We love stopping in here after walking on the B&O trail. I like that they have beer AND cocktails. And the pizzas are awesome :) we always have good conversation with the bartenders as well.

What an excellent pizza, the Our Father's was delicious. Chill environment, great service, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Looking forward to coming back.

    Beer is almost 1/3 foam.

Food is limited to pizza (tavern style and very good), hot dogs, breadsticks. Atmosphere is casual. You get 1 1/2 inches of foam with each beer.

This brewery is right next to the IndyCar manufacturing plant and just a short walk from the race track. The atmosphere has a fun race and daredevil theme. They serve a great selection of pizzas and bar food, I tried the Three-Way Pepperoni on thin crust, and it was excellent. There's plenty of parking and seating both indoors and outdoors, plus outdoor games like cornhole to enjoy.

Beer was great. Tried the daredevil brew and vacation which are both lighter beers and got thin crust pizza and breadsticks for dinner. Pizza was very good if you like thin crust ! Crispy and loaded with toppings.

Stopped in for a beer and a pizza to go. Out of red sauce. Just not my day. Got the beer and a pizza with no sauce. We will see.

Great location, delicious pizza, and really good beer! What else is there? Limited menu, but perfect for a brew pub especially when it's well made and delivered piping hot. I would definitely make this a stop!

Once again Daredevil delivers an A+ experience! Introduced my dad to the pizza today for his 76th Birthday. He absolutely loved it and can't wait for warm ups later. In addition to the awesome pizza, the staff is so very cool. I love asking questions about the pizza and they love answering. Owner should be proud because the ladies are very passionate and believe in the product being offered. Now as I learned today, I need to go visit daredevil hall in the ironworks hotel at keystone at the crossing location. Thanks for another awesome lunch and making my dads day extra special with that sausage mushroom pizza!

Mama Mia, who would think the pizza here would be the most memorable thing. The beer was good too, but that pizza is amaze-balls. I would go back for that alone. They said they learned from another pizza maker and I'll say they probably snatched that pebble away from the previous master. They didn't have any wheats on my visit, but the German Kolsch style and their stout was delicious. I think I ended up with a 2nd Stout because I liked it so much. I don't remember if I had 2 or if I was seeing double. I can't tell you where it is, not because it's a secret, but because I didn't drive and I'm glad for that. I think it's near the speedway as there were lots of Indy driver names on buildings. That's what maps are for though. Find it and and make sure you get beer and pizza. I think that combination is going to catch on.

Finally made it in to Daredevil to actually sit down and relax. Every time we have been here, it's a day of a Racemaker Production 5k, so it's a little chaotic (but still fun AND their patio is amazing!!) The atmosphere on the inside was nice and chill. I ordered the only stout that they had, the JWP, since I figured it was the perfect beer to go along with the 20 degree weather outside. Let me tell you, it was. It was one of the best stouts I have ever had! It was super creamy, bold, and had a nice coffee flavor. My fiance got the vacation and he really enjoyed it as well. The bartender was super nice and friendly too! Would love to come back here and actually try the pizza!! Definitely recommend stopping by!!

This is a solid microbrewery nestled into the Speedway restaurant district. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a humungous room with 30ft ceilings. They have quite a few beers on tap ranging from light to dark....many European inspired variaties. I went with something called "Muse" which was a lighter Belgian type of ale. It was lovely. Food menu is very limited: pizza, sausages, apps. The main draw is the beer and neighborhood. Nice people and good service. Give it a try !

Review for beer only, not food! Came in around 6:00 on a Friday night and got the last available table in the back. Inside had an industrial brewery feel. Within a few minutes of being seated we were greeted by our waitress. She was kind but didn't offer up any suggestions or recommendations. Beer was brought out promptly, but then we didn't see her again, which I understand it was busy, but we would have likely gotten more if she had been back sooner. Beer was good, comparable to other breweries in the area. I would come back again in the summer to check out their outdoor seating. Adequate parking around the brewery and Speedway area!

The old Bavarian charm remains throughout the restaurant. Our visit this time was prior to the MJ MUSICAL at Old National. It's right across the street. The staff is well aware of their diner's itinerary and backs certain you can enjoy cocktails, wine, and dinner in time for the 7:00 pm start time. I applaud that courtesy. It was evident that our server, Cindy was a seasoned employee (20 years). Her attention throughout our visit left us wanting for nothing. I noticed many times her surveying our table for refills, empty plates. Her big smile and friendly personality only added to the exceptional experience. The food is prepared in the traditional German style. It is rich and very filling. The portions are enormous. Our party enjoyed an appetizer of Brat & Kraut balls and entrees of Schnitzel Parm., Jäeger schnitzel, spinach dinner salad with hot bacon dressing and my favorite "Oxtail Soup". Just the item for a cold winter night. Patrons of OLD NATIONAL CENTER shows should start their evening off right with dinner at THE RATHSKELLER. You won't be disappointed.

But the food was absolutely delicious, and I loved to see a large building going to good use. PROS: -If you want to be transported into a German beer hall, welcome. This is your place. Located in an old, traditional church, small hallways and rooms and lots and lots of wooden accents await you. Unlike some of the commercialized German beer halls (like Hofbrauhaus), this one feels like it has been around for ages. -DELICIOUS food. All of the sausages came pre-cut and absolutely delicious. Our Braut-n-Balls were great too. Really cheap pretzels you can buy by-the-pretzel to add even more German to your life. Zero complaints about any of the food we got here. -I don't know why I assumed Rathskeller was their own brewery, but that was silly. They do, however, import a TON of German beers - including quite a few faves I had when I was over in Germany. They had some imported seasonals too, and I found one I loved (that I'm a little sad about since it'd be hard to find here outside of Rathskeller). -Service was around. I wouldn't call it attentive, but we had what we wanted shortly after wanting it, so it wasn't bad. They were efficient - not necessarily friendly. CONS: -I would be worried about the bathroom situation if coming here during an event or peak hours. The restaurant feels a bit like a labyrinth, so I'm not sure if I missed it, but the single women's restroom that was easily accessible only had a few stalls in it. There's seating for hundreds of people here, easily. For the outdoor area, there are 4 porta-potties in the alleyway. (There are quite a few homeless people in the area too, and I would assume those actually also serve a very helpful function for the community too?) -The "multiple menus" thing is really confusing. When we tried to pre-shop our options before coming here, we didn't know which menu to use. When we ended up coming here and they handed us 8 (literal) pages of different menus, it felt overwhelming. There's a lot of overlap between the menus, but they aren't exact copies. -Hallways and tables are TIGHT in here. You will probably prefer the outdoor picnic tables in the warmer months if you have mobility issues. There were multiple table-and-chair sets that were, simply, too tightly put to the table behind them that I literally couldn't get into them. We finally found a table that had a bit extra space (so I could get in), but my super-slender tablemate had to do a super-tight shimmy and take off all of his sweatshirts to get in on his end. -Women's bathroom access appears to be down some stairs inside, too, (at least the one I found), so this really may not be a good fit for people who have difficulty with smaller spaces, steps, or uneven flooring. I will note that they do have a handicap-accessible outdoor porta-potty though.

We planned to make an afternoon of it since it's an hour drive to Greencastle from Indy and stopped in at Lost Hollow for some beers before stopping in at a local antique shop and then heading home. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure if they have a parking lot or not because we parked on the street. We were seated right away and our server was very sweet. It was very empty inside, just one other person sitting at the bar. Later on, a few more tables filled up with people coming in for lunch. My first beer was the Duke Lager and my husband got the Little Jeff Hefeweizen. We both really enjoyed them! Crisp and cold and refreshing. Their food menu looked really good too, but we had just eaten before coming in, so I would love to come back with friends for lunch or dinner and some beers. I ended up ordering a 2nd beer, the canned pumpkin imperial ale, and it was very rich and delicious. My husband thought it was a little too sweet, but I love pumpkin ales and loved it. The inside is spacious with lots of plants in the windows and a big stage, so I'm sure they get busy when there is live music. The bathrooms were big and very clean. They have a bid deck out front with comfortable looking patio furniture. We honestly would have sat outside even though it was a little bit chilly if it hadn't been raining. Highly recommend driving to Greencastle and supporting some of their local businesses before or after enjoying some delicious beers.
