Came to Danville, needed to eat. Found this place, so why not! Great day to sit outside. Kayleigh was great being patient with us as we had never been here before. She made recommendations. The pretzel breadsticks were hit and delicious, then right after those arrived so did the entrées. I tried Kayleigh's recommendation of the 1/2 pound smash burger. My wife got the buffalo chicken appetizer. Both were great. R Definitely going to try this place again!

Blueberry Winter Smash - fresh blueberries muddled, blueberry vodka, elderflower, club soda - A cocktail featuring muddled blueberries and elderflower, served in a short glass filled with ice. The drink is garnished with fresh blueberries and sprigs of herbs, likely rosemary or thyme. The glass is placed on a black napkin on a bar counter, with a background of bottles, glasses, and bar equipment visible.

We had to stop by again for the food. So delicious! They had their wings tonight and they were 10/10 some of the best in the state. Our server was very kind and professional. It was great to see the patio open and we would love to come back with our dogs

Inside of restaurant - The image shows the interior of a modern restaurant with a high ceiling and contemporary decor. There are several dining tables with chairs, some occupied by patrons. The bar area has multiple TVs mounted above it, and a brick wall behind the bar. A staircase leads to a second-floor balcony with additional seating. Potted plants are placed in the foreground, and the lighting includes hanging bulbs and string lights, creating a warm atmosphere.

It's very pretty and also cozy inside. The service was great and the food is made fresh. Good value for the quality.

The restaurant was a cool vibe. We went on a chilly day so we set on the inside. They have an outside patio that would be awesome to sit on during a sunny day. I ordered the chicken wings and a side of fries. The chicken wings were seasoned well and crispy. It was a great value. Our server was nice but I do have one complaint. Like I mentioned before I ordered wing that come sauced. I wanted the sauce on the side and asked the server her opinion on some different sauces and narrowed it down to 2. I was about to make a decision when the server suggested i get both. I asked could I do that and she said yes. She failed to mention that there was an additional charge for multiple sauces. I found that out when I received my bill.

Ahi Tuna - A white round plate holds sliced meat, likely beef or pork, topped with shredded vegetables, including cabbage and carrots. The dish is garnished with dark sauce and white mayonnaise drizzles. The plate is placed on a black table with chopsticks resting on the edge. In the background, there are empty square plates, a glass of beer, and an outdoor setting with sunlight and greenery.

Great place to have a great drink and good food! I absolutely loved the Strawberry Mule! It was delicious and refreshing! We started off the Aji tuna appetizer, which was very good. We went with our server's recommendations for dinner - fish tacos and Parmesan Crusted Cod. It was a total fish themed dinner! The food and the service were both very good. My only regret is that we didn't have room for dessert! We will be going back!

Peach Sangria - A clear wine glass filled with peach sangria, featuring blueberries and star-shaped fruit pieces, is set on a wooden table. The drink contains ice and is accompanied by a straw in a nearby glass of water. The background shows blurred outdoor restaurant decor and a person wearing a blue shirt.

We have been twice and both times enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and beer menu. Will likely become a staple in places we visit.

I got the quesa birria tacos, which is shredded beef and melted cheese in a double corn tortilla. They come three to an order, with a cup of red consomme to dip them into, and a couple of lime wedges to squeeze over everything. They do not come with any sides, so I ordered the refried pinto beans and carrot rice, because I really wanted some rice and beans. Beans and rice are my litmus test of any Mexican restaurant, and I'm happy to say that the rice and beans at Tlahcos passed the test with flying colors, and they are sublime. I don't practice Santeria, but perhaps the people at Tlahcos do, because their food is bewitching. The carne asada was also ordered, and it came with grilled nopales (cactus), cebollita canbray (little onions), grilled panela cheese, plus guacamole, salsa, rice and black beans. It was a 98%, and what would have raised it to a 100% was if it came with tortillas. But really, it was a great dish! If you're a person who is used to eating carne asada on a regular basis, you will be satisfied with this one. Chips and salsa are complimentary, which shows that Tlahcos knows its Plainfield-area visitors. My children, who eat like birds, filled themselves up on chips and salsa and declined a full meal, but Tlahcos does have a kids menu. On the kids menu, you'll find arroz con pollo, mini cheese quesadillas, a taco, mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and a mini pizza. Kid meals come with your choice of side, which are fries, rice & beans or a cup of fruit. They have a full cocktail list, as well as beer, wine and hot beverages (coffee and tea). I got a Paloma, which was a little light on the booze, but tasty nevertheless. The rim of the glass was beautifully decorated with Tajin, which added a nice, spicy kick. It was one of those drinks that makes you want to lick the glass.

The drinks are great. I have had the Birria tacos, the guacamole, the refried beans, and black beans, as well as multiple food options. Seriously, I have taken clients here as well as family. My most recent experience was still great, but there are two items I would never order off the menu. Let's look at the good and bad of these items: Baja Fish Tacos- I was looking for the cabbage-filled delicacies that are light but flavorful. What I received appeared to be small fish sticks stuck into a tortilla. The cabbage and sauce were tasty, but they could not mask the main cause of the tacos' failure: the fish. Do not order these. Ceviche Yucatan- looking for flavor with the light ceviche? That is not what this is. This is a large portion of ceviche dressed in a sweet sauce that completely overpowers it. Not even sure that you can call it a ceviche at this point. But the portion was good, and the ceviche ingredients looked fresh. Otherwise, we had the house guac, which was so so good, the birria tacos, which were amazing with the sauce as usual, the fundido, which was flavorful cheese and chorizo, as well as the Zapopan, which was a wonderful fusion of mango and spice (who knew bacon in this would be great). Housemade Horchata is great, not too sweet and flavorful as well as the Rita margarita! GREAT. Overall, a great night, some great food, and I will be back, but I will just not order the two items discussed above! PROS: Great flavors and food Good seating Good service Parking garage or street parking, easy CONS: Smaller actual bar top area

Once he drops off the drinks he ask if we're ready and my husband said "not yet, can we get just a couple more minutes". I kid you not, this man literally rolled his eyes at us. At first my husband and I thought we were just crazy till we just noticed more attitude the rest of the night. A few mins later he comes back, takes our order. Me and my husband ordered the steak street tacos and after my husband was done ordering I asked him if the tacos came with a spicy sauce, I asked this because it's supposed to but some places are bad about giving it, he said "yes" but walked away before I could say anything else. For all he knows I could've been telling him I didn't want it. Few mins later he brings me a completely different sauce and just sits it on the table, couldn't even tell him that's not what I meant. We also only got three limes for all 6 of our tacos. We ran out of salsa while we were waiting on our food but he never even came back to check on us until our food was ready. Mind you, he had been near our table multiple times but made sure to never make eye contact with us or anything. When we received our food, I asked if we could have more salsa and he didn't say anything. Had no clue if we were getting more or not. He ended up bringing it surprisingly but not sure why he suddenly forgot how to speak. Lastly, like 5 mins after we received our food he brought us our check and never came to check on us again after that. He also turned off the TVs, assuming to rush us out. We arrived around 8:30, they closed at 10 pm. We got our food around 9:05. There was absolutely no reason to rush us out or treat us the way. We also were not the only ones there. We just happened to be the only ones with a rude server. All the others servers were great. Safe to say we will not be back. Not sure what his name was, but he was the only male waiter there besides the one working the host stand. If I were the owner/manager I'd have a serious word with him if I were you cause dude needs to learn some serious manners if he ever wants to get a good tip.

Although the parking lot was full we didn't have to wait and were seated immediately. The interior is larger than it looks from the outside. As soon as we sat down we were served chips and salsa, and both were very good. We ordered drinks and food, and everything was served in a timely manner. Each of us ordered a different entree, and we were all very happy with our selections. Servings were generous, in particular the burrito was HUGE! Service was attentive, our glasses were refilled promptly. Prices were very reasonable. This turned out to be just the dinner experience we needed after a full day of walking and shopping at Covered Bridge Festival.

I'd long been curious about Parlor, however, there's not one near me. I've been spending more time with my father lately as he experiences health issues. As a result, I've been in Hendricks County quite a bit. Parlor Doughnuts is located in a free-standing building in a parking lot adjacent to a strip center. Parlor has both indoor dining and a drive-thru. Parlor is more of a premium-doughnut vendor. Most doughnuts are in the $2.45-$3.45 range. Parlor Doughnuts is an Indiana born chain that was started in February 2019 in Evansville. It has expanded somewhat quickly and is now considered a national chain. This location's interior has a rather nice ambience. The menu consists of their famous layered doughnuts and about 28 different kinds of doughnuts including some keto friendly and vegan/gluten friendly options. They also have dog doughnuts. Parlor also has some breakfast sandwiches, a variety of coffee-themed drinks, some bottled drinks (I got an unsweetened iced tea in a bottle), and a few other options. I ordered two "chocolate chocolate" doughnuts and my bottle of unsweetened iced tea. The employee was friendly throughout the encounter. Service was timely. I spent right about $11. It's definitely not a value experience, however, for a more premium doughnut it's in the ballpark. I've definitely paid much more for much worse. Overall, this was a positive experience. The doughnuts were good (I will admit they somewhat tasted like they'd been out a bit) and the service was strong. While I'm not going to say this is a 5-star experience, I can easily go 4-stars.
