so on and so forth, but did not acknowledge me. There were two workers in the front one Male and the same female that was on the phone earlier. After about a minute of listening to them talk about parking in the front I had to interrupt her and ask her if I can please have some utensils to go. She looked at me, rolled her eyes, grab the utensils and put them in my bag without saying a word. It's employees like this that make me not want to go back to an establishment, even if the food was pretty good. Everybody else was great, but the two in the front can use a little education on customer service. That being said, I would come back here again and would just pay no mind to the employees that were a little less than helpful . Shout out to our waitress though was awesome and genuinely happy to be working there. If it wasn't for the poor customer service at the end of the night, I would have given this restaurant five stars.

There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.

Keagan Fife (Manager) - A team player, receptive to feedback and conscientious. We had a issue while there and he was able to step in and problem solve with me and come up with a solution that really won us over. We had a moment where it was feeling a bit "why did we come here" but his customer service exceeded expectation. That's good management. (He's the gentleman in the video below.) Let's get the negative out the way 1st. The first waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her we hadn't received menus. She came back sat them down and walked away. We never saw her again. A new waitress came and she seemed pleasant enough. Once we were all seated she began to take our orders. She made a point to say she needed to write it all down or she was get it mixed up. She then did not write anything down. Our food came out extremely slow but that wasn't a huge deal because we all were mingling. A lot of her team had to step in and deliver our food, give drinks, check on us etc. She was pretty non existent. Two of the ladies never received food. This was after we had been there for 2 hours and everyone else had received their items. At the end when we asked for our check they were all mixed up and confused. The waitress then blamed us for adding things and moving around. We never moved once and she only came around the one time when she originally took our orders. We never got a chance to add things. (it was quite comical that she tried to say that) I ended up asking for manager because she seemed overwhelmed and a bit bias about our group. Assuming that we wouldn't want one check and splitting them because she figured we would want it that way and then blaming us because she did it when we never asked for split. There rule is parties over 8 have to have 1 bill and we never asked for an exception. There was just her assumption that a group of black women wouldn't want to do that. (I digress) There were a few more things but I will end it there. That was the big negative. Now the positive!!! Ambiance 10/10 - great views, great music, great location, umbrellas on roof were great although a but wobbly and scary. Also, they come around with complimentary sunglasses while dining. I thought this was a nice and luxurious touch! Food 8/10 - most food received was delicious Service 9/10 - everyone except for our server was great! Everyone who pitched in to help was awesome! Ended up tipping a different server who basically helped us the whole time. Bless his heart because I know he was super busy. As stated above management handle the situation well. I would definitely go back! I try to give people a chance. I think our server may have been overwhelmed and had a past experience that left her bias against our group but hopefully she can grow and get better. Her actions don't reflect the restaurant as a whole! Go and enjoy the vibes and views!

The vibe is relaxed with music piped through, and a couple TVs in case you want to watch sports or a movie while sipping your beer. The food is legit, and the tap list delivers. Let's start with the pizza. They've got all the classics--cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, BBQ chicken, buffalo--but the creative pies are where this place really shines. The brisket pizza with Alabama white sauce is interestingly good, and the pepperoni, basil, pesto, ricotta, hot honey pizza is next-level amazing. The house-made dough is dialed in and ties everything together beautifully. Pair that with a draft beer and you're set. The taproom regularly pours a good lineup from Narrow Gauge Brewing Company--IPAs, stouts, lagers, plus at least one fruity sour. Personal favorites include Atlantic (an English-style barleywine) and Galaphobia (milk stout), but you can't go wrong with a DDH IPA, Lining the Walls Hefeweizen, or the flagship OJ Run. Not in a pizza mood? The giant pub pretzels with beer cheese and mustard are perfect for sharing (or not ). Or grab an order of house-made breadsticks with garlic butter or homemade marinara for dipping. We've gone a few times and most recently during their Darkest Beer Days event. And it did not disappoint--an awesome way to celebrate the Winter Solstice with great dark beers and guest taps. I appreciate that they highlight not only Narrow Gauge, but also other Midwest breweries like Streetside Brewing, Butchertown Brewing, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, and Transient Artisan Ales at this special event. Bonus points: the owner shared that they'll close the taproom for private group events, and if your crew likes pinball, there are a few machines to keep things fun between pours. Definitely worth considering! Fantastic food, great beer, creative events, and a nice atmosphere--this place is an absolute win. We'll keep coming back (and bringing friends) and hope to see this place do more events in the future.
